I nod and swallow, "We're getting there. Just hold on."

I glance at her, studying her as she crosses her arms, before looking forward, "Who?"

"Oh god..." I start crying, "I think somethings up with the twins..."

"The f*cking son of Hades," I reply, "I'm heading over to where he lives," I say, teleporting out of the car and onto the sidewalk. I swear he is GOING to pay...

Jace

I kiss away her tears and hold her close, "Shh, they're going to be fine. Just stay calm. We'll figure it out when we get there. We don't know. Just relax."

Jackie disappears and I follow, disintegrating and reappearing, invisible, behind her to follow. I need to watch this b*stard pay.

I nod, "It hurts though, Jay," I squeeze my eyes shut.

I chuckle but don't turn around, and keep walking, "I'm not dumb, Nic. I know you're following me. You don't need to hide yourself."

Jace

I set a hand on the side of her face and kiss her eyelids, telling Alyx to speed up.

I frown before smirking and revealing myself, "I never said you were dumb. I was thinking you would find it a little annoying if I didn't hide myself. Guess I came off as clingy instead. I apologize."

Rayah

I take deep breaths and hold myself even tighter, feeling lightheaded.

I smile and stop, taking his hand with a smirk, "What if I like clingy?"

Jace

I keep my grip on her, Alyx pulling into the hospital. I scoop Rayah up and carry her inside, taking her down the same path as before.

I smile and study her, "Then I can pull off clingy."

Rayah

He sets me down on one of the beds again and I close my eyes, taking a deep breath, "Please be okay..."I glance down at my stomach.

I nod, "Good," I continue walking, still holding his hand.

I sit in a chair beside her and take her hand, stroking the top of her palm with my thumb.

I smile and shake my head at her, walking at her side.

Rayah

I flash a smile as the nurse walks in, "What's up?"

I tighten my grip on my stomach and she nods, "Ah. Is it hurting?"

I nod, "Very much so."

She nods again, checking it, "The burns midly hurt it. They'll be fine. You just need to relax."

I smile back as we get to his house. I take a deep breath before knocking.

The nurse leaves and I look at her, biting my tongue as I smirk. Told you so.

We get to the guy's house and she knocks on the door. I wait at her side, ready to watch this go down.

I smirk back and shake my head at him, "Whatever."

I smile and kiss her hand.
