City by the Sea

Fang

The girl goes onto the offensive, I block most of her attacks with the shaft of my spear, she unleashes with a powerful downward swipe. I block the attack with my spear, she doesn't pull away as I see cracks in my spear forming.

"Pretty good, but you'll need to be better if you want to beat me." I said.

I slip away from her spinning she nearly falls forward, with a hand or should I say kick from me, I push her to the ground I point the sharp end of my spear down on her as I felt powerful tremers in the ice. I stop a moment trying to figure out what it was when it rises out of the sea.

Hayden

“I am telling to truth.” I say to him. He looks oddly familiar, but that does not matter to me at the moment. “Oh and do not call me honey. I am not a child.” I complain. I tun around, seeing the whirl pool. “ Look at it. It is right there.”

Selena

I step beside her, seeing the whirlpool. Okay maybe she is telling the truth...

I drop my cigarette and look back at her, "We can't really do anything," I reply, "I don't have any powers or whatever you want me to have. It's not safe to be near us," I take a step back, "How don't you reconize us? We don't help people unless there is a reasonable pay in return."

Hayden

I look from one of them to the other, trying to figure out why they looks so familiar. Then it hits me. They have been in the news paper,on TV, but not for good reasons. "Oh my god your, your." I step away from the door and bolt to my car. This has not been a good day.

Mark

I let Selena handle things, heading back to the window and taking another swig of wine. Wonderful. Now someone knows we're here.

Ada

She slips away and I spin around. She kicks me to the ground and points the end of her spear down on me. Then she stops, tremors in the ice, and something else rises out of the sea.

Fang

A mighty leavithon rises up out of the water, it wasn't the king of the sea. But one that is pretty damn close, a girl, a woman who I could practcally tell from even the height difference between the whirlpool and the size of the leviathon she was smircking. Probably happy to ruin my plans, I remove my foot off the girl as I gazed up at the leviathon.

"Awww son of a b*tch." I mutter under my breath.

Selena

The girl leaves and I smirk, closing the door and walking to the bed. I plop down, pulling a wad of cash from my pocket and counting it.

Ada

Something else rises out of the sea and the girl releases me. I take the opportunity and sink into the ocean, watching from afar.

I sit next to Selena and glance over the money, "Nice catch. Where from?"

Natalie Claw

Rising out of the sea on my Leviathan Emily, I looked down at the frozen whirlpool as Basing - Fang looked up at me. I couldn't help but smile as I had the perfect way of getting rid of her lame waterspout attempt, to break up the frozen whirlpool. I raised my hand in the air signaling a command I was about to give, I smiled as the second person got out of dodge but not Fang.

Emily open fire, your target, the Frozen Whirlpool!" I order.

Emily opens her mouth and charges up a deadly water beam attack, the sheer power would destroy the frozen whirlpool and send Fang packing.

Fang

"Awww crud!" I said.

The stupid serpentine opens its mouth as I knew I was in trouble, I would have to time it perfectly if I wanted to dodge this attack. The attack is unleashed in a powerful roar, I disinagrate into water at the perfect time as the attack hits me. The whirlpool shatters into a million pieces on contact and I'm left to run away, I reform a few miles away from the beast just near shore as I pulled myself to shore. That was one trick I'm never pulling again.

Selena

"James," I reply, flashing a smile, "You didn't get you're pay yet?"

Ada

A Leviathan?

I pull myself out of the water before all hell breaks loose. Soon the whirlpool is reduced to nothing and the girl in the middle of it is washed up on shore.

Who the hell are these people?

Mark

I shake my head, sighing, "I've been away a while. Haven't had the chance to stop by."

Hayden

I get the keys out of my purse and get into my car. I speed home and burst into my house. This is all just a crazy dream and when you wake up you are going to laugh. I change and get into my bed. Every time my eyes close, I see everything replaying in my head. I keep telling myself it is nothing. That I did not see the whirl pool, Ada is still my normal friend and those people were just the twins of the horrible people on TV.

Natalie

"To shore Emily!" I order.

Emily sinks back into the water, I stand on her head as she goes as far as to cover her head up. To most people, it looked like I was standing on water, to me I was standing on top of Emily. Soon I was approaching the shores and fast as Emily stretched her head out to get me there, when I figured I was in shallow water. I hopped off and soon petted Emily.

"Head back to the sea Emily, play nice now you hear?" I said with a slight giggle.

Fang

With that stupid runt approaching fast, I couldn't stick around here. I needed to regroup and, find a way to create my waterspout without interference from these brats. I soon pull myself out of the sand and found myself running down the beach, and soon back into the water where I was safest. It was going to be a long trip home.

Charlotte (Char for short)

I awake to the ridiculous sound of my phone ringing. I wipe my eyes with my hands and look over to the clock. I bang my fist on the side table and answer the phone. “Four freaking o'clock in the morning, Charles. You know as well as anyone else that I am not a morning person.” I scream at him.

“Char, we need you for another job with us.” Charles say.

“Well I am on vacation and I advise you not to bother me again. Can't this wait another month, or even another six hours?” I say.

“No it cannot. There have been rumors about the two of them.” He says.

“It is too da*m early to be messing around with me. Tell me exactly who you are talking about.” I say sighing.

“We caught James.” He says. “We found some information about the two that has been doing some of his dirty work. There names are Mark and Selena and we have found a few pictures that could be them.”

“That is all well and good, but what the fu*k does that have to do with me?” I ask him.

“You are going to find them Char. You are the only person I trust with this job.” Charles says.

“Don't flatter me. Where are they?” I ask getting out of bed.

“Orlando.” He says. “We have a plane to pick you up now. Your house is ready, stocked with clothes, guns, food, your gear. Everything you need, but there is a car outside your house now. Take it and get on the plane.”

“I know the drill. I will let you know when I get there.” I say rolling my eyes and hanging up. I head out to my car and yell at the driver. “I hate being the only one that can do things.”

Selena

I glance at him, "Why? It's not like Lance is gonna hurt you or anything..." I smile, "You should pick up you're--"

I get a text and take out my phone. A text from James.

"That b*tch!" I yell, pissed off, "He ratted us out!"
