No, Boltage, I don't think so - The Mother of All Monsters was Echidna, and she gave birth to the Nemean Lion, the Chimera, the Sphinx, the Lernaean Hydra, and Cerberus.
However, Artemis was the Goddess of Animals - She was never considered 'evil'.
Also, I believe that when heroes killed monsters it was mostly Echidna's offspring, and Echidna was never considered a goddess, she was a monster as well.
On the other hand, many creatures were created by the gods and goddesses themselves, and I believe it was a crime to kill them. (Ex. Posideon created horses.)
So, Rayne's character would NOT be considered evil, just because she is the goddess of creatures.

Cant we just start from new? You tell us all the rules and we all start together like all the gods at a banquet or something, and we just forget what happened before. I mean: I'm very confused at the moment.
Arya, I totally agree. I haven't even had the chance to post yet and from some of what I've read, this is very discombobulated. It would be much easier just to start it off again. The Gods/Goddess in Olympus at one of the Gods' many banquets...something like that.

I agree. But guys, come on, it's not as if things have to be strictly by the book here. Bend the rules a little. After all this IS a fiction story. (:
I think we should use Bolt idea. He said his character wanted to be a hero and not all the Gods are going to be for killing them. I mean in the Odyssey, Odysseus had protection from Athena while Poseidon tried to kill him.
Can't we just do something like that. I really just want to post. ): Sorry that this is so confusing. ):
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
Actually Artemis was the goddess of the hunt, not creatures. She enjoyed killing monsters and animals, though she also brought them back to life. And I put Goddess in quotes because I know she was not considered one, but the closet thing to one. Echidna did not just have those few though, she gave birth other ones.
Those creatures you mention that were created by gods were mostly animals, which were not considered evil and were not touched, I am talking about the centaurs, like the centaurs, the Cyclops, and hundred hand ones (those are bad examples of evil ones though)
Also there were the blood monsters, made from Uranus's (if that is how his name is spelt.) Blood when he was over thrown.
And to humans she still would be considered evil. Monsters hurt humans, they hated them, the goddess that is in charge of them would be feared, and hated.

I'm all for starting over, but I think someone should make a list of all the Gods/Goddesses, creatures, and humans, just so that it's easier; and we have a lot of members so that would really come in handy.
Plus a DT would be nice

I'm for starting over as well. Boltage, don't take anything I said offensively, please. I was simply trying to point out some things. I guess my main point was that Artemis was the goddess of MANY things (hunting, wilderness, wild animals, childbirth, virginity, etc.) but was still not considered evil.
Sorry if it sounded like I was attacking you.
But, yeah, I'm for starting over.

Woah...guys...lol slow down. I didn't know this would turn into such a debate. Let's break this down, shall we?
Okay, what I mean by "creatures" is, in particular, just animals, but also other things like Satyrs and Centaurs, things that are part animal themselves. She couldn't care less about the Chimera, or the Nemean Lion, or the Hydra, or those other creatures that there was only one of. There were lots of satyrs and centaurs, but only one Cerberus, for example. I understand that certain heroes were told by the gods to kill things like the hydra and the chimera. Lol believe me, I know. I had to read Mythology last summer for my summer reading assignment. Worst book ever, by the way. Anyway, that is why she wouldn't try to protect them.
But creatures of the Earth, like traditional animals and those that have animal inbreeding, are what she has to protect. Like I said, without anything to protect and watch over, she may as well just be human.
And what I meant when I said that she wasn't evil is that she would be hunting down these two people who are killing centaurs and satyrs and such. By all means, kill things like Medusa and the hydra and the chimera and stuff.
Or, if you'd all prefer, I can change her profile so that she's only the goddess of nature and animals, NOT creatures. Then you guys can have at them *I like this idea Lol. It solves all our problems...for the most part haha*
And I agree with you guys and the banquet idea. I'm pretty confused myself XD Right now there's a wedding and killing of centaurs and confrontations and meteors and it's all a jumble. I think starting over would be a fabulous idea
Also, Bolt, in everything I've ever read and heard about Greek mythology, the only things that could change form were the gods and certain types of creatures, which I can't even think of the names of at the present time. But I've never seen anything about regular shape shifters running around. I could be wrong, but that's just me.
Wow...I didn't expect for this to be so long XD Haha. I should make a DT, huh? Lol so we don't have to keep posting here XP Anywho, tell me what you guys think.

That sounds great, Rayne... And a DT would be helpful...

Heh heh... But I'm a tad bit retarded and don't know where to make one at XD I looked in the 'submit something' thingy but I didn't find it
Anyone know where I can do that at?
Edit:
NEVERMIND!!!!!!!! I found it ^^

Well I rmember reading about a type of shadow demon with the ability to change forms. Oh and I forgot to metion this, there were dragons to. Just not winged one who breathed fire, more reptilian snakes called dragons.
Well I think we should just ignore the older posts, and continue on in this one. DT would be good too. And posting the profiles, in the DT, or a list of characters and what they are would be good too.

To make a DT, I think you just go to the DT area, and at the top it says 'Create New Topic' or something like that.... It is similar to creating a storybook, just in the DT subforum.
