*Peri*

The guild was huge, and full of people who looked like they where there for business.

'No trading or marketing items. No hounding other players to join your guild. Thank you. No trading or marketing items...' an NPC by the door muttered over and over again. He looked like a normal "Guard NPC", except bored. Peri had to stare at him for a few seconds to be sure it was an NPC. It was funny that they even gave those guys a bored expression.

'Isn't there someone we have to ask about joining the guild? Like, a leader or a recruiter?'

'That person should be here,' Rose said, looking around for the stranger we'd seen earlier. 'Maybe...' Then came the first beeping sound, and another, several consecutive rings.

'Oh hey, I got a message,' Rose said aloud, and took out her Digivice (a contraption in the game that can be used for mail, announcements and stuff.) Luna pulled hers from her pocket.

Peri looked down at the screen. 'An invitation?'

'To the Eclipse Hunters Guild.' Eden looked over at the counter. 'That means we just have to accept and we're in, right?' She was right to question it. The whole thing seemed a little too suspicious, and a little too simple.

'Come on,' Peri tugged on Luna's hair. 'Let's join. Joining a guild never killed anybody, not that I know of. And we can get clues on this ultimate weapon thing. Let's go, let's go!'

'Not so hard.' Luna said, pulling his hands from her hair.

They pushed their way through the crowds towards the counter, where a smiling NPC turned to them.

'How can I help you?'

'We want to respond to a guild invitation.'

'One moment please.' The brown of her eyes suddenly turned grey and she stopped moving for a few seconds, then flickered back to life. 'Task complete. You are now members of the Eclipse Hunters Guild. Please check your Digivices for details of status and rank.'
We were born to be amazing.

"Ty! How could you!"

As Kimber spoke, my headset slipped loose. Blasted thing...
I slipped it back on, but not before I saw the wheelchair. The one I'd
been sitting in for years, it seemed.

"Gem? What's wrong?" Her voice sounded distant.

"Sorry. My gear slipped, that's all..." If only.

"Well, let's get on with this hunt!" She charged ahead to where- hopefully- the monster lurked. With a glance at Tyson, I started after her.

Rose,

I checked my Digivices as I heard another beep.

"That was fast." I commented to no-one in paticular. Luna nodded.

"This guild must be powerful." I looked at the screen the following message greated me.

Rose
You are now a member of the Eclipse Hunters Guild.
You will help us in the search for the ultimate weapon.

Rank: Novice Guild Member.
Status: Search Team - Your search team consists of the guild members Peri, Luna, and Eden.

Your job is to search the dungeons for anything that could lead us to the ultimate weapon. Please see the guild master for your first assignment.

"Novice!" I spat and Luna nodded. "We are not novices!"

"I know." She said. "But lets just go along with it, we might get the ultimate weapon this way. And at least we are all together as a search team." Eden nodded.
Thinking about what you COULD achieve will get you no where. You've got to chase your dreams.

He looked around over the heads of the other players, searching for anyone who might look like they just teleported out of a cave.

'Who's this guildmaster guy? Is he a player or an npc?'

'I'm guessing he's a player, if that's who brought us here.'

'First assignment!' Peri said aloud. 'Find the guildmaster?'

'Fantastic,' an unfamiliar voice said, his voice filled with sarcasm. The group turned to a shady looking character clothed all in black. 'You, are the new recruits?' He shook his head. 'The guildmaster doesn't talk to the lower ranks, so that makes you my problem. Now for your first mission. Go up the mountains in the south west, there's rumours of a boss on the third mountain. Find out what if it's really there, and whatever else you can. For binary's sake, don't try to fight it.'

Lower levels? I puffed up like a blow fish but deflated instantly when I realized the GM must have been like, at least, 100+.
" Southwest mountains," I shrugged," I've been there," I scoffed as we made our way back to the telepad thing-a-ma-bobber.
" Do you guys want to finish this dungeon or turn around," my necklace gave a profound tug as Peri settled on it. Rose and Eden started back towards the way we came.
" I'm guessing go back," I followed after them.

