Thank you. It wasn't a big deal. A simple misunderstanding.

Singing: It's more than my forte; it's my fortissimo --- They say "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
History: When he was young James used to hunt for monsters. He wanted to be a brave hero that struck fear into even gods. He grew up with that dream, and never let it die. To this days he hunts creatures.
Personality: For the son of the god of death, he is surprisingly up beat. He can turn even the bleakest situation into the happiest one. Another trait of his is kindness; one of his powers is the ability to change things to gold, which he uses to help the poor. The Demi god is a valiant hero as well, fighting any battle needed. People tend to think he is either really annoying, or fake at first, but after they know him for a bit, they learn he is just that kind of guy.
Other: Up for love.
Tiger, could Jamie and James be like a team.

I ran down the alley. It was here. I knew it was here. I could hear James' lithe steps behind me. Probably looking for it's freind.
My head jerked to the rustling in the bins stacked to my side. A centaur jumped out, it's eyes red with rage. I jumped at it, knocking it down. For a human, I was surprisingly strong.
It's hands locked around my neck. My eyes watered and I struggled for air. My hands searched around me, looking automatically for a weapon. My fingers gripped a jagged metal pipe. I cut my finger on the edge but I snatched the weapon up anyway.
In one quick movement, I slid to the side of the monster and drove the pipe in it's chest. It let go of my neck and his red eyes faded. The light draining from them.
I looked away. That's exactly what my parent's eyes did when they were killed. I pursed my lips. The only thing I should be sad about is that I didn't get any information out of him. Not that I killed him.
I looked for James. He was over another beast, probably trying to get information out of it. He nodded my way without looking at me. He knew he needed to keep his concentration.
"It's done," I said, quietly. "We'll meet up later. I need to get cleaned up." I kept my voice emotionless, like always and walked towards my apartment. James would be finished shortly and I knew we were far from done for the night. I needed to hurry up and change. I couldn't just walk the streets looking ragged like I was now.

Stepping out of the dimensional gate, Kaga glanced around him. The forest was devastated, dawn's light showed the aftermath of a fierce battle. Every tree was uprooted in twenty yards, some of them shredded beyond recognition. Several burned husks lay scattered around the area, the remains of Kaga's latest assasins.
"Truly your brother loses his temper in a rather spectacular manner." Kytrana landed soflty behind him, the demon wrapped blood red wings around her self, long silver hair was held in a loose braid.
Emerald eyes flashing Kaga slammed his foot down, snapping a charred bone in two. "Don't call him my brother. I want that nuiscanse dead, he's a threat to everything we are planning."
"Of couse he is." She smiled baring diminutive fangs, "Why not send the hunters after him? They have a reputation for getting the job done, and if they fail and Syn gets away, it's no loss to us. We'll just find someone else to kill him."
He nodded and turned around, opening another gate back to his palace in the Divine Realm. Really, Kaga couldn't stand the stench of the Human World. "You talk to them, find out if they're willing to take the job." Turning he stepped through the gate, leaving Kytrana behind.
Syn- present day
He yawned and through some more wood on the fire, above the stars shone coldly down, the moon was half full. Syn didn't mind sleeping outside, and tomorrow he would be returning to Athens, for the first time in four years.
The soft beating of wings made him glance up, he smiled crookedly as Ilios padded into the firelight, the griffin was large, but young as his kind went. He had been travelling with Syn for the past six months.
"We reach Athens tomorrow Ilios. I wonder what Mother will say when I tell her the truth. In any case, we best turn in early, so we can get an early start."
Alcina breathed the night air, it was filled with the light scent of wine and sound of good cheer. People around her didn't take heed to the red headed beauty, sipping the good wine the hostess had so graciously provided her. You see, this was a wedding party for a great emperor of sorts and Alcina had just answered the prayers of the bride for guidance. It was strange to ask for her instead of her cousin, the goddess of love.
"Alcina?!" A familiar voice called throughout the large crowd

