Name: Lukas

Age: Unknown, though he appears to be in his early twenties

Gender: Male

God of: Youth and wine

Appearance: http://dreamlessxpassion.deviantart.com ... -124939286

History: Not much of one. He can't remember anything before becoming a god. He loves to raise the alcohol in wine though, and will often mess around with people's ages just to have fun. He loves teasing the Goddess of Beauty, who constantly looks into her mirror. He'll make her appear aged and disgusting only to her at times, but will later admit to it and be clubbed in the back of the head.

Personality: Lukas is a very lazy God, but also a very fun-loving one. He will usually lay around and do nothing all day, and very rarely will visit human soil except to study the grapes he'll use in his next cup of wine. He also likes to mess with conceited people, who care only about their looks, much like the Goddess of Beauty. He can make them appear old to themselves and no one else, or the other around. He will very rarely give someone the give of youth, which will keep them young forever, but not immortal. He does, however, enjoy helping elderly people find their inner child again, so he does care about things other than youth and wine.

**Yeah, so, there haha! I'll post later on, and if someone could, I'd greatly appreciate it if they brought me in, on either of my characters. I'm off to softball practice :D**

I watched the children play beneath me. Not children really, but to me, most everyone was a child. I sighed and jumped from the branch of the tree I was sitting on.

The children, who were painting on the old farm building stopped and gazed at me. I knew what they must be seeing. A beautiful, mysterious young woman jumping out of a tree, landing perfectly. I felt my raven black hair fall in place, framing my pale face. It came from living in the night. After all, wasn't that what I was born for? The night.

"Hey girl," one boy slurred. He was drunk. I sighed, rolling my eyes.

"Hello. I really hate to cut this short but I'm really quite busy," I said quietly. I never rose my voice. Not even when I was upset. I turned to leave but the boy grabbed my wrist.

"Don't worry, we'll be quick," the boy grinned. he looked back at his friends and they laughed. I cocked an eyebrow and pursed my mouth. His thoughts were really disgusting.

"Manners child," I replied, my eyes flitting from my wrist to his face. He gripped it tighter, grabbing the other one.

"I wasn't raised with manners. Maybe I could show you want I know. I'm sure you'll see I'm not such a child," he implied. I wanted to gag, but held back the urge.

"I'd rather not. Now yo have a matter of seconds to let me go or I'll have to resort to force."

The boy laughed, looking at his friends. He turned his face to mine, looking down at me.

"Resort to force...let's see this- Hey!" He yelled.

I twisted and kneed him in the gut. I didn't want to hurt him, like I knew I could, but he was really starting to get on my nerves.

"Goodnight boys," I replied as an eerie wind filled the air. I was the goddess of night. Did they really believe they stood a chance?

I blended into the shadows and walked away slowly. I was tired.

"Nice show," a voice called behind me. I turned to face another. Not one of the boys from a while ago, but I still wasn't sure as if I could trust this person. Who were they?

<<Anyone want to talk to Jade? (:

**I'll put Lukas there if you don't mind :D**

Lukas - God of Youth and Wine~

"Nice show," Lukas smiled coyly from the shadows, arms crossed gingerly over his chest. Jade's gaze shot up at him defiantly and he let musical laughter flood out of his lips. "It's okay, just me," he stepped out of the shadows, violet eyes locking with Jade's. She slowly calmed down and started to walk, Lukas soon at her side, a smug smile on his face. "Scared you, didn't I?"

"Scared? More like shocked me. Shouldn't you be sleeping somewhere, like usual?" Jade turned her sarcastic gaze from the shadows before her to Lukas, who laughed again.

"I wish I was. That or drinking my fill of precious wine, or maybe even messing with the goddesses who care about their looks." Jade took a swing at him, which he dodged with a chuckled. "I'm kidding," he smiled and shook his head, arms crossing over his chest again.

"Yes, I'm sure you are. Now, what are you, the laziest god I know, doing down here?" Lukas sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, trying to remember.

"Eh, what did I come down here for? I can't remember perfectly," he sighed and closed his eyes, brows furrowed.

"Careful, you don't want to think to hard, Alcina might come, and with Alcina, comes Arista, and with Arista comes non-stop party attempts." Lukas chuckled lightly and shook his shoulder length hair.

"Oh! Yes, yes, yes, that was it!" He suddenly piped up. "We're having another feast, and everyone is asked to attend."

"Another one?" Jade asked, disbelievingly. "We had one just two moons ago!"

"Yes, yes, I know, but this one is said to be important." Lukas smirked over at Jade, who rolled her eyes.

"Important? More like pointless? Last time it was important, and all we did was drink wine and party." Jade grovelled, while Lukas let out another laugh.

"No, we drank wine and partied while you sat and watched, not even attempting to join in!" He smiled over at her coyly, waiting for another sarcastic reply.