The mountains were huge and snowcapped. There were few other players around, no one liked to dwell around here.
" Well," I started, kicking at the snow on the ground," there it is." I glanced at Eden.
" It's huge," she gasped. Rose laughed.
" That it is my friend. That it is." Peri burrowed into my hair.
" It's cold," he said, teeth clicking together. I laughed and started towards the dungeon entrance.
" Everyone ready?" Two nods and a tug of my hair confirmed that it was okay to activate the dungeon.

Gem:

I really, really wanted to bail out. But that would be like deserting my friends.
Or, almost friends.

It didn't take long to find the monster, as you can imagine. Several characters were clustered around it, taking ineffective swipes.

"Bah. We can do better than that! Gem, you're our cleric.
Kimber, help me take this thing down!"

There he goes again. I shot a glare at Tyson's back.

We defeated the monster easily enough. One of the other players
gaped, then ran over to shake Tyson's hand. How were we supposed
to fairly share the loot? I wondered.

Kimber~

I jumped up and down excitedly next to Tyson and Gem. They both seemed frazzled enough from the fight. Tyon held the scale protectively under his right arm shaking other characters hands and gloating about the battle. I laughed at his terms grinning at the others players as they gave quick glances towards me.
"We did it!" I cheered at Gem grabbing his hands and pulling him around Tyson in circles. He gave a large smile following in step as we nearly nocked down all the players congratulating Tyson.
"We won we won! Lets go get our prize!" I bounded off my heart hammering...I hope it is something good!

Tyson-

I watched from under my eyelashes as Kimber and Gem skipped around the group laughing and giggling loudly. I looked down at my shoes and scuffed at the dirt.
"You are so talented" A low level awed blinking her grey eyes. I nodded, turning my attention back to Gem.
That stupid little sailor! He thought he was so good with his fancy pants and large grin, I bet I could wipe that smile off his face in a second. I shook my head silencing the voice.
"We won, we won!" Kimber shouted, I watched as she ran off towards the village her hair flapping in the wind. I watched as Gem followed after her, lagging by a few steps.
"Hey wait up guys, I have a scale" I pushed past the admirers and ran after them my heart throbbing.
Kimber stopped adrubtly in front of the fat man, speaking quickly about the kill jumping up and down excitedly.
Gem stopped next to her nodding his eyes wid as he tried to look for our prize. As if I was going to give it to him, he didn't do much anyway....at least I thought! I never really paid attention to him anyway.
"Congratualtions young group, you have killed the beast without breaking a sweat!" THe man chuckled his falbby chin shaking. "I have no choice but to hand over the prize for recognition...Tyson, Kimber and Gem", I turned to see KImber beaming. Gem was staring at me suspiciously.

**Now I think is a good time we all get asked to be in the Eclispe guild, because we have a high name for killing the monster, so the guild seems interested in us. And @ Stori, I was thinking Tyson and Gem should be sort of like rivals (I think that it already happening anyway).

Kimber~

I stared at the treasure chest the mayor of Dun Morgh pulled out from behind him. Placing it in front of Gem he grinned at Tyson.
"Open it, I bet you'll be happy with the result" He said cheerfully.
Tyson crouched down the green treasure chest and pressed his hand to the golden lock. Gem sighed making a face at the back of Tyson's head. I grinned at him as I watched Tyson pull back the lid slowly. I began to jump on the spot unable to keep back my excitement.
"Hurry up would you!" I cooed taping at Tyso's shoudlers.
"Be patient" He laughed throwing back the lid. Gold light shine upwards blinding anyone close enough. I clamped my fingers over my eyes hissing in pain.
"Bright" I heard gem hiss, blinking I opened my eyes to see Tyson reaching in to the chest. He pulled it out the smile on his face dropping as he brang out a bland looking scroll.
"That's it" said plainly.
"Open i first it could be something like learning a new move or giving you extra stats" Gem said mechanically staring at the scroll with interest. Tyson shrugged slipping his finger under the scroll opening the parchment opened falling back on to the street.
"What is in it?" I asked frowning as I tried to see past Tyson's shoulders
I heard Gem gasp as he stared at it his eyes widening the smile on is face drooping.
"We did it all for nothig!" Tyson screeched throwing the parchment on the floor. Gem stumbled backwards shaking his head in fury. I dived towards the ground snatching it up before the curious prime minister.
"It's blank" I mummbled staring at the long roll of blank yellowing parchment.

