Eden

"I see," I say quietly, taking out an arrow from my quiver. The beetle who was at my side croons. I turn.

"I almost forgot you were there!" I exclaim. I pet his back and gesture for him to crawl up my arm. "It's alright. With this guy around, we don't have anything to worry about."

The others nod, not too convinced. I shake my head, getting ready to enter the cave.

I sharpened my claws on a rock outside the dungeon.
" Okay, guys," I smiled," this dungeon may be pretty newb," a few of them scoffed," well, re-phrase that: this dungeon may be scary hard, but we must all work together. Peri, lose the noob weapon, you're not a level five anymore!" I threw him a warrior's light sword from my inventory," Knock yourself out." I took out the dungeon key and walked towards the door," Oh, you all have to join my team first." I smiled lightly as they joined -what was the team name again?- and I opened the dungeon door.
As soon as we stepped in we were greeted by a Level 40 Shadow demon, I swiped at it and it dissaperred. A few gasps from the others, but I polietly ignored them. I just needed money anyway.

Rose,

It felt good to be with this huge group, and to go and get the most powerful weapon in the game, now that would be an excellent bonus. I raised my staff as more shadow demons came out of the dungeon I spun around hitting one squarely in the chest, it evaporated instantly. I turned to see that Luna had taken care of the other one. She smiled at me,

"High five!" She hit my hand.

"May I kill the next shadow demon?" Eden asked. I nodded, aware that I may have to step in and help. We advanced forwards a little way, always careful to look in the shadows. A lone shadow demon burst out from behind a archway. Eden stepped forward calmly. I gave Luna a questioning look. She shrugged and we turned back to watch. The little beetle on Eden's shoulder crawled down and faced the shadow demon. I laughed mockingly. Eden didn't falter. She closed her eyes and I watched in amazement as the beetle scurried towards the demon and up onto it's shoulder, it then crawled into its ear. The demon squirmed in discomfort and the agony.

"Eden? What are you doing to it?" I asked. She didn't open her eyes but she responded in a whisper,

"I'm making my beetle friend eat it from the inside out." Peri gagged.

"That's gross!" The shadow demon was soon no more, and as the beetle crawled back to Eden I noticed that it had grown a little. She smiled,

"He will only get stronger."

I covered my mouth and looked away as Eden's beetle did its dirty work.
" Oh, Eden," I shook my head," that's repulsive." She just smiled and continued forward, before we went through the door leading to part two, I turned to face them.
" Now, the shadow demons were easy, but these are a bit harder. No, they are the same level as the demons, but they're tricky. Got it?" They nodded and I chewed my bottom lip nervosly.
" Luna," Rose laughed," were big kids." I opened the door and we stepped into the clearing. It was quiet and the space was lit by one, dim, murky light bulb.
" There's nothing here," Eden whined. I slowly extened my claws.
" Come on, Luna," Rose criws," is this some kind of- Ah!" I turned around and, sure enough, a Corner Leech was on her head, and her health was slowly decreasing. I ran over and burned it off of her.
" I told you they were tricky," I glanced around," Peri? Peri! Where are you?" A leech jumped in front of me and I stepped on it. I booted up my hover shoes and floated in the air," Guys, new mission. Find Peri." I snapped on my playersense glasses and looked around. Rose was kicking leech ass, Eden was doing her beetle thing, and Peri- I gasped and threw myself at the ground. Peri was buried under a mountian of leechs. I slashed through the top layer and burned through the rest. When I got to him, he was barely alive. I fetched one of my major health potions and handed it to him.
" Are you okay?"

Rose,

I threw a leech at a tree and slashed through another with my sword. It felt good. The I saw Peri, he had taken the health potion and Luna was covering him but his he was taking too long to recover. I ran forward and ducked down beside him.

"Hold the gem." I said to him holding out my staff. "I'm going to help recover your health." The gem glowed blue as it always did and I shut my eyes to concentrate. Luna was holding off the bugs in in front of us but I was worried that more of them would come out of the trees behind me. I heard Peri scream, surprisingly high for a guy but I guess he had just nearly died. My eyes flew open a leech was approaching us. I kicked out at it, making sure that Peri still could hold the staff. More of them followed. Eden saw what was happening and set her bug, which was now quite big on some of them, kicking the others out of the way.

I went back to healing Peri. His health bar soon hit full and I smiled.

"Thanks" He said. "I thought I was done for!" Luna and Eden finished dealing with the leeches, I stood up and offered a hand to Peri, he took it and I pulled him up.

