Akira

It seemed wrong. The way this man looked at her, utterly human, displayed the scene of innocence. But why would it seem that the rest of the mutants wanted to crush this innocence. They wanted to eliminate it. But why eliminate the only hope they had?

Akira realized at this moment, looking down on this man, that she was wrong. It was these people that should win this battle. It was indeed their fault for causing this heavy pollution and mutations. It was them who created the chemicals and destroyed their own planet because of their own greed. She had hated them for that. But the thing was, looking at this man, she realized that they were trying to fix their mistakes. They felt guilt. They were not heartless. They were not monsters.

Looking up the cliff face, she vowed that she would help them. This nonsense had been going on for long enough, and though once her mind was clouded, it wasn't any longer.

Touching the wall uncertainly, her hand slightly melted into it, sticking to it. She ended up pulling herself up off the ground, sticking to the wall. It seemed the water had melted her illusions. She couldn't use them, but the moisture had made her form slightly melted and stickier. A trick she remembered in the beginning. She felt much weaker in this state, but this seemed the only way out of this place. She saw the tree roots jutting in and out of the rock face and new that if she could reach them one at a time, she would be able to make it up the rock face.

Turning to Daniel, she gestured him over.

"You are going to have to hold on to me. We are going to try to climb this rock face."

He seemed to look at her confused, but when she climbed a bit higher on the rock face, her hands and feet sticking to it, he briefly nodded and climbed onto her back unsteadily. Obviously incredibly unsteady. Akira felt herself hoping that he would have enough strength to hold on, for she did not wish for him to die.

He seemed surprised when he touched her, the texture of her skin odd, but that didn't stop him. He was quick the burden, probably weighing a bit more than herself but she knew she could make it.

When he was holding tight enough, she started her climb up the rock face, slowly and surely, every once and a while asking Daniel if he was alright and if he needed a break. He held on, sure enough, and they ended up reaching a small platform halfway up that Akira used as a break point.

"Do you have any idea where your friends are?" Akira hissed, looking at him as he slouched against the rock face, hand to his head as if he had a pulsing head ache.

"I know they are up there."

"Well, that is obvious." Akira rolled her eyes and stretched a little bit before she decided to finish the rest of the climb.

-------------------

I was looking at Akira's profile and read that she could climb walls, and I was like, 'that would have been useful when she was originally stuck on the wall' but I decided it is as long as she it wet she can. Her illusion skills are technically stunted also. ;)

*Sorry it took me so long to post. My computer was being a pain, and I've been really busy. But anyway, here's my post*

Calli

I cocked my head. I could've sworn she just said "mom." Then again, my ears loved to play tricks on me it seemed. That girl, Kit, she was just standing there. Suddenly on edge, I turned to Burns and said, “I’m gonna find Daniel. Obviously you have this under control.”

“No, stay here,” Burns said harshly.

“Why?” I complained, crossing my arms over my chest. Zire seemed in a trance watching that Kit girl, so I doubted he’d even know I was gone. So what was Burns’ problem?

“It’s not a good idea to go running off alone. Especially not with what you did to Azul,” he said.

“Maybe not, but if I see Azul again, I can handle myself,” I retorted.

“You’ve got a hot head, y’know that? Just trust me on this one and stay with us,” Burns said.

“It isn’t like you guys even need me here,” I grumbled, rolling my eyes and leaning against a tree-trunk. I kept my eyes on that Kit girl, not really even sure what was going on. She seemed to be talking to that second figure. I couldn’t see anything, but out of the couple words I caught, the voice was definitely female. But how could her mom show up? It didn’t even make sense.

That was when I felt the strong presence of a lot of water, not far off. My brow furrowed; it hadn’t been that strong before. I’d noticed a faint presence of water, but it was there only briefly, and it was somehow not polluted. It didn’t appear that Burns or Zire even realized it, but I did, and it frustrated me that I couldn’t pinpoint it yet. And how could that much water just suddenly vanish without a trace?

*okay? sorry if it's lame, but it's all I could think up right now. Not exactly sure what's going on with Kit, so yeah, I tried *
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.

Daniel

We continued our climb up the slope. My mind was still hazy, and I passed in and out of consciousness, but I somehow managed to keep my grip.

Eventually, we neared the top of the slope. I suddenly was dazed out of my half awake state when I was jerked violently. The mutant was hanging by one hand on the cliff edge.

Great, not again,I thought. What I didn't know was that the mutant's hand had dried, and she had lost the ability to climb.

I didn't know what to do. I was helpless, and unless seriously barfing was of use, I couldn't do much.

Suddenly, the sickening swaying stopped. I felt myself being dragged up a gentle slope, and left at the top.

It took me a moment to realize I must have altered the earth yet again. I had made a slope to the top of the cliff from the point we were hanging. I hoped my mind would stop doing this, because it didn't make me feel any better internally.

"There, we're even," I mumbled. I heard some voices just past the treeline right before I passed out again.

*Okay, no more earth powers for Daniel, I promise. :P *

Burns,

After my argument with Calli, which Kit and the person she is calling "Mom" don't seem to hear, I decide to deal with this the hard way. I stride right up to Kit, and shake her.

"Kit! What the hell is going on?" Nothing happens. It's as if I just don't exist to Kit. Zire comes up and starts pleading with Kit. Still, nothing happens.

I turn to Calli.

"This has GOT to be a mutant trick. I don't have any other explanation. You might get your wish to fight Azul before we thought."

She grins, "Roger that, Burns."

