((Willgot, last I checked, Sam, Adria, and Cassi were outside somewhere. I guess it doesn't matter to me if it doesn't matter to RayneChild, but I figured I'd let you know. By the way, we should probably get a discussion topic going so we don't clog up the topic with OOC posts. ))

A low growl rumbled deep down in my throat. Cassi, hearing this, spoke up.
"Adria, don't get any ideas. Just leave it alone. They're not here to bug you, or rant about how much better their race is." My fierce green eyes flitted to her face.
"I know," I said quietly.
Murphy raced around in his ball, running over rocks and sand, making lots of loud crackling sounds. An amused smile warped half of my mouth. The other side remained a line. The bird creatures coughed nervously. I glanced up at them, and my innocent half-smile turned into a full devilish smile.
"Well, I suppose I don't actually have a good, credible reason to fight you, so you may join us without fear," I told them.
The boy nodded and smiled, but the girl looked a bit skeptical. Cassi looked over at her.
"Don't worry," she said. "Nothing is going to happen. Right, Adria?" She put an annoying emphasis on 'right' and I couldn't help but cringe, making my ears twitch furiously. I nodded in agreement though. "I'll make sure of it," she added. The girl finally smiled and seemed to relax.
"We were accompanying young Mr. Castor here to his history class," I told them. They nodded and smiled. "This is K.C. and Murphy," I said absentmindedly, gesturing to my wolf and hamster companions.
The boy, Rashid, eyed my ears and tail curiously. "Why do you still have those?" He asked.
"Birth defect," I answered. "They won't fully retract."
"Ahh..." he replied thoughtfully.
I watched Murphy run as we continued to walk.
Singing: It's more than my forte; it's my fortissimo --- They say "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
I was hurrying down the hall, hoping not to be late when guess who I run into? Gwen and Rashid, not to mention two girl werewolves and a boy werewolf that looked pretty young. I tried to hurry past but Rashid noticed me.
"Gwen, isn't that the vamp you got paired with as a roomie?" he whispered to Gwen.
"Yeah."
"You got paired with a vampire?" I heard one of the girl werewolves ask.
Just ignore them, I told myself. But my feet planted themselves firmly on the ground.
"A vampire roommate that can definitely hear you," I said, rather sarcastically.
"Sorry, erm... what's your name again?" Gwen asked.
I sighed and turned around. At least Gwen was polite enough to try to talk to me.
"Lexi Cameron." I couldn't help smiling a little. "Who are your friends?"
One of the girl werewolves glared at me slightly and the other ignored me. The grinning boy werewolf stood up and greeted me.
"I'm Sam. And this is Adria and Cassi," he pointed out the two girls to me.
"Hey guys." I waved a little to the quiet girls. "Listen Gwen and Rashid, I just kinda want to apologize. I didn't mean to scare you if I did. I swear I won't drink your blood. Alan and werewolf aren't on my diet."

All of the newcomers made me extremely nervous. My habit of clamming up when confronted by people had taken hold shortly after my warning to Adria, and it refused to let up . . . especially when a vampire joined our growing group.
I knew Adria well enough to know that my warning had annoyed her, and yet I felt it suddenly necessary to warn her again. Alans weren't that big of a deal, but a vampire? I could smell conflict coming.
While Gwen and Rashid merely chuckled at Lexi's joke, I saw Adria tense beside me. I tried to think of something I could say to calm her, but before anything came to mind, she had spoken, her mischievous grin returning to her face.
"Lucky for you, vampires aren't currently on my diet either."
"Adria!" I hissed angrily, but she appeared to ignore me.
Everyone could feel the tension now. Lexi looked taken aback at Adria's comment, trying to decide what she meant. I tried to un-clam myself to ease the pressure, but luckily, Rashid beat me to it.
"So, um, Cassi . . . I think I've seen you around before. Aren't you in my chemistry class?"
My mouth unglued itself abruptly. "Y- yeah," I managed to stammer. "I sit a couple of rows behind you. Interesting stuff, chemistry." I bit my tongue the second it was still. I sounded like a complete idiot, and I couldn't help but notice that my voice had risen a few octaves.

