Spring has come and gone
the petals have shown grace
with their vibrant exhibition,
now wilted against the stem
flowers have stopped blooming
their hues have bleached out
but their sweet aura still exists
as it seeped down to the core.
nature's rhythm shall soon revive
and restore life into faded blooms
so let us not mourn the passing,
for the Spring will return again
with all its glories and splendor
it will bring a new hope and life
to all the fields and gardens around.

Loss may fade the colors of life,
but hope can always bring them back

I love the hope in this poem <3 I often find that the most honest, compelling type of hope comes from the simple fact that life is cyclical and we always seem to loop back to where we've been before - and this poem captures that feeling perfectly.

I also really like how you chose to capitalize only the first letters of the words "Spring" and "Loss" - because everything else is lowercase, it draws a lot of attention to those important concepts. Keep up the great work, H!
When you're faced with something you don't understand, I think the most natural thing but also least interesting thing you can be is afraid.

2.)

Dreams are a gateway to our past
portal to worlds beyond human grasp.
In slumber's embrace, we journey afar
to realms where spirits and memories are.

The departed ones, they return to us again
conjured by our mind, a fleeting space within.
Their presence felt and their voices heard,
though in reality their faces have blurred.

Cravings and logingness from daily lives
are the key to portals when night arrives.
Time bends and twists, memories entwined,
as our minds create a world undefined.

In dreams, we find a moment's Solace,
as we embrace their heavenly presence.
Conversations held and hearts renewed,
In dreams, the veil of death is subdued.

Feeling their vulnerable heart beat again
we're reminded of our mistakes, and the pain.
But the dawn breaks, and dreams fade away,
Leaving us again with a bittersweet dismay.

But it's not the last time we'll meet, we know,
For a new portal opens, as whispers of night grow.
Dawn will come again to make the spirit go away
we hold on to hope, for another rendezvous someday.

Their essence lingers, though dreams may wane,
In our hearts, their love will forever remain.

Poem 1 really resonates to me. I am very much feeling those "we've been here before" vibes this spring with the earth repeating its song again, and I like your reflection on how that ties in with hope.

Poem 2 I especially enjoyed this line: "In dreams, the veil of death is subdued." - in addition to the excellent use of consonance (!!) I think this is very poetic observation - that it is sometimes within dreaming or day-dreaming even that the veil of death is pulled back a little and we can live in the world with our passed loved ones again, if only for a moment. <3

Strong poems so far!

3.)

the fledglings waiting still
chirping with a hopeful prayer
in cradle of twigs and leaves
their loves will arrive in wings
with food for the hungry beaks
and tales to tell from a long day
of men and world that awaits them
tucked in love's embrace, no fears
this sky will someday be theirs
With strength and courage they'll soar,
Their journey shall soon unfold.