Name: Gemini (Gem)
Age: 14
Appearance: actually, very down-to-earth (no pun)
as far as "The World" goes. Brown hair, mismatched eyes
(one is green, the other blue) with a faint tatto on his left wrist.

Build: stocky, little on the tall side.
Clothing: Like a modern Naval outfit,
except with blue trim and a captain's hat
that features an hourglass emblem.
Skin tone: suntanned, but not burned.

Abilities: basic healing, two or three physical skills.
Think "Repth" with "Staccato" and "Tiger Claws."

I could feel the cold air matting in my hair, the sound of cries as a group of people went through the dungeon.
"Thanks" A small voice muttered "I thought I was done for", smiling I ducked behind a rock grinning at my hands. This was going to be fun, I could feel the shadow demons looking at me more intently. Grabbbing at my swords, I began to slide them from their hilts ignoring the small sound it made.
A girl walked into the light staring around at the shadow demons.
"C'mon guys there are some ahead" She raised her weapon looking back at a small group waddling from out behind the corner.
Roaring she rushed forward licking at her lips, grinning I jumped out bounding towards her.
"Watch out!" A child's vice screamed, twirling I brang my blade down striking at her amrs. She rolled out of the way her mouth wide agape. Lunging forward our weapons struck together the sound wrung in the cave walls.
"Demons!" I screamed "Attack the others!"

Placing my hands behind my head, I strolled slowly trough the streets listening to the voices of people around me. The bird abovemetweeted noisily before retreating to a bread stand behind me.
"Did you hear" A sharp voice hissed "Calbb, the guild master, is recruiting people" I frowned slightly.
"Really?" ANother more girly voice said in disbelief.
"Yeah, I mean he hasn't for the past seven years..." I stopped at the draw bridge staring at the clear blue water.
"Please just leave me alone" I turned to see a girl being pushed into a wall, two heavily built men held daggers out into her stomach.
"A level one" I muttered, Picking mysefl up I dug my fingers into my pockets walking towards them.
"...experience baby, it's the way of the world" the tallest one laughed raspily.
"Hey!' I shouted stopping behind them, they both whirled around to stare at me incredulously.
"If you want someone to fight, you should pick on someone your own level"

Uh-oh, I thought. Let me just give him a hand...

"Yo, sailor boy!" One of the thugs had spotted me.
"Keep out of our way, hear? We aren't doing no harm."

I snarled, "Like heck! Hands off her, boys!"

The thug grinned. "This'll be so ea-"

Staccato!

He gaped as my character went out of control,
hacking and slicing like mad.
But, like its name suggested, Staccato was a very
brief attack.

Staggering, he looked for help from his comrades.
They broke and ran the way all bullies do when challenged.

"Hey, thank you!" the girl squeaked.

I sheathed my weapon and smiled at her. "No problem.
I'm Gem; what's your name?"

Gem-

This is getting old. I can take him, no skills, as long as he does the same.
I lunged, slashing out at him. He blocked my attack with a skillful twist.

Ok... this is new. Just before I could strike again,
another character stepped in. He grabbed the bully by his shirt.

"Break it up! I warn you, I will call an administrator!"

What kind of crazy game is this? I thought there was supposed
to be a rule against PvP combat outside the arena!

Kimber~

I felt my knees buckle as I collapsed towards the ground rubbing at my neck. I staired up at the sailor boy as he said his name.
"I'm kimber" I gaped for air slowly getting to my feet. Gem grinned at me steadying my asw I stumbled towards him.
"What did those thugs want?" He asked me, blinking his mismatched eyes sparkled in the sun light.
"Experience points I guess" I rubbed my forhead "Thanks for helping me."
I saw the other guy who had also stood up for me shrug lightly. "Thankyou to" I muttered towards him. Gem turned around blinking as if it were the first time he had seen him standing driectly behind him.
The boy shurgged lightly placing his hands behind his head.
"What's you name?" Gem asked
"Tyson" he said plainly
"Hey!" I grinned at Gem and Tyson "Wanna help me level"

(Note): Peri's a healer, so restoring health isn't really a problem for him, less he runs out of magic or can't use it. You've got to give him that because he's not good for much else :p

*Peri*

Peri shivered and scrunched his face whilst he scraped off the goo the leeches had left behind.