Illana -

Someone was conversing with one of my oracles. It wasn't that odd, but it wasn't a normal consultation. This was a regular conversation, and that didn't happen very often. Hm... I'd have to look into this. Besides, there was another thing about this conversation that bothered, me, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I'd have to leave Delphi for a while.

Topping it all off, there that man Syn... I winced, recalling the prohecy I made some five hundred years ago. Well, he was headed to the same oracle, so I figured that I could kill two birds with one stone. Figuratively, of course. I didn't intend to kill either of them, but killing the man Syn would definitely solve many problems. I couldn't interfere, though. That would definitely mess up the balance.

Heading for the temple, I couldn't hear anything through the statues. That meant they were probably in the house of... what was his name? It's been quite a while since I looked into him. That would be fixed soon enough. I made a mental note to myself to go and honestly pay attention to what the other oracles were doing. I was focusing too much on Delphi.

Descending and morphing into my mortal form, I looked around. There wasn't much about this house, but I knew it was protected against spirits and those with harmful intent. Hopefully, the quite outdated wards wouldn't mistake my curiosity for harmful intent. That happened more than once, and the results often weren't very pretty.

Nearing the door, I crouched down and leaned against the door, trying to listen in. There was a vaguely familiar female voice, and the oracle... Admes was his name. Right.

The house had two doors, one main door and a secret door for emergencies. I crouched against the emergency door, trying to listen in. The house was magically protected, so my powers were slightly dulled. I recognized Admes' voice, a female one- odd, seeing as Admes was never keen on letting women into his house- and a loud creaking noise. Probably somebody opening the other door, entering. Syn.

What I didn't count on was my door giving way. The house was very old, passed along from oracle to oracle for the past two centuries. The doors had never been replaced, to my knowledge. As such, it splintered under my weight and I fell over. Scrambling up as quickly as I could, I met with three pairs of eyes, one enraged, another shocked, and the last pair slightly bemused.

Draka -

I sauntered around the forest, wondering what I was going to do next. Nothing had really changed in the forest, so I didn't have anything to do.

All of a sudden, I heard a sort of scream. It sounded like a deer, and very abruptly, the scream was cut off. Dead. Eyebrows rising, I wondered what had happened. There were no predators in this forest who would attack a deer if it was in a herd, and I just saw a herd pass by the area.

Said herd burst past only a few seconds earlier, and they were running away in fright. Some tripped over each other, and others started collapsing as if their legs could no longer support them. Most of the herd, however, just left as suddenly as they had come, leaving the few stragglers to fend for themselves.

If they were spooked this badly, then it couldn't mean anything good. I had to get away from this place. Even as I started changing back to my regular form, feathers sprouting over my arms, I noted that the legs of the deer were gone. Not exactly, but the skin, muscle, and flesh was not there. Just bone. That explained the collapsing, but if something could do that, there was no way I would stick around any longer.

I was too slow, and halfway through my transformation, a god- I could sense the power radiating from him- bounded into the clearing, and descended upon another deer. I watched with no small measure of repulsion and fear at the way he tore into the deer, before it was gone, leaving only a skeleton. The aura around him was weakening, like he was draining me of my life.

He was about to leave, go and chase after the rest of the herd when he spotted me. Hungry golden eyes met mine, and I immediately knew this wasn't going to turn out well.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

"I don't join in parties because I see no use," I replied, cocking an eyebrow. "Though you seem to thrive off of them. I'm sure there's one nearby. I'd hate to keep you here so go along."

Lukas grinned. "There's no important parties anywhere around here. I think I'll just stay here if you don't mind." I groaned.

"Of course you will," I said. "Well, I guess you can tell the others I don't think I'll go."

"Oh but you must!" Lukas exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.

"Really? I have too? Well in that case, I'm still not going," I responded.

"I guess it's a good thing," Lukas sighed. I blinked.

"Excuse me?" I asked, staring at him. He nodded.

"Well, I mean look at this," he said, fingering my dull, midnight black dress. "You really wouldn't blend in too well. It's probably best you stay out here.

"Well," I replied, shocked. Lukas looked at me.

"I'll just tell them you're not going. Don't worry, I'll tell you all about it."

"No. I'm going. I don't always belong to the night , you know," I replied annoyed.

"Great! I knew you'd come!" Lukas grinned. I stopped, dead in my tracks.

"You tricked me. You tricked me into coming. That was cruel and childish and...clever," I admitted, ruefully.

"Was that a compliment?" Lukas asked. "Surely not a compliment from you?"

I didn't respond. How did Lukas know that he would get to me like that? I had never told anyone that I hated being the goddess of the night. Always feeling like I belonged to it. It was beautiful of course, but I hated it. I was such here for my whole, immortal light. Never to live in the light of the sun. And Lukas had used that to get to me. That was very clever, but how did he know?

