Hey everyone. I'll be gone from tomorrow (Saturday) to next Saturday. Please keep Marlie alive for me and do what you will with her. Thanks!

Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!

((I think it needs to be kick-started by making something happen. For instance...))

Vasha Brooks

They were a few weeks into school, and Vasha's charred jaw had finally started to heal. It was still very noticeably black. Still, even a little progress was something.

She was feeling very annoyed that the only thing anyone would talk about was the stupid dance coming up in three days. It wasn't so much that she hated dances, but it always seemed pointless to throw a rowdy social gathering a week before tests. If she stayed in her dorm to study, she was distracted by the noise from the dance hall. If she went, which hardly ever happened, the zombie spent most of her time sitting at a table alone thinking that she should be studying as the other students danced with their dates.

Vasha was brooding on this as she made her way down the hall. So absorbed was she in her thoughts that she didn't look up when she turned the corner.

"Oof! Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to..." She blinked. "Simon?"

The vampire brushed off the front of his clothes. "Don't worry about it Vasha, I'm fine."
