*sure!!*
** sorry i kind of want arista to start in her "scene"*
Alcina/Arista~~

A blond danced across the large spacious garden, every step leaving someone either laughing harder or more intoxicated. Her hips swayed back and forth making sure every beat was met and leading the rest of the dancers to do the same. The song came to a close and she left the guffawed audience to their clapping. She averted her eyes from the groom's father who was looking her way.

She made her way, eyebrows raised towards the one who caught her eye the most. The red head who sat in the corner watching and waiting.

"What are you doing here sister?" She asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

"I was invited," The sister didn't make eye contact as she sipped again.

"Invited," The blond laughed, "That's new! Who wants to think when they are having fun hm Alcina?"

"You would be surprised," The auburn noted.

The blond's beam flickered.

"There is word of a hero to fix your wreck," Alcina's lips curled again, her eyes finally meeting her sister's burning glare.

"My wreck?" The blond goddess laughed, "What on earth are you talking about?"

"YEah, you know that thing they had to banish to that island? Agonia was it?"

Kaia

"Don't do it, Kaia. It would be very immature of you."

"Oh, because I'm so much younger than you, Basil," snapped Kaia. "I was alive for hundreds of year before you were even thought of."

Basil raised an eyebrow. Kaia pursed her lips and rolled her eyes. Basil chuckled. Kaia looked around at the great hall. All the gods were here. Kaia really wished she could cause a glass of wine to spill over a goddess, or a plate of food to explode in a god's face. But Basil wouldn't hear of it. And as much as it pained Kaia to admit it, he was right.

Kaia had recently been in big trouble with Jade, goddess of the night, for playing an innocent, harmless little prank on her. Kaia thought it probably best to keep a low profile until Jae had cooled down.

"I know that face, Kaia..." said someone warningly behind her. "What are you planning?"

Startled, Kaia turned to face the deity.

*Just so everyone knows, this Syn's adoptive 'human' mother. Not his birth mother, he is not related to her by blood.*

Syn-

Syn stood outside in the villa doors, watching a woman enjoying the extensive gardens. Smiling he took a step forward and spoke to draw her attention. "Mom? It's me Syn, I'm home."

The woman turned and stared at him for a while, she was short with long golden hair, and brilliant green eyes. Her dress was simple white, banded in gold embroidery. "Syn?" She rushed forward and hugged her much taller son. "Thank you gods for bring my son home."

Smiling sadly Syn, hugged her back. "Trust me Mom. It's not the gods you should thank." She pulled back and stared at him, shaking her head in amazement. "Look at you, you've gotten so much taller in the past four years. You must tell me everything that's happened to you.

He laughed. "Tonight, I promise. There's something I have to do in the city first, but I couldn't wait to see you. I'll be back, and I'll tell you everything over dinner."

"What do you need to do?"

"I have questions that need answers. I heard the Oracle was visiting the city, and thought I'd pay her a visit."

Kaga-

He stood on the balcony of his palace overlooking the fields of Olympus. Behind him the shadows twisted as Thanatos stepped into the room. "What do you want with me Kaga. You and I don't exactly see eye to eye."

Setting his goblet down he turned to the older god. "A matter that concerns us both. There's a boy in Athens. Long black hair, blue-green eyes, handsome, young. Someone who should be dead but isn't."

"Oh, really?" He cocked an eyebrow. "And just who is this boy, to have drawn the attention of the Judgement God?"

Kaga crossed his arms and glared at the death god. "That is none of your concern. All you need to know is that he is someone who lived when he should have died."

Famine

I know that face, Kaia..." I said warningly a good distance behind her. "What are you planning?"
Kaia turned to face me, flinching slightly when she saw who it was. "Famine... how are you?"

My appearance answered the question for her. I was not my usual scrawniness, but even thinner than usual. People parted around me to avoid their energy being slowly zapped away from their bodies. Kaia took a step backwards. I frowned a little, my golden eyes narrowing.

"Now now, Kaia, don't change the subject," I attempted to say in a lighter tone, grinning wryly and winking. She relaxed slightly with a sigh, a small smile on her face.

"You know me Famine, I would never be planning something," she said with an uneasy laugh. I thought it best to leave at that point. Many found my presence positively allergic; Kaia was probably no different.

"Enjoy your night," I said, turning away, running my hand through my almost white hair angrily. It's not as if I could kill anyone here anyway, so why was I always avoided?

Skylark

I patrolled the skies, flapping my black wings with a snap and climbing the thermals, my beady jackdaw eyes darting to and fro across the horizon. I let my wings rest and glided for a few beats, before commencing again.