Haha don't worry; I'll rescue Draka ;) Also, is Olympus kinda like a city? Or is it just a castle or whatever? I'll just assume the first one, correct me if I'm wrong :)

Terra-

I watched my fellow divinities almost disdainfully. I didn't dislike any of them, just their endless love of parties. They never got tired of them, and truth be told, it was terribly annoying. When deciding whether or not to have banquets, majority rules, and some of us more sensible, quiet-loving gods are outnumbered. It sucked. We had a party at least twice a month, usually more. In all my years of living in Olympus, never had I experienced a month during which we didn't have a party of some kind.

I left the room and walked along the almost quiet, cloud flooded streets of Olympus, deep in thought. They were suddenly interrupted, however, when a sort of scream flowed through my ears. I knew immediately that it was the sound of an animal, a deer, to be exact. It was being murdered, and brutally, by the sound of it. My anger flared. I knew there could only be one cause of a death so severe as the one I was listening to.

Famine.

I was filled with a raging fury and I descended with great speed into the forest. Sure enough, when I reached the clearing, Famine was there, disintegrating a deer's skeleton, and staring hungrily into the eyes of a boy trying desperately to morph into a bird. He rose from the ground and leaped at the boy. With vicious rage, I lifted a thick vine from the ground and with it, knocked Famine out of the air, sending him tumbling down and skidding to a stop in the dirt.

"Famine!" I thundered.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the boy staring at me in amazement. The end of the vine withered and died. I took a couple steps forward and Famine shakily stood. He looked a bit shaken up, but able to stand on his own.

"Do you get some kind of sick pleasure out of brutally murdering innocent creatures?!" I shouted at him.

"How else do you expect me to get energy??" He cried, a little shocked by the sound of it.

"Then go after humans!" I yelled. I saw the boy look at me in fear. "There's no one in Olympus who's trying to protect them! But stay away from my animals," I growled threateningly. In the reflection of Famine's eyes I saw my own normally green eyes on fire with anger.

He narrowed his eyes at me, cutting off the visioin I was seeing.

---

I'll let one of you guys pick up from there :) What a way to start a war, eh? Lol

Thanatos

"Actually Terra, you are quiet wrong there," I said, appearing from the shadows. I had heard her call my reaper’s name, and decided to follow.

"And why would I be?" I asked the nature Goddess.

"Well you see, Famine is only allowed to take the life of a human when I tell him too. If you are wondering why, when a human dies, I need to expand on my land, and that is just a pain. While when an animal dies, they do not go anywhere, there soul is by your control. So I will protect the humans, until I see it fit for them to die, and send Famine for them," I said.

"Then we seem to have some trouble," Terra said, and raised her hands.

"Oh are you really going to fight me?" I asked. Before she could answer though, I cut her off. "Do not bother, we are both Gods. And I am not in the mood for a fight that will last a million years."

“Sounds to me like you're afraid," Terra teased.

"Far from it. In fact I am very confident in my self," I said “For my forces can not be burnt, or killed. Your forces can. A vine that touches me, I will set a flame, an animal that comes near me; I will send a skeleton upon. My forces can, and will, fight until your soldiers are gone. But no matter how hard you try, mine are always going to live, because they have already died."

"You think I do not know this?" Terra asked. "Because I do. But I can gather a much stronger group of Gods behind me then you. Your forces will not matter when all of Olympus, and every other God and good creature, are behind me."

"You assume we could not get help," Famine stated. "But we can. And we will."

Famine

I hated confrontations in my human form. Scrawny and weak looking, other Gods thought it easy to push me around. But I would not let Terra have her way with me. I was not afraid of anyone and if Terra was trying to induce fear in me, she would fail.
"I don't see how you can stop me Terra," I said in my usual formal voice, a patronising smile spreading across my lips.

She whipped around again, her green eyes blazing with fury, but behind her strange things began to happen. A black aura joined the bones of the slaughtered deer skeletons together. With a rattle, they stood behind Terra, their black eye crevasses staring blankly at her like the depths of the underworld. The bird shapeshifter coughed a choke of horror as the undead herd clattered towards the unaware Terra.

"Your friends do not appreciate the manner in which to speak to me," I laughed, as she turned with a scream of horror, the deer advancing on her, clicking the bones of their jaws together menacingly.

"Famine let them rest, NOW!" She yelled, backing off from the skeletons and for some reason refusing to harm them. I growled, my upper lip curling.

"They belong to me now, not you, their souls are [i]mine[i]!" I spat, clicking my fingers together. With a chorus of silent screams the deer fell to the ground, skeletons disintegrating into neat sand piles. A ghostly breath of air scattered them across the clearing.

I turned to the bird shapeshifter, regarding him with hungry gold eyes, "I will spare you this time."