I stood over the centaur, my swords drawn. "Look buddy, I don't want to hurt you. If you just tell me what you know about all the centaur raids lately, I'll let you go. And if you stop doing them, I will never have to bother you again," I said genuinely.
The horse high breed looked away, and then said. "It is food. The groves we usually feed on have been destroyed. A pack of giants had to move after there was an avalanche in there mountains, they crushed it when they walked. We have tried magic, but it does not work."
"The echo-system, such a complex thing," I whispered, and looked at the creature in front of me. "Well man I have an answer for you. There is this grove; it bears food that centaurs usually eat. Should be enough for your pack. I have a map in my pack actually," I dove into my bag and pulled a map out, then circled the area I was talking about with clay.
"This seems like a large enough spot for us," The horse man said and he grabbed the map. "I will alert my friends and we will be off to there."
I smiled and turned back to find Jamie. I never liked to kill unless I needed too. That is why me and Jamie worked as a team, she would do anything, for when I did not have the heart, or lack of heart. And I made sure she was thinking about her next move, and not just caught up in rage.
"Took you long enough," Jamie said, she yed me, or rather what wasn't on me. "You didn't kill him?"
"No. But I ended the whole raid thing. So we can skip the centaur hunting and head over to those griffins that are in the next town," I said. Jamie nodded, and we were about to take off when the ground began to rumble.
It tore and fire danced from it. Jamie grabbed her sword, but I just waited for my father to appear. "Hello son," said the go of the dead.
"Hello father," I said and knelled. "It is strange for you to visit me. I have not seen you in two year."
"Two is a lot for must demi gods. But son this mission is for business only. You have been proven as a kind hero, kinder than most. You spare lives when ever you can, which is rare for a hero. You have so attracted some attention. The gods have arranged some tasks for you, and your friend there. The first one is to take the fang of the basilisk. When you finish you may alert me with this," the God threw me a golden drachma. "Use the Iris to contact me, she knows that you are allowed to."
With out even a good bye the black clothes figure was sucked into his hole, which closed right away
"Looks like we just became real heroes," I said.

Guys, please keep in mind that these are ancient Greek times. B.C. times. NOT the middle ages. Be careful about what type of creatures you have as characters and have as pets/mounts. That website I posted in the storybook description has a big list of all the creatures that were told of in Greek mythology. Off to the left you'll see a little box. 'Mythological Creatures' is the third bullet. Click the arrow and scroll down to Greek Mythology. Click on it and there will be a list of creatures. Please use only those. That's the link I TRIED to post, but when I did, it turned out to be the home page >< Anyway, thanks! ^^ I'll post something for Maia/Terra when I can
Also, I have a request: Boltage and WhiteTiger, if you happen upon Maia, please don't kill her :3 Or torture her. Or severely injure her XD A little smacking around isn't so bad, but nothing fatal or permanently crippling, okay? Thanks

Kaia grinned. "Alcina!" she called again. The auburn goddess turned to her.
"You know she's not going to be happy to see you," muttered Basil from behind Kaia. Kaia elbowed him.
"Kaia!" cried Alcina, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
Kaia laughed. "Oh, I thought I'd stop by..." Kaia giggled. "And pass my good wishes to the married couple.
Alcina's face fell. "Don't," she said quickly. "Really. The poor girl wants help from the gods..."
Kaia chuckled. "When do I ever cause anything major to happen?"
Alcina gave a wry smile. "Do you really want that answered?"
Kaia frowned at her. "Fine. I won't offer my congratulations."
"Thank you."
"But that doesn't mean I will leave the party. The mortals do know how to throw a good party, don't they?"
Alcina looked as if she wanted to say something, but refrained from doing so. "Please don't get into any trouble, Kaia."
"Trouble?" Kaia said lightly, eyeing the heaping table of food at the edge of the room. "Who said anything about trouble?"
"No one, Kaia. But trouble never leaves your side."
"Correction, my dear Alcina. Mischief never leaves my side. Trouble has nothing to do with it."
**Hope I got her character right...

The wedding was quite nice, excellent food and wine provided by those hosting it, plenty of intelligent personages for the sun god to converse with. Naturally, there was only one mortal at the wedding who realised who he truly was, others just took him to be an exceptionally happy, exceptionally attractive out-of-towner. He introduced himself to these people as simply 'Nim'.
"After Nimriel, the god?" One guest asked him, upon being introduced.
Nimriel's friend, an Athenian senator and a very wise man, chuckled, "Of course not, to say such a thing would be blasphemous!"
The guest nodded, contented by this answer, and went to mingle with others of the crowd. "It's blasphemous for me to give myself a shortened version of my name?" Nimriel asked, amused.
The senator shrugged, "In his eyes, yes. I'll tell you something, Nim. If he knew who you were in truth, he would be much affronted that you did not recognise him. He is a priest of some standing in our fair city. One of your own, of course."
Nimriel waved a hand dismissively, "Not the high priest, so he doesn't communicate with me to directly. Doesn't even seem to pray to me, which is disappointing. Usually, I recognise my faithful, which says something about his faith, eh?"
He looked to his side, and then paused, seeing Kaia and Alcina talking off to one side. "Ah..." he murmured, "I had that feeling."
The senator followed his gaze, seeing them as well, "Friends of yours." Nimriel nodded, and his friend threw up his hands, "Everywhere I go, I find myself hounded by the supernatural. What have I done to merit such attention."
Nimriel patted his shoulder, "Don't flatter yourself, we're all here for the wedding." He crossed the open courtyard to where the two goddesses were standing.
"Correction, my dear Alcina. Mischief never leaves my side. Trouble has nothing to do with it."
"And I did think I smelled mischief in the air." Nimriel said with a smile, "Good to see that you ladies could visit the world this happy day."

