I'm posting this reply because I forget things easily,

Some people have asked me how to post text-based smileys without activating the emoticons or full-out disabling them, so I thought I'd share the knowledge! Below is an example of what I mean:

:D vs.
:) vs.
:( vs.
;) vs.
:o vs.
:P vs.

The solution is simple: interrupt the code! Simply insert [i][/i], [b][/b], or [u][/u] (or whatever BBCode you want, really) between the smile.

Here is a typed out example:

Hello. When I copy paste something on YWS from any other app, the font is not copy-pasted. How to copy paste including the font?

@ForeverYoung299 Unfortunately you can not usually copy paste font type - I've sometimes seen people successfully copy-paste some types of font into the publishing center but I'm not quite sure what they're doing to do that.

To preserve your font style you can upload your text as a picture or use a site like fancy font generator online (which seems like it should be used sparingly because it messes with the site coding and often gives you an error report, but gets you cool fonts 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 or 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 )

You may have been in search for the list of all the YWS Smilies available, all in one place - well your search is over! I think this is the whole list of the smilies that one can use on YWS. Of course certain sections of the site also allow emojis from your phone or copy-pasted, but these ones are all the ones in the site-coding as far as I know.

(These are also available if you click "full reply" then "view more smilies" and then click through the list - and if you don't want to count the smilies in order to find the image code, just right click it, click "copy link" and then if you paste the url you will see the code at the end of the link)

If you want to use the images of YWS Gifts or YWS Trophies, you can always right click the image and choose "copy image address" -> if you then modify the image code with "[fimg=25,25] and end with [/fimg.] it appears that it makes the image small.

Some quick notes

• If defining your own color gradient, it will only work if it's a CSS color name and it has an accompanying light color. This can be a little counter-intuitive because some colors that you think would have a light version don't, like red. There's also some like steelblue and coral that do have light versions and you would never think of it.
• To mix color gradients up, remember to use that numeral 2 in the tag or else it won't work!

After some poking around, I believe I've found the full list of icons we can use on YWS! Check out https://fontawesome.com/v3/icons/ and simply use the word after "icon-"

For example, if you want the icon-book:

The max value for the bbcode size tag on YWS is 200, but if you want to make icons larger, you can use icon-4x. There's also icon-large (33% increase in size), icon-2x, and icon-3x.
