Kimber~

I cut at the largest monster and let him fall beside me. Smiling I spun around to see Gem strike at him opponent twirling before he dealt a blow. Tyson managed a hit to the chest before bounding forward and striking the monster to his death.
"Three levels" Tyson stated falling to the ground in a cat like stance. Gem blinked at the ground before nodding "Two levels" He grinned up at me.
"Two too" I giggled scratching at my arm "Well at least I'm level three now instead of one" I scratched the back of my head turning to look at the sun that resembled a large glowing peach hiding behind black mountains.
"It's so pretty" I gasped covering my eyes as a ray of sun struck my eyes.
"Watch out!" I heard Gem scream. Turning slightly I saw a dark figure looming ahead of me, twirling A large fist was brought down striking the ground next to me. I jumped rolling away from the large fist my heart in my throat. I gasped at hte pain in my shoulder as I struck the ground. Tyson pulled off his heavy blade, roaring he rushed forward cutting at the beast. Drool dripped from it large teeth landing in puddles around Gem.
I heard Gem curse as he fell back in astonishment staring up at the large beast. It craned its head down towards Tyson's useless assult. Blowing tyson was flung back landing on the floor with a thud.
"Enough!" A sharp voice called. A girl jumped from the top landing on the floor, dark wings stretched from her back. A malicious smile playing across her young featured face.
"My monster will not harm you unless I command it" she said loudly.
I blinked at her getting on to my knees my heart racing "What do you want" I squeaked trying to act brave.
"I have a propersition" she said evenly "Do you guys want to be in a very exclusive guild"
I saw Gem get nervously to his feet shaking his head rappidly "No!" he said plainly.
"What kind of a guild" Tyson remarked blinking as he dusted himself off.
"It's called the Minotaurs guild"

Kaye~

I blinked at the players in front of me. A tall girls stumbled around nervously watching Argon, the best below me. I jumped off from his back landing on the floor softly. Straightening up my posture I tried my best at a nice smile.
"Yes, the minotaurs guild" I turned to stare at the youngest of the group.
"Very excusive" I said again nodding as they didn't reply. I sighed "well"
The girl began to shake her head but slowly stopping once the tallest boy threw her a look.
"We're not looking for guilds" The tallest boy muttered nodding he turned away from me.
The girl also nodded slightly turning. Something about her expression made it clear that she knew who I was.

Tyson~

Kaye. The most successful player killer in the whole game. She had been the one who had killed him the first time he entered "The World". I stared into her blood red eyes, trying to see if she would recognise me.
"Be warned, in refusing the Minotaurs guild request...I will have no choice but to hurt you" she smiled again, this time more fak than the last. I saw Kimber freeze up next to me, clutching at her neck.
"We don't want your invitation" Gem said slowly reaching for his weapon.
Kaye sighed, straightening up she sneered at us and shrugged. "What ever" she turned and began to walk away "Argon attack them"

Gem:

This is un... no, too real!

I tried to regain my feet. The monster was seriously whaling into
Tyson. "Ok," I whispered, "take this..."

In quick succession, I launched a Repth spell towards Tyson,
then scampered into combat range. Tiger Claws!

With a shudder, the monster stumbled. Ty quickly dispatched it.
"Thanks, man," he panted.

"You're welcome... Wow. I feel like I just did Tiger Claws.
As in, physically."

"Oh gosh..." Kimber slid down onto her butt. "I know what you mean.
If anyone wants to quit, I know another game."

I smiled. "Quitters never win; winners never quit."

Kimber~

I fell back on the floor, sighing loudly. I stared into the sky, watching the last of the red birds fly over the tree tops.
"Anyone else but me crapping themselves right now?" I asked stupidly, the image of the beast came into my head.
"No" Gem and Tyson said in unison. Gem sat down next to me staring down at the small village in front of us. Ty was up in one of the trees lounging against the hard wood.
"Well then, what do you want to do now" I began to stare at my shoes "Go to the village or hunt more monsters?"
"Village there is supposed to be an event on tonight" Gem muttered
I jumped up suddenly my heart racing with excitement. All thoughts about the beast vanished form my mind.
"What event" I began to jump on the spot giggling with glee.
"A hunting one I think or was it creating one" Gem blinked solemly "I can't remember"
"DO you want to go Ty?" I turned to see him slowly climbing out of the tree.
"I guess so" He shrugged, I turned towards Gem "Well?"
"Alright then" Jumping in the air I began to run towards the village squealing into the sky.