"You will not harm him, Famine!" I felt a thick, prickled vine burst from the earth with a clod of earth, smacking straight into my jaw with a sickening crack.

I stared at her, my eyes full of fury and my jaw hanging loose from my mouth. I relocated it with my hand, flexing my jaw bone.

Then, with a single blink of my golden eyes, Terra began to cough.

"Feeling thirsty?" I sneered, watching her stagger towards a small pond for water. With a wave of my hand, sand covered the pond. Her chokes got more pronounced.

With a sigh I had mercy upon her, clicking my fingers promptly.

"Do not underestimate me, Terra. I may look thin and weak, but that is all part of the job. I must look like a skeleton if I am a reaper, after all," I jeered at her over my shoulder, leaving the clearing behind me.

Skylark

Ugh. Being a sentinel of the skies could wear thin a little, sometimes. I cruised along the thermals, absentmindedly scanning the forest below. I didn't expect to hear the harrowing scream of pain from below.

I jumped, the feathers on my head raising in alarm.

Something or someone was in trouble down there. But it wasn't my duty to protect the forest... that was Terra's job. But as more and more screams sounded from deep within the trees, I couldn't just continue my scout and listen to the things die.

I performed a hairpin turn in the sky, flapping my small black wings faster than a hummingbirds and diving down towards the trees below.

I threw my wings out and slowed, touching down on a branch above a clearing. Sand and dust covered the ground, the grass was black and dead and the bones of animals littered the area. My icy eyes widened in alarm at a woman who lay choking on the ground.

*Yeah I figured I should get her involved^^*

Lukas smiled coyly, head held high. "I'm not just a simple minded drunkard like some of you think, really. I do have a brain." Jade kept silent, causing him to laugh whole heartily. He turned his gaze down to Jade, who was still stumped. "Anyways, are you ready?"

"What? Ready for what?" Jade asked quickly. Lukas rolled his eyes and smiled down at her, gripping her wrist.

"Nothing, just come on." He smiled, hurrying towards the banquet hall for the Gods, Jade dragging behind him.

Virenna~ Goddess of Rain and serenity~

La da di da dee la. I hummed a peaceful tune. My deep blue gown trailed along the rain soaked grass as I traveled like a ghost in the night, almost gliding across the ground. Earlier in the day my emotions had caught the better of me and I couldn't hold back a new melody of rain I'd be stifling. It had fallen all afternoon and now I had the soft rhythm stuck in my head. Of course, no one heard it as I did. a smile reached my face.

Words, voices, thoughts, all surrounded me. The rain drops, every single one of them, was sharing a conversation with me. Not them necessarily but the people nearest to them who were speaking or thinking rather. I latched onto one specifically and listened.

"Look at me, do you not see how my feet touch the ground yet do not disturb the grass? Touch me, you can feel your hand go right through my body. I am already dead."

The poor soul speaking was of another realm. Dead and yet living. A ghost of sorts. I played with a lock of my fare hair, thoughtfully. I would see what I could do for this soul. My mind went blank as I took a step into an expanding rain drop. It was the source of the voice. My feet fell out from under me but were soon right back on the ground as if they'd never left.

"Poor soul, I am here to help...." I spoke with pure clarity and a hint of understanding.

A man as normal in appearance as any other turned to me. Grief, pain, every unimaginable torture was written across his face.

"I was taking care of this." Came a female voice from behind him. With a quick glance I saw Kaia, Goddess of Mischief, standing with her chin held high. Basil, her friend of sorts was at her side. I almost wanted to run. No Gods or Goddesses had seen me in little over a century now and I was stubborn on keeping it that way.

Desirae~ Goddess of Lust and Desire~

Terra's animals were simply marvelous creatures. They all had something beautiful about them, I envied them for it. They had not only beautiful gifts, each and everyone, but freedom. A gift that would never be bestowed upon me. I was gorgeous, or so I'd always been told, and yet no man had spoken to me in centuries. Banishing me away to the world of mortals.

The bunny in my lap squirmed before sprinting to the grass, disappearing into nearby underbrush. Such a wonderful thing, I thought bitterly, to be able to come and go as you please...

Moonlight reflected off the mirror I held to my face. The stone bench I sat on was cold and the person staring back at me from cracked glass was even colder. Yes, I was magnificent in appearance. Locks of auburn hair tumbled over my shoulders, deep brown at the roots, and tan skin added an extra glow to my persona.

But it was all a lie.

In truth I was a hateful, bitter person, who's violet eyes spoke the horrible truth. The years away from Olympus had worn on me. I was finally back, unbeknownst to anyone here, though. I chuckled, slow and eerie.

How should I spend my miserable days? Music drifted through the night. A sly grin met my cheeks and I suddenly knew the best way to start off my little return to the place that had banished me more than a century ago.