The skies had been clear tonight, but I was still reluctant to leave their vast expanse for the God and Goddess banquet that was happening tonight. It was my duty to protect them and I doubt I could if I was partying with the other dieties.

I sighed as I soared above the cities below scanning the navy stars, not expecting to see anything really. All was quiet. So why was I still here?

I curled in my scaly feet closer to my feathered body, trying not to give in and head back to the party.

Alcina~~

Alcina walked through the town with a shawl covering some of her hair. Her golden red hair gleamed in the little moonlight that was available as she attempted to blend with the the early night crowd. As she walked past, a fight broke up, a woman slapped the man she was with and huffed off, also the local drunk walked out of his supplier. The air was filled with the starts of night bantering and the daily dish of gossip. But the goddess didn't care, for the red heads eyes were trained on a white stone temple away from the rest. As she approached it her aura seemed to glow more, she attempted to hide it with her shawl but luckily people didn't notice, for they were too busy with thier own matters.

SHe walked up the ivory steps that seemed to glow in the moonlight, like her hair.

"Excuse me," Alcina's melody like voice broke the silence of the temple.

"May I help you?" The cleaner looked up from her dusting, the temple was large for such a small town. It reminded her of that great party she had to attend tonight.

"I came to see the ora-" The young woman interrupted the goddess.

"The oracle is sleeping you can see him in the morning," The woman spat.

"Bad day huh?" Alcina's words seemed to drop on her head like bricks.

"You haven't heard? I swear even olympus should know by now," A glimmering tear hit the ground, under from which the lady stood.

"Oh I'm sure Olympus hasn't heard it yet" Alcina cooed as she stepped closer.

"I- I- was supposed to be married off to a rich man," The girl poured for the goddess, Alcina sat down next to her on the already cleaned floors, "But they caught me with my lover, my true love, and have now sentenced him to death. The marriage is called off and I am stuck here, alone for the rest of eternity."

People just spilled their guts to the auburn haired goddess, it was part of the thought process to review things.

"What are you going to do about it?"

"DO about it?" THe words formed in the girl's mouth like jelly, "I could- No too risky." Alcina's eyes met the girl's.

"Is being too risky better than loosing him?" She asked as the girl quickly got up and started running out.

"Thankyou!" The girl cried as Alcina's shawl was blown down by the wind. The girl's eyes became wide.

"Go," Alcina mouthed.

"YOu just sent the girl to her death," A voice came from behind him.

"I know, but it's better than being alone for eternity. The god of judgement will see them through." THe goddess stood up and faced her old friend.

"Admes!" She threw her arms around the oracle's neck.

"Shh I'm the oracle remember?" He chuckled, "What brings you to meet me here?"

Alcina put her hand over her lips as she motioned to the statues, Admes nodded. They both knew the statues could hear but not see. Admes led her to his room in a house nearby.

"I came to speak of the Apocalyptic son," She eased onto the wooden chair, "I iwas thinking about what you said thirty years ago." The man stopped in mid way of pouring tea and collected himself.

"What did I say then? It was so long ago," He asked as he handed the goddess some.

"How I was supposed to help him but would be my own downfall," Alcina sipped the bitter sweet tea. The door cracked open.

Hector

The grass was rainsoaked, the air was cool, it was a properly chilly night but Hector didn't feel any of it. He lay atop a grassy hill and gazed toward the sky. The grass did not bend under him.

"The god's are feasting." he stated aloud. "They feast, they enjoy their lives."

Hector sighed and turned his head to his left. The tall grass in the fields swayed peacefully in the night air. In the distance a young girls laughter could be heard. Hector sat up and searched the field.

A young girl ran through the field and laughed as a young man chased her. They were illuminated in the moonlight as they frolicked. The man caught her at last and they fell to the ground, obscured by the tall grass.

"Oh, to be in love." Hector sighed. "To be able to be in love. How I wish to have my beloved with me again."

Hector stood now and looked to the sky. "Curse you, gods! You took my life and doomed me to watch my beloved take her own! Curse you!" he yelled to the heavens.

He fell to his knees, the tears sliding down his face. "My beloved..." he weeped.

Elysia

The forest was quiet tonight. Everything was peaceful, the creatures were safe. Elysia smiled to herself as she wandered among the trees.

"Thank the goddess Terra for her love." she said as she walked.

A rustling came from the bushed behind her.

"Who is there?" Elysia called. The noise had been too loud to be anything but human.

