I finish up and expect applause, vowing to hurt someone if I don't get it.

There's a huge applause and I flash a mental smile, Good and thanks. Now get off the stage and gimme my body back.

Nic

God..you didn't even have to say so.

I head off stage and drag Jace somewhere no one can see. Once hidden, I stumble out and shake my head.

"Well, that sucked," I say, "Gonna go find Jackie now."

Nic comes out of Rayah and I take her in my hands, watching my brother leave us.

Rayah

I chuckle and watch Nic leave, "He was nothing like me. At all."

I give people their drinks and make one for myself, sighing.

Jace

I flash a smile and quickly kiss her, looking at the burn on my palm, "Nope."

I step up to the bar and order a drink, smiling at Jackie, "Hello there, stranger."

Rayah

I smile and kiss his palm, "I have a question."

I flash a smile back at Nic and sigh sarcastically, "I'm sorry sir but I must see an ID before I make your drink," I smirked.

Jace

I smile and look at her, "Okay, what's the question?"

I smile and sigh, "A water then, ma'am. Forgot my ID at home."

Rayah

I sigh, "What's up with the one kiss per lifetime thing? How come you never told me?"

I smile and nod, passing him a water bottle and taking a sip of my scotch, "How old are you anyways?"

I sigh and look up at where Nic when, "I didn't want to explain it. It's difficult, 'cause I'm technically not Avalian, but it works anyways. I...I just didn't want to freak you out about it being that."

I smile and take a sip of the water, "Old enough to drink, don't worry. You?"

I nod, sighing, "Okay."

I smile, "Twenty one," I reply, resting my arms on the bar.

I nod and kiss the side of her face, "Sorry. No more secrets."

I smile and lead him to the dancefloor, swaying to the music and closing my eyes.

I smile and wrap my arms around her as we dance, closing my eyes and setting my forehead against hers.