Hmm... WhiteTiger, Boltage, I think we may be in a little bit of a pickle here... Your characters are centered around their 'jobs', which is hunting and killing creatures. My characters are one, a creature, and two, the goddess of creatures and nature. So... I don't think that, realistically, the goddess of nature would tolerate her creatures being killed off, as it is, in a sense, her own job to protect them and keep them thriving, but your characters can't just stop doing what their lives are centered around. Terra can't possibly let them continue, but the idea of your characters is that they hunt creatures... Problem?
Terra-
I walked across the clouded floors of Olympus. Being a goddess was nice, but a little boring. We only had the small space of Olympus to live, or the mortal world if we chose to. I was one of the few that enjoyed spending time on Earth; primarily because it is what I was goddess of. Being close to my creatures and nature was very important to me and I spent quite a bit of time down there. I felt very close to all my creatures, and the Earth itself. It was my overall duty to protect them and ensure their safety and survival, for without them, I was nothing. Without anything to keep watch over or take care of, I may as well have just been human myself.
This was why it came as quite the shock to me when I looked upon the Earth one day to find a couple of mortals hunting and killing and torturing my creatures. Needless to say, I was a bit put out. I couldn't possibly stand by and watch them wrongfully and mindlessly murder the very life forms I sought to protect. So, without a second thought, I descended and made my way towards a small herd of centaurs, preparing to relocate. They knelt to me as I walked up to them. One of them came to me.
"My goddess," he greeted, with a slight bow of his head.
I nodded in acknowledgement. "T'would appear as though you are preparing for a vast journey. Why must you relocate?" I asked him.
"Our raids for food have become too much for the humans, and they are forcing us out, to a new location, to get our own food."
"I see..." I said thoughtfully. "Tell me my friend, who told you that you must leave?"
"Two humans. They tracked a couple of us down. My brother has fallen, and I was knocked to the ground, but otherwise unharmed," he informed me.
I nodded ever so slightly, listening carefully to everything he told me. The thought of one of my centaurs being murdered, simply to get information, made my blood boil. As the silent screams of pain from the plants around me at the heat I was emitting flowed into my ears, I stopped immediately and healed all damages.
"Any idea where they may have gone, my son?" I asked.
He shook his head, but said, "To the town, I imagine. Unless they've gone to kill more creatures," he added sarcastically. The disdain and disgust was apparent in his voice, as it was on my face.
I smiled at him promisingly. "No need to worry, my friend. I'll find them." And with that, I set off, looking for a couple of murderers.
As I glided swiftly along the grass, I looked closely in every direction. Finally, I spotted them. A boy and a girl, walking along a quiet dirt path, sure enough, towards the town. Perhaps it wasn't them, but there were two of them, and they were in the forest. I was determined to find out.
I appeared before them in a flash of green light. They watched in awe. I smiled at them, seemingly innocently.
"Terra!" I heard the boy whisper. "Oh no...!"
"Might I ask what your purpose in the forest is?"
They looked at each other nervously, then back at me. I stared at them in anticipation.

I hope I didn't make your characters seem like wimps That wasn't my intention, I swear If you guys (or anyone, for that matter) has any ideas of how to potentially solve our little problem I mentioned abvoe, please don't hesitate to share X) I'm kinda baffled and stuck here
Thanks so much

