I watch, almost pressed to laughing at the look on the guy's face when she punches him.

Rayah

I shake my head, "She says I'll be fine," I take his hand.

I smile as he gets all up in my face.

"Huh, Jackie? You wanna mess with me?"

I shrug, "Maybe I do. Gotta problem with that?"

He grins, "I don't fight girls."

I cross my arms again and step next to Nic, "What about Nic?"

Jace

I nod and kiss the side of her face, leading her out. Alyx is waiting in the car, ready to go.

Whoa...what?

I look at Jackie and then back at the guy, remaining expressionless.

"I'm up for kicking your a*s," I shrug.

Balthier

"Gray who's ever at the door, ignore them, theres work that has yet to be done!" I declare.

I pour over some of my weapons for later, I look out the door and catch the glimpes of a gorgeous woman that had truely caught my eye. I go back to my work as I loaded a few of my guns with celestion bronze bullets, I take my long sword and shot gun sliping the long sword at my side and my gun at my back. I walk over to the door after I see Gray get hit and hold him at the shoulder as I look at the woman and man.

"I'm sorry mi lady, is my friend here causing you problems?" I ask.

Rayah

I jump in the car again, keeping an arm around my stomach, and sigh.

Jackie

I smile wider, Gray chuckling, "Wow."

A new guy comes and I look up at him, "Yes. He is."

Jace

I sit next to Rayah and Alyx makes to take us home.

Nic

Oh wonderful. Another bag of testosterone.

I don't say anything, studying the new guy, and shift uncomfortably because of the way he's looking at Jackie.

I never wanted competition...

Balthier

"Well rest assured mi lady, I shall deal with him post haste." I said.

Gray who was chuckling at my side didn't see my foot coming, sorry to say the lad may not be having any kids anytime soon. I let him roll off as I fix my cuffs and look at her.

"Now is there anything I could do for you mi lady?" I ask with my peral white smile.

Rayah

I lean against Jace, closing my eyes.

Jackie

I flash a smile back at the guy and shake my head, "Nah, but thanks," I make sure my dress is fixed before looking back up at him.

Awkward.

Jace

I wrap an arm around Rayah and kiss the top of her head.

Ha! Round one goes to...Wait, that was just the prequel, wasn't it? This hasn't even begun... Damn.

I shift again, a mixture of bored and annoyed.

Balthier

"Well then, may I invite you in? you and Gray may have a bit more time to chat if you truly wish to mi lady." I said.

I bow as she walks in, like she was royalty held with utmost care. I wait for her to take a seat on the couch as I go get her and her friend some water. Coming back I set it on the table as I go and lean against the wall, Gray just getting back up and not looking to pleased.

"Balthier, you ******* *******, I should kill you for this." He said.

"I know you won't kill me, you need me, and whatever you've done to tick off the Ms. over here you well deserve." I said.

Rayah

I flash a smile at Jace and twine my hand with his.

Jackie

Well then...

He leads me in and me and Nic sit on the couch. He brings us water and I flash another smile. I look over at Gray.

"I should really be kicking your a*s, Gray," I tell him, chuckling.

"Then what are you waiting for? He chuckles.

I keep myself from punching his face off and sigh, "An explanation..." I lean back.

I smile back at Rayah and sigh.

I stay silent, sitting beside Jackie on the couch. The newer guy gets us a water and I take the time to just examine my surroundings.

Oh god...why do I have the feeling I'm about to go through hell?

Balthier

"Ah that reminds me, I forgot to exchange names." I said.

I stand and walk over in front of them, and bow my right hand on my heart, I hear the girl giggle as I do, I suppose that's a good sign for how smoothly I'm acting.

"They call me Balthier, son of the Love and Beauty Goddess. Aprodite. Might I ask your name mi lady?" I said.

Rayah

I smile and step out of the car when we get to his house, yawning.

Jackie

Oh yes.

I couldn't help but giggle, watching his every move, "J-Jackie. Daughter of the war and wisdom goddess, Athena." I smile. He looks at Nic in wait for his introduction.

Jace

I smile back at her and lead her in, "What do you want to do?"

She giggle and stutters at him and I resist the urge of bashing his face in for causing that out of her, feeling incredibly awkward and left out.

"Nic," I don't look at him, crossing my arms, "Just Nic."