**Yet again I have more to add to the plot which I forgot terribly to write at the beginning. (I am such an idiot) :? Anyway, I wanted to say that no one knows where the artefact is okay. They only have clues, the artefact is hidden and only the chosen one can awaken it. So just remember that, the Eclipse Hunters guild does have the latest clue though so yeah! Sorry again!

Tyson-

I fell back angrily kicking at the ground.
It had been a complete waste of time, this was crap.
"You set us up!" I shouted at the mayor.
Kimber stared at the parchment biting into lip, Gem still in disbelief.
"I do no such thing!" The mayor shouted "I wasn't even aware that the scroll was the prize!"
"What do you mean?! You do host this thing don't you!" I retorted throwing myself to feet.

Rose,

We entered the dungeon. I was annoyed at being called a lower level and I had done this dungeon before.

"Lets show that level 100+ loser." I muttered to Luna. She nodded and we looked around. It was strangely quiet. No-one was about and there were no enemys or monsters.

"Where is everyone?" Eden asked. I shrugged and Peri looked worried. I raised my staff cautiously, one of the powers I had was detectiong hotspots, it drained my energy the longer I kept it up but it would enable me to detect living creatures in this dungeon. I shut my eyes.

"Rose? What are you doing?" Eden asked anxiously. I didn't answer I muttered to myself and my vision changed. I scanned the landscape, there were no bright white hotspots yet. I could make out some trees and other plants but no animals. I did a double take as I saw a bright white figure, it was definately human and it was holding something. A weapon probably. I followed them as they walked away from us. I Gasped as I saw what they were headed towards. A group like ours but bigger and I had a hunch that they were searching for the weapon as well.

"What? what is it?" Luna asked me. I cut off the vision and looked at her.

"Another group, 20 strong." She gasped too.

"What do they want?"

"The same as us most probably. I don't know whether any of you heard, but when I was in the guild I heard mention of another. I can't remember what it was called. But there is another guild and it's clearly bigger than ours."

Gem:

Empty. How could it be empty? I bit back a particularly foul swear word.
"Come on, Gem. We're not waiting around here!" Kimber pulled me away.

We found a quiet spot and sat down. Drumming her heels on the ede of the
platform, she muttered, "This was a total cop-out!"

"Not total." I spoke quietly. "Our reputation went up with this event.
I wouldn't be surprised if we start getting guild requests."

"Huh. You have a point." In an abrupt change of subject,
she asked, "What's your real name?"

What? We just met a few days ago!

"It's ok, you don't have--"

"Christopher," I muttered.

Kimber~

I stared out at Gem or should I be calling him Christopher from under my eyelashes. He turned and grinned at me "So, I told you mine. Now what is your name?" He grinned again.
I smiled at him "Alison" I began to scratch at the dirt with my shoe. "But everyone just call me Ally"
"Ally ha. Do you mind if I call you that instead of Kimber?"
I shook my head "No at all unless you let me call you Chrissie" I jumped to feet whirling around to smile at him.
"No way, you are not calling me Chrissie!" He retorted jumping to his own feet.
"What's wrong with Chrissie, Chrissie?" I teased. He jumped for me, I moved out of the way quickly though was still dragged towards the floor. I rolled to my feet giggling.
"Hey Tyson!" I screamed at him, I watched as he whirled around blinking at me. "Guess what I have a new nickname-" I felt a hand clamp over my mouth and pull me back.
"Don't tell him!" Gem hissed in my ear. I began to squirm laughing loudly.
"Why not!"
"Just don't okay" I stopped squirming to see him staring at Tyson.
"What's wrong?" I asked as his hands dropped away from my mouth.
"Nothing" He said forcing a smile "I just don't want him knowing"
I shrugged "Fair enough" I skipped off towards Tyson stopping beside him. I whirled around calling Gem to follow. He sighed placing his hands behind his neck and walking ever so slowly.
"I can't believe this!" Tyson screamed "All for nothing!"
"We had a great time didn't we?" I said plainly
"Are you insane!?" Tyson snapped
"How about you stop your whinging and give the scroll to me. If you don't want it I'll keep it"
Tyson glared at him before shrugging. "What ever" He tossed the scroll over his shoulder making sure it hit the floor.