I peered over the streets of the city. There didn't seem to be anything out of order, and I didn't feel that anything interesting was going to happen in the next week or so. A smile invaded my face; finally I could just sit and relax for a bit. Most of the oracles were on a sort of break at the moment, so they wouldn't bother me with pleas to see the future and give them wisdom. I mean, I could tell the future, but wisdom was definitely not something I could do. That was better left for Alcina. Anyway, here, I could just rest, because really, I was getting extremely exhausted that people needed to know the future, because mortals weren't really meant to know what the future held, but I couldn't help it because they all looked so-
I winced as images flashed in my mind. There went the nice little vacation I thought I'd have. Oh well, a wedding sounded like fun.
"A city in turmoil as finally found peace: A wedding for a man obese Has now begun, a time for fun. But then, when night is finally done, Here comes a beast, Who comes from the east. Slaughter and chaos for all to see, And together, we all head to the sea."
I blinked. "See and sea? Not exactly right, but they are two different words." I shrugged. "Eh, it'll do. Now, time to get to this wedding. Sounds interesting."
The wedding turned out to be a few streets from where I was. I had to pass through a few houses, but I hopefully left everything untouched. If not, then I suppose the mortals would put it down to spirits. I stifled a giggle. Honestly, these mortals were so silly at times. Spirits wouldn't be able to enter the world without permission from Thanatos. I doubted that Thanatos would give them permission, though. He was just so uptight. Now, ghosts, they were probably the culprits. Impish things they were.
At the party, I tried to blend in the best I could. They hopefully wouldn't notice an extra person in a party this large. My eyes perked up when I saw a familiar face. More than one, actually. Three of them. I was surprised that he was here, though. He didn't seem like the kind of person who would like this.
"Hey you guys!" I shouted, waving at them. They were apparently in the middle of a very nice conversation when I interrupted. My fault, I supposed. Though four gods gathering all in the same place, a place that wasn't Olympus? Rare. I'd have to see how this one goes.
Draka -
I muttered to myself as I... Well, muttered wouldn't exactly be the right word. Chirped would be better, really. I needed to get to Athens really quickly, and I couldn't do that in human form. Shame, really. I rather liked those new clothes.
I would have gotten there sooner, if I didn't have to fly in my spot. Honestly, other Stymphalian birds could be so territorial. I had to fly in this one narrow strip of sky, and I couldn't leave it without them finding out and tearing the flesh from my bones. Geez, they needed to relax more.
What made things worse was that somebody was in my flight path. I couldn't see very well, but it looked like it wasn't happy. "Hey! You! Get outta the way, this is my path!"
The thing turned at me and snorted. I flinched as best as I could in bird form. It was an eagle, and things didn't look good. I wasn't was vicious as I should have been, though everyone kept saying it was a phase and it would pass, and soon, I'd be a flesh eating monstrosity in no time. But eagles ruled the sky, and nobody messed with them. The old Lord of the Sky chose the eagles as his patron, typical, and now, the big bully eagles were always picking on anything else that tried to get in the way.
"Uh, hey, I... I um... think I got something to do, so I'll just be getting out of your way now, okay?"
Easier said than done. I couldn't head left or right, or even up, since someone's path was above mine. I sure as hell couldn't go forwards, or the eagle would probably maim me, so the only thing left was down. I had the lowest of the flight paths anyway, so I wouldn't interrupt someone and get eaten by my own kin.
Imagine my surprise when I landed on a soft, warm, fuzzy pile of fur. Fur that belonged to a suddenly awake and angry griffin.
(hope you don't mind if Draka drops in on Syn)
There once was a cat. He wasn’t particularly fat. Fuzzy was his favorite mat. And really, that was that.
Oh, but did you really think so? Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show! And as for how far this tale will go… Well, even the cat doesn’t know.
Age: 6000 (looks around 24 in his human form, he can't remember what age he was when he died)
Gender: male
God of: Element of desert, hunger, thirst, death, ressurection and of course... famine lol.
To sustain himself, he needs to absorb energy from another living thing, thus killing that creature. If he does not do this, he begins to waste away in his human form.
People who are around him slowly have their energy zapped away, even if he doesn't mean to absorb it. They become famished, parched, thin and sick just from being near him.
He can ressurect the dead as skeletons, his only real defence when in his human form. If he is weak without energy, he cannot transform into his dragon form.
Appearance: In his human form, he has very pale skin, scrawny, tall, with fair hair that's almost white, and golden eyes. He has a brittle appearance, as if he could be easily hurt.
History: He was once a dragon shapeshifter, but perished in a desert while looking for his friend, who was captured by creature hunters. In the underworld he was given his title, his new name and his powers.
Personality: He is bold, headstrong and feels no fear. He is happy to be on his own but likes company. He usually ends up killing anyone close to him by mistake so usually avoids contact with people for long.
Other: Meh. Don't think anyone would love him but hey, up for love.
It's Famine's job to collect lost souls that where never put to rest.
I've got another character but I'll post them when I get the picture for their appearance sorted They'll probably be a god or godess of serpents, or else the seasons. Dunno. can't decide right now
