I opened my eyes and screamed. "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" "NO! PLEASE STOP! I ONLY WANT TO HELP YOU!" he cried. I stopped. Something about him seemed different. He seemed...nicer...friendlier and...more vulnrable.
John|In an Abandoned Cottage with Elvina|Night
I watched her scream and as she started to back away I called, "NO! PLEASE STOP! I ONLY WANT TO HELP YOU!" She stopped. Then she looked at me like a weirdo then started to smile. She finally was happy to be around me.
May The Blood of my Enemies Flow Like Rivers to the Sea
I laid there in a tree, waiting for Brooklyn to come back with her decision. As I waited, I thought about Sarah. Three days before her death, she entertained me for a change. She did something I never forgot- she sang to me. She sang all the songs she could possibly remember, all with such an angelic voice. When she was finished with her recital, I was rendered spellbound and speechless. It was the only time I ever heard her sing. After her death, I never heard her sing again. Back to the present matter, I wondered what Brooklyn truly thought of me. After hearing her speak of her pain, I find her as a kinred spirit. Knowing that she hates being used, I wanted to treat her with utmost respect. That was what she needed and deserved from someone just as wounded as her. We understood each other's pain, so what were the chances of us wanting each other?
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
I finished my shift. It was dark and it was raining outside, I grabbed my hoodie and put it over my head, Already soaking wet. When I got to the lakehouse I entered the house and threw off my hoodie. I went back outside, the rain hitting me like tears flowing down my hair and cheeks. "Draco?" I called for him.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I carefully climbed down the tree and went to Brooklyn. Taking her in my arms, I carried her inside the lakehouse where it was dry. She was wet, but not as wet as I was while I was in the tree. "I told you I'd wait for you and I haven't left the place since you went to the castle." I took her hands in mine. "Have you decided yet?"
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
I nodded. I touched the side of his face, he was wet, really wet. Why was he outside the whole time? "I'll go with you." I smiled. This was hard to say. I loved him, but I may need to relax about it though.

I held her close in my arms, trying not to choke. After a small while, I released her. It was hard to hold her when the both of us were soaking wet. "First things first, though. I need to have one last talk with the king before we leave. I was thinking of giving him a proper farewell this time."
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
"Yes, I need to also." I smiled and grabbedhis hand, bringing him back outside to go to the castle, I started walking and he was right behind me, holding hands.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I followed Brookyn with my hand still in hers. I couldn't help but feel more and more human as I went with her. I never felt so alive and human for forty years, since Sarah passed on. I decided I could cling to Sarah no more. She made me human in ways I would never understand, so I decided to finally let go of Sarah and move on with someone else. And that someone else was Brooklyn, the one vampire I could relate to.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
We arrived at the castle and I led him into the throne room where king Charles was. "Um, my king? Can We talk to you?" I asked slowly entering the room.

