The more reviews you make, the more stars you get. This does not count posts anywhere else besides the literary forums, and does not count new topics.

Below is a listing of the stars you will receive per number of reviews:

For Yellow Stars:

    5 Reviews = 1 Star
    25 Reviews = 2 Stars
    75 Reviews = 3 Stars
    150 Reviews = 4 Stars
    250 Reviews = 5 Stars

For Blue Stars:

    350 Reviews = 1 Blue Star, 4 Yellow Stars
    450 Reviews = 2 Blue Stars, 3 Yellow Stars
    550 Reviews = 3 Blue Stars, 2 Yellow Stars
And so on and so forth

For Red Stars:
    850 Reviews = 1 Red Star, 4 Blue Stars
    950 Reviews = 2 Red Stars, 3 Blue Stars
And so on and so forth

For Purple Stars:
    1350 Reviews = 1 Purple Star, 4 Red Stars
    1450 Reviews = 2 Purple Stars, 3 Red Stars
And so on and so forth

For Skyblue Stars:
    1850 Reviews = 1 Skyblue Star, 4 Purple Stars
    1950 Reviews = 2 Skyblue Stars, 3 Purple Stars
And so on and so forth

For Lime Stars:
    2350 Reviews = 1 Lime Star, 4 Skyblue Stars
    2450 Reviews = 2 Lime Stars, 3 Skyblue Stars
And so on and so forth

For Orange Stars:
    2850 Reviews = 1 Orange Star, 4 Lime Stars
    2950 Reviews = 2 Orange Stars, 3 Lime Stars
And so on and so forth

3 Orange stars: 3050 reviews
4 Orange stars: 3150 reviews
5 Orange stars: 3250 reviews

The new max is 3350 reviews, with five orange stars. I dare anyone to even try to get that much.

The above system enables new users to gain stars relatively quickly, but rewards those who review over a longer period of time.

Spoiler! :
At 1,250 reviews, you max out with 5 red stars. If a lot of people start hitting that in the future (doubtful methinks... 1,250 reviews is A LOT), we can start adding purple stars or something like that.

Wow, that's crazy. You'd have to be an avid reader and skillful critique artist to get 5 red stars!

I wonder if anyone will get that many red stars. 1250 is a lot.

Ahmad, pretty much everything that was on the old site will come back. It's just a matter of when. :)

Doesn't snoink have something like jackals instead of stars??? They look strange.
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

Those are pigs.

The stars were beaten into pigginess long ago by Snoink, and they have never recovered since.

And, if anybody is insane enough to hit the level of Snoink, their reward shall be more pig.

I would prefer having the shades smileys as a rating ( 8) ) When I get to Snoinky's level (said that like a boss, btw) xD
It's not about the weight of what's spoken.
It's about being heard.