'Revolting,' he hissed to himself. Beetles crawling inside brains, being swallowed in a pile of leeches, how did he end up in this situation. He made a new mental note; ten leeches drain faster than he can heal. He had to admit that he was liking his new party though. They where much less upkeep than the last, and it was cool that they didn't just leave him as bait. 'They're all gone, right?' He looked around, squinting into their shadowed surroundings. Rose nodded.

'Wrong, wrong!' He screeched.

'What?' Eden asked. Peri squinted harder into the dark.

'Are you blind?'

It was there, it was moving, how could they not see it? He put his hands together, then used his forefingers to draw a cross shape in front of him, casting a temporary shield.

One step, two step. As he got closer it seemed to move and fade. He looked back, checking the others where still close behind, until he realised that what he saw wasn't another leech, not even close.

He widened his eyes, and as he moved in closer he realised that where he was walking, the air was now thicker and seemed to distort the surroundings, like how the heat in summer makes the horizon move.

'Peri!' They followed him forward. He looked back, and walked straight into something which only a few moments ago had seemed invisible.

'Gaaah!' He screamed and ran as fast as he could, behind the rest of the team and jumped on Luna's back. 'Sorry! I think I made it mad.'

It wasn't until the creature started to move forward that he realises what he'd run into- that was just the foot. He dared not look up to see the full size of what they where about to face.
We were born to be amazing.

Eden

I was smiling, petting my beetle.
"See, you are much stronger then you get credit for," I say, winking. I'm not paying too much attention to what is going on. I hear my name in the distance. But by then it is much too late. I feel monumental pain, and as I look to my right there is a gaping fountain of blood where my arm once stood. With the little energy I have left, I see the gigantic creature. But I feel as though I'm fainting.

" Dammit," I scream as I run towards Eden and pratically shove a regeneration potion down her throat," you've gotta be more careful," I hiss. I jump back just as a foot comes down not to far on the left of me. Peri had taken up residence on my head.
" Peri has awoken the mini boss-" He pulled on my hair.
" That's mini?!" I nodded and booted up my hover shoes.
" Yes, now keep on guard. He's no mere Demon or Leech, he's a level 45. Make sure you keep on guard 'cause-" The boss smacked me into the dungeon wall and I grunted. That took away twenty whole health points. I swore under my breath then laughed.
"- as you can see, he likes sneak attacks." I ran towards the boss and slashed through one of his arms and quickly drank a handful of his blood.
" Ewwwww," Rose squealed," don't do that." I smiled and dogged another attack.
" It's a cheat, a glich in the game. If you drink the blood," my claws grew longer and my power and health increased," you get a boost for the rest of the stage." I slashed at the monster's stomach," it only works for mini bosses though. Sucks right?" I pushed Eden out of the way of another attack," Well, go on. Drink up. I can't do this alone 'ya know."

"Thank you," I say, trying to get up. The blood dries from my arm, but I still dont' feel well. I roll over, where I puke out dark red vomit. One thing I notice is the amount of realism that they put into these games. I can feel pain now, as if this were real. The beetle comes to comfort me, and I smile.

"I don't think I can do this," I say weakly. "But I'm not going to give up." I snatch another potion from Luna and take a deep breath. Now I feel a bit more refreshed. "Let's go. Maggots will probably soon be here to eat up my puke."

Rose,

I downed some of the mini bosses blood. I hadn't realised about this glitch. I was beginning to be really glad that I had found this group. I dodged a foot and ran past the giant.

"Come on, theres no point fighting him. It's better to run away. He may be big but hes heck of a dumb. Trust me I have done this level before." Luna shook her head.

"Remeber that ultimate weapon. Well it could be anywhere. Including indside him." She said pointing. I gritted my teeth.

"Fine, but it will have to be, me you and Edens beetle. Peri can stacd at the side and heal us if we get hurt." Luna nodded. I took up my staff and swung it around my head. Eden shut her eyes and directed her beetle. We let the bettle enter the wound in the arm and do a little of its gross work first. Once the giant roared in weakness I nodded at Luna and we advanced.

"Stop!" Someone shouted. "If you want to get that ultimate weapon then you should join the Eclispse Hunters Guild." A figure appeared out of the shadows. Eden opened her eyes and her beetle came scuttling back to her. "Here," he said and he threw a telepad onto the floor. "Your choice. But they could help you." He backed away into the shadows.

"Hey!" I shouted running after him. I went into the trees were he had been but he had already gone. "Telebeamed away." I satated as I came back to the others. "Well, are we gunna take the telepad?" I asked looking aroiund at them all.