Rem-

I stood and stared at the fire display whizzing around the centre of Dun Morgh, the village that supposedly was holding an event. The woman underneath the blaze of fire struck her foot on the ground rythmically the fire dancing to her musical tune. Her face was outlined in the shadows making her look dark and intimidating. Turning away from her I listened to the bustling sound of eager players waiting for hte event to appear. I stared up at the board above our head, a small curtain his it from on viewers.

"Welcome to Dun Morgh" A cheery voice said next to me. I looked down to see a fish merchant waving freshly caught Trout in my face. The smell was repulsive, pushing his hand away I turned my head ignroing his scowl. His voice boomed through the crowd as he slowly pushed his way out of the thick.

"I heard it was supposed to be something big!" A stout man's voice echoed in my ears.
"The event?" A sly ladies voice replied
"Yes, a hunt or something. The Black Knights are even on guard this time. It is suppose to be so big, I can't believe it"
"The Black Knights?" she sounded baffled "The guardians of the game, are you joking me?"
"Now why would I do that" he scoffed, I turned away from their petty conversation to stare up at the board. 'The Black Knights' The words echoed in my mind. That wasn't a good thing, it would mean it would be a lot harder to loot peoples house whilst they run around trying to win prizes from the event.

Kimber~

I walked through Dun Morgh, the smell of daises wilting away as the strong smell of fish hit my nostrils made me gag. Placing my hand under my nose, I began to walk towards the large gorup in the centre.
"Don't do that" Gem hissed "You'll insult the fish merchants and then you'll have all kind of trouble on your hands" I stopped for a second staring around to se a stocky woman staring at me evilly from behidn her flower decorated stall. I let my hand fall and smiled nervously at her, dipping my head in a apology I quickly stumbled after Tyson.
"Would look at that" he pointed up at a shadowed figure hidden in the back admist the crowds. "Black Knights, this must be one heck of an event". I watched the Black Knight, sink back into the shadows his figure hidden away.
"Really where, I can't see anything" Gem began to jump up and down trying to see where the mysterious knight had left to.
"He's gone, just stop jumping around you are going to hit someone" Tyson snapped watching an old lady staring up at Gem. Gem pouted his lips crossing his hands across his chest.
"Dear all players of "The world"!" A large voice boomed over the ruckus. I stopped laughing at Gem and stared up at a fat expensively dressed man standing on one of the stalls roof's, next to the floating billboard.
"Welcome To Dun Morgh, a place where you can never be bored" I heard a group of people groan at his introduction "Just get on with it" A squeeky voice yelled from the back of the crowd.
"Alright fine fine" he waved his gem adorned hands at the crowd "I'll skip the introductory and get on with the event." He took in a deep breath a feew sweat beads running down his face. "What you've all been waiting for the great enveiling". Pulling down on the veil,a chorus of gasps ran through the crowds.
"Oh god no!" Gem gasped reading the billboard
"Anything but that!" Tyson screeched his voice meeting the many protests of the crowd.

A Bestial Haunter-- just wonderful.

"Look at it! How are we supposed to beat it?" Kimber whispered.

"I don't know. Those knees look like a good place to begin."

Tyson snorted. "Well, Navy Man, have you got any clever ideas?
If so I'd like to hear 'em."

Eden

"I could send Beetle out there," I offer. "But I don't know if I want to risk it. He might be powerful, but he's still relatively inexperienced. Should we turn back?" I imminently regretted saying that, because I didn't want the others to think of me as a coward. But, in reality, I was more scared then I had ever been in my life.