*Bare with me guys this is going to be a long post *
King Charles|Throne Room
I was in throne room relaxing when I heard to pairs of footsteps approaching. Draco and Brooklyn entered the room and quickly bowed before me. "My king, may we speak with you for a moment?" Brooklyn asked politely and I smiled at the girl. I nodded my head. "Draco you are here, is there something you need my friend?" I got up from my throne and walked over to them. Draco took a deep unneeded breath. "No my king, I just wanted to officially say goodbye and ask that we part on friendly terms." He seemed nervous and I chuckled. "Draco my old friend I would love nothing more than for us to part as friends." I turned my attention to Brooklyn who had grabbed his hand and held it tightly. "And do you my dear wish to go to the preserve with him?" I asked and she nodded. I smiled at her and held open my arms just moments before she flew right into them. "Shhh it's okay I give you both my blessing, go find happiness with each other." After another round of goodbyes and a promise on their behalf tyo visit soon they were on their way to the preserve.
Aurora|Twilight Park
Twilight Park was completely empty tonight, not a soul-or undead soul-was in sight. I walked up the hill where Christian and I had parted the other night. He stood at the top his back to me. He wore a grey button down, black jeans, and black motorcycle boots. He looked gorgeous. I walked up behind him. "The moon looks beautiful, doesn't it?" I asked. He chuckled and turned to me. "It does but I see something more beautiful in comparison," he said cupping my cheek. He leaned forward and placed a light kiss on my forehead. "Hello Aurora." I blushed. "Hello Christian, did you have something special planned for tonight or were we just going to stand here?" I asked and he gave a hearty laugh. "Well someone is impatient tonight. Yes I actually did have something planned for tonight, why did you think the park is empty I rented it out for the night." I stared at him in shock.[/i]Since when could someone rent out a public park?[/i] He gave me a sexy smirk and produced a picnic basket from out of nowhere. "How do you feel about a moonlight picnic?" He asked and I shook my head at him. He was believable. He led me over to a spot under a huge willow tree and set the basket on the ground while he fixed the blanket. When that was done he opened he picnic basket and produced a variety of sandwhiches, sodas, juices, cakes, pies and cookies. "Umm where you planning to feed a neighborhood tonight Christian?" I scoffed. He ducked his head embarassed. "I guess I did bring to much didn't I, it's just that I didn't know what you liked so I bought some of everything I guess." I smiled at him and picked up a half of a turkey and cheese sandwhich and bit into it. "Delicious." I said and he relaxed. "So you're not going to eat any of this are you?" He made a face and shook his head vigorously before producing a metal canister from the basket. It was my turn to make a face as I realized the liquid in the canister was most likely blood.
Two sandwhiches a bottle of orange juica and some cookies later I was about ready to bust. Christian look at me smugly. "So I take it the food was to your liking, yes?" I laughed as I sat up. "Yes it was actually my compliments to the chef." I laughed and he pulled me close to him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "May I kiss you Aurora?" He asked and I was momentarily stunned at his request. I didn't trust my voice so I gave a little nod and closed my eyes. I could feel his cool breath on me as he leaned in. He seemed just as nervous as I was earlier so i closed the distance between us. Compared to the light kiss the other night this kiss was amazing. I saw and felt fireworks behind it. It was fiery, passionate, and yet tender at the same time. I moaned and he pulled away. "Sorry." I said blushing. He laughed once. "Don't be, that was amazing." He said. Tell me about it, I'm still dizzy, I thought. He regained his composure and turned to face me again. "Umm, I have something for you that I think you might really want back." He said and I raised my eyebrows. "Come with me." He said helping me up. He pulled me onto his back piggyback style and started running at vampire speed to Cryer's Graveyard. He set me down and we started walking a little more. "What are we doing here?" I asked. He said nothing, he just brought us to a halt and pointed to a figure sitting on a log. It was dark and I bareley recognized the figure. "Daddy?" I gasped. My father's head snapped up. I ran to him and he caught me easily in his arms. "Daddy I thought the worst had happened, I thought-" I started but he cut me off. "Shhhh babygirl, it's alright, I'm fine and I'm here. Now I need you to listen to me real close and do as I say alright." I nodded. "In a few minutes I'm going to create a diversion, while I do that I want you to make like you're running away and while I'm fighting the vampire I want you to sneak up behind him and stake him, okay?" He said and I stared blankly at him. "What?"
We're all in the same game, just on differentlevels;Dealing with the same hell, only differentdevils.
Saying goodbye to King Charles was really hard to do. He was like my father but, I knew that going to the preserve would be best for me and Draco. I grabbed Draco's hand and led him to the door. I opened it slowly and walked out with him. I felt free but, something wasn't right, I just couldn't find out what it was. When we were as far away from the castle that we couldn't see it anymore, I turned to Draco. I stood on my tip-toes and kissed him lightly on the lips, enough to make me feel human again. I smiled and he kissed me back and I rested my head on his chest.

Aurora embraced her father, Christian let a lone tear fall from his eye. He felt warm inside for restoring the bond between father and daughter. He could see them whispering to each other. He couldn't bear to listen in and squelch the father-daughter moment. He leaned up against the willow.
I held Brooklyn in my arms, feeling more human as she set her head on my chest. I sensed she felt just as human as I was while she kept close to me. I couldn't help but sweep her off her feet and carry her like we were newlyweds. She was beautiful, like a very special diamond that was meant for me. As I carried her, I spotted Christian and her mortal lover. I silently hoped he didn't get to suffer the same pain as I did. Quickly setting it aside, I went on carrying Brooklyn away in my arms.