Rashid chuckled a bit nervously. "That's good news. I'm sort of ashamed of running like that. Maybe, uh, you could hang out with us if you wanted?"
Adria, Cassie, and Gwen all looked very uncomfortable with the idea. Rashid himself couldn't deny that he had a natural aversion to vampires, but he thought everyone deserved a chance at friendship.
Sam, on the other hand, just smiled more widely. "That sounds like it could be fun."

"It could be great, great fun!" I told everyone, putting a huge grin on my face. Everyone was starting to get tense and the air was thick around us.
"I think all of us hanging out together would be excelent" Rashid said, agreing with me and I nodded at him.
"Lexi, I think you and I will be good friends" Gwen told Lexi, giving her a grin. "We're roommates anyway, we should be nice to each other!". I laughed and looked at Cassi and Adria, they both had tense expressions and I gave them both a reassuring look. I had a good feeling about Lexi, she couldn't be all bad.
Gwen Ackerman
"Friends" Lexi said bak to me, agreeing, maybe? I was probably being pushy about that, but anything to not get everyone fighting.
"So..." Rashid started after a long silence.
Actawesome: Where's Mohave? I've never heard of that city. Is it near Vegas?
Willgot: ... You're surrounded by the Mohave, its the desert. XD
Actawesome: Show's how much I know XD
Simon smiled at the girl. She seemed suspicious of him. Well that was new.
"I'm Simon," he nodded. She looked him up and down.
"Simon...obviously a vampire, no?" She asked, smiling slightly.
"And you figured that out on your own? Very nice, with brains like that you must be a werewolf," Simon retorted. The girl obviously noted the insult.
**Sorry, I don't know what she is. ^_^ Too lazy to look it up**
Brystine - Demon
Brystine strutted down the hall, grinning. She was late. Big surprise, but still, she was eager to be here. This place...interested her like no other. This was sure to be an interesting ride.
Brystine saw a small group talking animatedly about something. She grinned. Either it was time to break up the party or it was time to make 'new freinds.'
"Hey," she said, softly. Their heads jerked up and she smiled wider. "I'm Brystine."
"Demon huh?" Someone asked. She cocked an eyebrow and glared at them.
"Yeah. Demon. Is there a problem with that?" She asked, amused.
**This can be anyone if you want. (: Just need to bring her in. **

"Aren't you observant?" Vasha said cooly. "With the gaping wounds and glowing orange eyes, how could I be anything but a werewolf, right?"
"I was being sarcastic," Simon replied. "I could smell the stench of a zombie from across the school."
"Thanks for my paper anyways," she replied, clenching her jaw. "I suppose the insults were complimentary. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a class to be at." She made to push past him.

Simon groaned. He hadn't really meant to insult her. After all, she wasn't really a werewolf.
"Wait!" He called. "You never told me you're name."
She spun around. "Hm, and you never were polite," she replied stalking off. Simon rolled his eyes.
What did she expect. Was everyone supposed to be nice around here. Especially considering zombies and vampires never have got along. I guess it was good not to bush things too far. Well, for now.
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
Vasha kept walking, expression becoming a bit colder. Stupid vampires, thought they were so much better than everyone else. She could have been a bit more polite to start of course, he was just giving her the paper she'd dropped, but...
She kept walking, convincing herself that the conversation hadn't bothered her at all.

