City by the Sea

Your character now lives in Orlando, Florida. They now live in the beautiful neighborhood of Montobello. This neighborhood has a tennis court, volly ball court, golf, and a huge swimming pool. There is a club house by the pool where most parties are held. This neighborhood is right by the ocean.

On the other side of the neighborhood is a town. This town has everything from strip malls to resturants. You can go shopping, go to the park, ride some rides, watch a movie and go out for a nice dinner.

Taylor

The moving truck leaves and I stare at the pile of boxes in the drive way. This is going to take forever. I sigh and start to bring the boxes inside the house. The house is perfect. There is an ocean viem, two levels and a large back yard. It is beautiful. I bring the boxes to the bed room and start to unpack.

I hear a knock on the door and quickly rush to it, not knowing who could possibly be there.

Hayden

I get the cookies out of the oven and place them on a plate. I quickly rush over next door and knock. New neighbors, so exciting. I sway back and fort, waiting for an answer. A woman opens the door . She looks young to have her own house. "Hi new neighbor." I say with a huge smile. ''It is so good to have you is Montobello. It is so nice. I'm Hayden Key. "

"Taylor." She says

"It is so nice to meet you. Your house is beautiful. If you ever need anything, I am next door.'' I say. I hand her the cookies. "I made you cookies. Hope you like them."

Alex

Taking Jake to the room ride beside the master bedroom, I put the infant down and flash a smile. He clutches his stuffed toy and sits up on his knees, looking around.

"I'll be right back, buddy," I tell him, making sure there's nothing for him to hurt himself with around.

I take the chance and bolt down to the front door just as Taylor reenters the house with a plate of cookies and a smile.

"Ooh," I steal one off the plate and take a bite, nodding in approval afterwards, "I want these."

I reach for the whole plate but she shakes her head, "Boxes first."

I narrow my eyes at her before giving in and kissing her cheek, sighing.

"Fine," I mutter, heading outside.

I carry a few more boxes in before remembering Jake. Swearing mentally, I bolt back into the room and find him trying to climb a window.

"Jake, bud, I'm sorry," I scoop him up, "I forgot."

Carrying him out of the room, I search for Taylor among the tall stacks of boxes and the unfamiliar rooms.

Taylor

Alex comes back in with Jake and I steel Jake out of Alex's arms. "Jake, this is your new house. You are going to love it here." I say kissing his forehead. I lay him on the the bed and put pillows around him so he will not fall off the bed. "There you go Jake." I go over to Alex and help him with the box. "He is such a good baby." I say kissing him on the cheek."

Alex

I smile, watching Taylor, and lean against the doorway. She walks over to me and helps me with the boxes, kissing me on the cheek.

"He is such a good baby," she says.

I nod, making a mental note not to tell her I left him all by himself for a good ten minutes. I mean... It's not like he could have done much...but still. I'd pay for that if I did.

"He is," I kiss her cheek back.

Taylor


We manage to get all the boxes I to the living room. We still have a long way to go. I plop down on to the bed next to Jake. Alex is laying on the other side. Jake's eyes slowly close and I smile. ''I guess watching us made him sleepy." I say to Alex. I pick him up and walk to his room. I put him to his crib and pull the side up. I turn the baby monitor on and head back to our bed room. I lay on the bed and cuddle next to Alex. I lean up and kiss him,smiling. "Oh by the way, you missed the welcome wagon." I say to Alex.

"What?" He asks.

"Her name is Hayden. She is all smiles. She was kind of creepy." I say laying on his chest.

Hayden

I skip down the street and go to the tennis court. I watch the ball go back and forth. It goes out for the team on the left. I cheer loudly for the guy, getting weird looks from people watching. Oh darn, not suppost to cheer loud. "Sorry." I say loudly. "Go back to what you are doing." I say.

Alex

Taylor acts all motherly and I plop down on our bed, sighing as I stare up at the ceiling. She comes back later on and cuddles close to me, kissing me with a huge smile across her face.

"Oh by the way, you missed the welcome wagon," she says.

"What?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

"Her name is Hayden. She is all smiles. She was kind of creepy," she replies, laying on my chest.

So that's where the cookies came from!

"Can you tell her to make more cookies?" I ask, smirking "I have a feeling they'll be gone by tomorrow morning."

Taylor

I laugh and look up at him. He kisses my forehead and smiles down at me. We lay therefor a while just enjoying each others company. I hear a faint giggle coming from the baby monitor. Alex and I get up out of the bed and go into his room. Alex picks him up and holds him. He is such a good father. "Oh my goodness, Jake. Did you have a good nap?" I ask him kissing his forehead.

He laughed and throws his head back on Alex's shoulder.

"We should take him to the pool. We bought him a float and bathing suit before we left, what do you think?"

Alex

I kiss her forehead when she looks up at me, smiling down at her. A few minutes pass until the baby monitor sounds with giggling. Flashing a smile, I follow Taylor into Jake's room and take him in my arms. Taylor kisses his forehead and asks about his nap. The little boy just laughs and throws his head back on my shoulder.

"We should take him to the pool. We bought him a float and bathing suit before we left, what do you think?" Taylor asks.

"Sure," I reply, kissing her cheek, "I'll find his stuff. Why don't you go change?"

Taylor

I smile and kiss him. "Okay." I say. I walk into the master bed room and look for the box marked 'swim wear'. I find it and dig through it. I find a bathint suit for me and change into it. I lay out on for Alex and grab a pool bag. I put all the things we need in it.

Alex comes in with Jake all changed into his swin trunks. He hands the baby to me and goes to change. "Jake you are so hansom." Alex walks in changed and smiles. "Just like you daddy." I say.

Alex

I dig through a box until I find Jake's swimwear and float. I help him change and bring him into the master bedroom, where Taylor stands ready. Handing him over, I kiss her forehead and take my suit into the bathroom to change. I come out just as she compares him to me and smile, shaking my head.

"C'mon, Tay," I wrap an arm around her, slipping the bag over my shoulder, and kiss both their foreheads.

Taylor

I laugh and we walk outside. I remember the pool is not far, so I put Jake in the stroller and buckle him in. We walk down the street and soon arrive at the pool soon later. We walk through the gate and find two chairs. Alex rubs sun screen on my back while I rub some on Jake.

We put him in the float and into the water. He giggles and pars the water. "A www. I say laying my head on Alex's shoulder and holding the float.

Alex

I smile and wrap my arms around Taylor from behind, kissing her cheek, "C'mon, let's get in."

I slip in the water and pull on the float gently to have Jake part from his mother, giving her incentive to come in. Smirking, I lower so that the water comes to my neck and spin Jake around once or twice.

Taylor

I watch Alex spin Jake around in his float. Jake is cracking up every time he turns around. I smile and swim closer to them. Jake reaches his hands out for me to hold him, so I pick him up. He lays his head on my shoulder and smiles at his daddy. I kis Jake's forehead and walk over to the steps with him in my arms. Alex comes and sits up besid eand put a his arm around me.

Alex

Taylor comes closer and picks Jake up, smiling. He lays his head on her shoulder and smiles at me. I smile back at the both of them as I watch Taylor kiss his forehead and walk to the steps. Following, I sit beside my wife and wrap my arms around her. I take a deep breath and watch them, my smile never fading.