Akira

This man, his powers were certainly spectacular. He would bend the earth subconciously in ways that she had never thought even possible. She was panting lightly as she sat on the grass beside Daniel who was passed out at the moment. She was worried for him, that was for certain. Slowly he was loosing his strength and she did not know how to treat a human. He was dying, and she needed help. She couldn't wait.

There was voices over there. Human mutterings. Help.

Akira lifted Daniel, putting carrying his unconcious body over her shoulders and she stepped forward, slowly but surely to wear the voices were. She tried to call for them, but her voice did not form. She was so tired. She wished only to rest.

"This has got to be a mutant trick. I don't have any other explanation. You might get your wish to fight Azul before we thought." It was a male voice.

"Roger that, Burns." A female voice.

At Azul's name, she became confused, almost disorientated. Azul had always shown her kindness. He was always the friend she would never have. He was almost like a brother to her. And then there was these humans saying how they wished to fight him, how they wished to kill him. And she knew fully that she was going to help these humans.

There was many of them, standing there, one which seemed to be in a trance while looking at another. They seemed confused about it. 'A mutant trick'. They thought that this was a work of mutants when really none of them really couldn't do a feet like this other than herself. But the 'trick' didn't seem to be doing much harm. And she was tired, very tired.

"Take your partner," Akira said gruffly, laying Daniel carefully onto the ground before them. At the sound of her voice, some of them jumped, others looked around for a weapon. Obviously, they had not heard her coming. A dog looked over at her and started growling, a deep menacing growl.

Daniel

The Saviors seemed ready to attack Akira. Shay's growling stirred me and I uneasily sat up.

"No," I groaned. The others froze. "No, I can vouch for her."

"Daniel, you're not thinking straight," Burns began.

"No, no..." I mumbled. "She saved my life. I fell of a cliff. Ask Kit, she knows."

All eyes turned to Kit, but she was still unaware of the world about her.

"Please," I pleaded. "Just take my word, at least for now."

As was becoming a habit of mine, I passed out.

We could just leave Kit in the forest, assuming that the person she's with is safe. :?

Hey, sorry for not posting. My computer stopped working. Got it working again, so, I'll write again. Sorry again.

*For all of you, the person whom 'Kit' calls mom is a mutant, and Kit is having hallucinations right now, and if you leave her there, you might as well have to leave the character anyway.*

*My original plan was not this, but as you all are confused, I'll change a bit. Sorry for the confusing part*

*Kit has two personalities okay? Now she's in her other, more darker, and dangerous personality. Someone kill the mutant 'mom' and drag away Kit, Please*

Alistair: "What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I'm stranded somewhere without any pants."

Burns,

I'm still thinking of a plan when I suddenly feel someone tugging on my sleeve. It's Calli.

"Burns! Kit's 'Mom's' eyes are silver, like a..."

"Mutant!" I roar, forgetting about everything else. I pull out my handgun, loading it as I run. The mutant snarls, and makes a lunge for Kit. I level my gun, and put three rounds into the mutant. With a grunt, the mutant collapses. I grab Kit around the waste, the mutant-turned-good called Akira grabs Daniel, and we hightail it back to camp.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Daniel

I wake up once again. This time, I feel relatively refreshed and sit up immediately. I appeared as if everyone had made it safely back to camp.

Everyone else was sitting around the ashes of a campfire. It must havebeen lit the night before, because it was broad daylight.

I walked over to the rest of the group. Everyone was in deep disscusion and nobody seemed to notice me.

"What's up?" I asked, sitting down.

**Silver where are you??!!**

I was confused and worried. Kitrina still had not woken up after seeping into a deep unconscious state. I had tried to wake her up numerous times after arriving at our new camp but she did not stir.

We slept almost instantly after making a campfire. We were all tired but managed to put together a schedule to keep watch throughout the night. Some of us, the weak, the unconscious and the untrusted were excluded from it.

When morning came we still refused to talk to each other unless absolutely necessary. Most of us wanted someone else to start a conversation to join into, the rest wanted to think over the confusing happenings that had recently passed before speaking to each other.

The mutant, Akira, had not gained any of our trusts yet other than Daniel's. She had kept to herself beside Daniel's unconscious body and no one bothered her. We had had enough dealings with mutants for a while and wanted to keep their thoughts to ourselves until Kitrina and Daniel woke up so as to learn the truth from our own kind.

Burns was the first to sit around the ashes of the fire that had been lit last night. He had become our leader without knowing it himself. Most of us now knew that we would not have made it so far if it were not for him. Burns called for us to sit around the ashes, he wanted to speak to all the saviors and plan ahead without wasting any more time on thinking.

The only people who did not gathered together around the ashes were Akira, me, Daniel and Kitrina. I did not know why Akira had not joined in the conversation but I had decided to stay beside Kitrina until she awoke. I felt guilty about not being able to save her before and wanted to make it up to her by being there for her now.

I could hear the conversation clearly and kept my ears clear. I was expected to join in the conversation even though I was beside Kitrina. Burns had said to me before that it was important for everyone's voices to be heard so we could come to a agreement that everyone agreed to.

I closed my eyes and sighed. A few seconds passed before I opened them again. When I did, I was surprised to see Daniel awake and refreshed, walking straight up to the rest of the group and sitting down as if nothing happened.

"What's up?" he asked, instantly silencing the group who looked at him as if he had was insane.

I smiled for the first time in a long time at the faces of the rest of the group and said, loud enough for everyone to hear "You'll never believe us if we told you!"

**Hope everyone's characters are portrayed okay, I'll change it if not ok?**