The picture of the Bestial Haunter painted sloppily on the billboard seemed to make more of an effect than it was already doing.
"Now where the hell could that be?" I asked blinking at it my heart in my throat.
"It's not in a very nice place" Tyson muttered scratching his head.
"I think we wouldn't last a chance against it" I muttered.
"They wouldn't have placed it up if we didn't have a chance!" Gem said trying to be optimistic. I blinked rappidly trying not to look like an idiot.
"Well you are being so hopeful and all what do you think we should do?" Tyson asked cocking his head to the side.
"Well first we have to figure out what teh prize is" Gem pointed up at the fat man. Blinking up at the jewel covered man he slowly grunted "The prize" he began stopping when he realised hardly anyone was listening. Soughing even louder he forced his voice into a yell "The prize for the person who get one of the Bestial Hunters scales will be a treasure chest" He moved out of the way to reveal a green gold chest standing behind him. "The actual thing inside is unknown but it is said to be rare".

Rem-

I could hear all the moans coming from people around me. The lights above me flickered in their globes as a gust of wind wripped through the town. Turning slightly I began to push myself through the crowd, shoving people out of the way.
The only thing I had had my mind on was getting the rare orb the Dun Morgh watch tower guard had salavged from corpses just yesteday. Staring up at the rock foundation I nudged past someone gruffly sending them stumbling back.
"Hey watch it!" A girls voice squealed protestingly. I looked up to see a white haied girl staring angrily up at me. The two males next to her turn towards me. Ignoing the girl I kept walking forward towards the watch tower. I could hear the sound of rumbling coming from the crowd as they began to run off trying to find the scales.
"As easy as taking candy from a baby" I tured to see if anyone was look and ducked into the watch towards running stealthily up the stairs.
I spy!

*Luna*

" I don't think so, guys. I think we should take this," I stepped towards the tele pad," I mean, what do we have to lose?"
" Um, or lives," Eden whispered.
" I'll always revive you. Honestly, this is a once in a lifetime situation," I looked at Eden and Rose," and I don't want to do it alone."
" I'm with you, Luna," Peri yelled, hanging from my necklace.
" That's only because you're afraid to get down, Peri." He scrambled up my necklace, onto my head.
" True, so very true." I shook my head and laughed.
" Well," I mumbled, biting on my lower lip," I'm going in. I just hope you guys follow."
" Yeah!"
" Shut up, Peri. You're ruining the moment." I rolled my eyes then threw a weak smile at Rose and Eden. After mouthing 'bye-bye', I stepped on the tele pad.

I sigh, thinking everything through. Even if we did die, it would just be like a game, wouldn't it? These weren't are real bodies. Back at home, I was still on my couch. Maybe I could use a little adventure. I follow Luna onto the pad.

Rose,

I watched as both Luna and Eden dissapeared. I glanced around me at the mini boss who was still lumbering around catching his arm. A little number appeared at the top of the pad. A count down before it dissapeared. 10, 9, 8. What did I do. I had no idea what would happen if I stepped on the pad, and I had come so far in the game. 7, 6. I didn't want to give it up. Not yet. 5, 4.

"Oh Damn it!" I said and stepped onto the pad. A strange whiring sensation formed in the pit of my stomach and then I couldn't breath as it felt like I was being pulled through a tube. I shut my eyes not wanting to see where I was.

"Rose?" I recognised Edens voice. I opened my eyes. Rose, Luna, Eden and Peri were all standing staring at me. Behind them was a hut, it had to be the guild. I smiled, we were ok! Thank goodness. And now we may have a good chance at getting the rarest item in the game, whatever that was.
Thinking about what you COULD achieve will get you no where. You've got to chase your dreams.

Gem:

"I do have an idea, really."

"Oh, yeah?"

I squared my shoulders and glared at Tyson.
"Yeah. We let another team take the scales, then steal 'em."

Kimber gaped. "You'd steal them? But that means
they lose out, we get no XP..."

Tyson smiled. "No experience like near death.
I say we fight it, while you, Gem, get the scales."

"Why do I have... oof!"

I heard an outraged squeal.

"Ty! How could you!" Kimber was glaring at him.
"Are you all right, Gem?"

I grunted something that might've been "Yeah."