Simon shrugged and headed towards his class. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Brystine. He walked faster before she could see him.
He knew Brystine. He didn't get along with her either. Brystine was...different, but not in a good way. Then again, she was a demon. Her name spoke of more than it let on.
Simon entered a classroom and, while looking around, grinned. He spotted the girl he talked to earlier.
"Hey zombie girl," he smiled, sitting next to her. Her head whipped around so fast he thought she might have broken her neck.
"You?" She asked, bemused. "Look, but I think maybe you need to stop following me. I mean, after a while it just gets creepy."
"What? You don't have people follow you often?" Simon asked. "Look I just came to say sorry. I didn't really mean to offend you. Truce?"
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
I looked at the demon girl up and down. All that I could say was thqat she didn't look like good news. I ignored her and turned back to everyone else.
"As I was saying, I'm glad that I don't have to go through the school year without any friends."
"What would make me glad would be if I could go through the whole school year without any rude vampires like yourself," the Brystine girl behind me sneered.
My head whipped around so fast it would have snapped my neck if I was human. "Look, Brystine, I don't know you at all, so don't even go there, because you obiously don't know me."
"Hey, uh, Brystine, why don't you back off? You can't just come over here and start dissing everybody," I head gwen say behind me.
"Aww, is the little alan gonna defend the big scary vampire?" she mocked.
I was getting more frustrated by the second and she knew it.
"What's next? Are you gonna go hide behind the werewolf pup or maybe the cat girl!" She chuckled.
Sam and Adria looked disgusted and outraged.
"Knock it off," I murmured, fists clecnched.
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!
**Um, I know Brystine isn't quite your nice little demon girl, but she wouldn't be like that. She isn't trying to make freinds though, so you got that part right. It dosen't really matter. (: I'll try and fix it a little**
Brystine
She sighed. This wasn't even any fun. What was the use in messing with these people if they hardly even fought back.
"Hm, you might have confidence issues," she thought aloud. The vampire girl glared at me.
"What are you talking about?" She spat. Brystine rolled her eyes.
"Keep up, would you. I'm not really trying to start a fight. Not yet anyway," she grinned. "Only saying. You got really fired up when I started talking about vampires. So you could be a really proud vampire. You wouldn't tell me your name after I introduced myself so you may just have a little prejudice about demons or you have a problem with me period. Which would mean you're protective, and another person joining in would threaten you, meaning you have low self esteem. I couldn't have said anything to begin with, because you immediatly ignored me. You could have at least told me your name but you just looked at me and turned away, talking about whatever it was before hand. So which one is right?"
Brystine smiled a little as vampire girl just stood there looking at her as if she had just grown another head.
"Or you could just keep ignoring me..." She sighed, half amused, half frustrated.
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
"I'm sorry, I guess. I am a little proud of my vampireness and I'm sorry I attacked you like that. I just don't want to seem like a weakling on my first day, and not standing up for people seemed like a really good way to seem weak," I said a little sheepishly.
She smiled a little. "I shouldn't have egged you on. I'm sorry too."
"Okay, so are we cool now?" I asked.
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!
Vasha looked completely taken aback. "I... okay, I suppose we could have a truce." She sounded a little suspicious, as though she thought Simon was setting her up for some sort of prank. He was a vampire after all. Most of his kind felt threatened by zombies, seeing them as poachers depleting their food supply. She'd never been allowed to go hunt humans, and neither had she wanted to (except during feeding frenzies). It wasn't like most vampires knew that though, or cared for that matter.
Simon's smile widened. "Nice. So now will you tell me your name?"
"Maybe if you tell me yours first," she replied. Vasha had heard stories of demons who could do very bad things to you if they knew your full given name. She wasn't sure if this was true or not, but it seemed like the only motive this guy could have for wanting to know who she was. Maybe he had a demon buddy lurking in the corridor somewhere...
"Fair enough. I'm Simon, Simon Maxwell." He watched her expectantly, still smiling.
The zombie blinked with surprise. "Oh. I'm Vasha Brooks."

Rashid- Alan
If the vampire had made Rashid feel uncomfortable, the demon made him downright fidgety. He'd suffered a lot at the hands of various demons and their powers. Memories of getting locked inside janitor's closets and finding his bag stuffed with rotting fruit started to fill his mind. There was one particularly nasty incident where he'd woken up to find his wings clipped and himself suspended from the flag pole in the school's front lawn. It had taken hour to get him down and about three weeks for his flight feathers to grow back.
He forced himself to smile politely at Brystine. "I-I'm sure she didn't mean to ignore you. Uh, would you like to join us?"