*lizzifer: Can Thea be the girl you sent into death? 3 characters are to much for me...*
*I'm so confused. hope I get this right*

----------

Philomela

I wondered through the Forrest.
Alone.
Tonight I wanted to be alone.
Thea was gone gone forever. The only human I had ever trusted.
And it was Alcinas fault.
We actually were alike. both thinkers. She the intellectual and me the musical one.
She would pay. Normally I wasn't one of the people for revenge, but she had basically killed my soul mate.
I walked on. My thoughts turning around revenge.
I stepped on a branch.
"Who is there?" a voice asked.
I stepped toward the noise to show myself.
"My lady!" (how do other characters refer to gods?) A forest nymph stood opposite me. Eyes wide.
I forces a smile on.
I liked nymphs as much as I loved humans.
Suddenly I felt the urge to talk.
"Elysia. Nice to see you..."
Life isn't fair,
its just fairer than death,
that's all...

Kaia

Kaia paused as she reached to pop yet another grape in her mouth. She heard the voice deep in the back of her skull.

"Curse you, gods! You took my life and doomed me to watch my beloved take her own! Curse you!"

Kaia raised her eyebrows, a wry smile growing on her face. Basil noticed.

"What?"

"I heard a - " Kaia broke of. "Never mind. Come with me... there is something I must investigate..."

Kaia set off briskly for the gardens outside the god's palace. Kaia turned to Basil, holding out her arm to him. Automatically, her linked arms with her. Closing her eyes, Kaia willed herself to go to the source of the voice. there was the usual feeling of being slapped in the face by a gust of cold wind, and then Kaia was standing at the base of a grassy hill.

"Ah," she said, eyeing a figure at the top of the hill. "Here we are..."

"What happened?" Basil muttered, his eyes on the figure as well.

"Oh, he just cursed the gods... He's fortunate, really, that it was me that heard him, and not any other god..."

Basil chuckled. "I suppose so."

Kaia flashed him a smile, and began to march up the hill. The figure, now revealed to be a man, paid her no heed. Kaia raised an eyebrow toward Basil.

"Good evening," said Kaia pleasantly. The man jumped. Kaia grinned.

"Who a - ?"

"I am Kaia, Goddess of Mischief."

The man bowed. Kaia rolled her eyes. "I heard what you said about the gods a moment ago..." she said lightly. "You are very lucky that I was the one to overhear you..."

The man laughed. "What are the gods going to do now? Kill me?"

Famine

I sighed, watching the Gods eat with a little hint of jealousy. Eating was a pointless excersise now, I could only truly sustain myself on something already living. I made my way for the door as the other dieties began to groan from headaches and feel lightheaded from my very being.

Thanatos had been right all along, the banquet was a ridiculous idea. The thought of his name reminded me that he had ordered my precence at an excecution of a girl, sometime tomorrow. I would have to go and visit him for more information before day break.

A cold breath of air hit my face as I stepped out onto the vast grassy lawn, the fresh green blades withering at my feet and the ground becoming hard, dry and cracked.
I strode past Kaia and a man who were talking, not paying attention to their words as I made for the forest.

When I reached the fortress of trees, I gazed between the bark covered pillars and into the dark depths within. Already the sound of forest animals hit my ears, and I suddenly felt weak and dizzy after not absorbing energy for so long.

I closed my eyes for a moment, zoning away from the world, and focusing on shifting, thinking of nothing else. Then began my morbid transformation. My flesh fell away from my body and my skeleton morphed and grew, as a ghostly black aura surrounded my blank, skull head and whiped outwards from my bony tail.

I trotted into the forest, my bones rattling in a small shiver. My whole sense of sight had changed dramatically. I saw souls, bright colourful dancing souls instead of an animal's earthly form. The green, prancing outlines of a dear heard danced mockingly not far ahead, energy just waiting to be zapped.

My bone claws touched the leaf littered ground of the forest silently as the souls got closer. I paused when I was about three meters away, one claw hung suspended in mid air.
The stag deer raised his head from grazing, his ears perked up in alarm as he scanned across his herd for any aigns of trouble. I grinned when his dark eyes fell on me, and a loud roar of terror burst from his lungs as he faced the dragon like face of death himself.

I leaped, my thick claws catching him around the throat as I gripped him by the neck the whole way around, being careful not to hurt the stag too much in case he lost vital energy.

With a roar, I devored every last drop of his life force, as the stag whithered into nothingness in my arms.

I dropped the skeleton on the floor, feeling my energy replenished. I sighed in contentment, pausing for a short second before chasing after the rest of the deer herd, tackling another one to the ground.

*I figured Terra might get ticked about that, lol*

Syn-

He stood outside the room. Syn didn't understand why he was hesitating, he'd been searching for answers for the past four years. Now that he actually might get some he was turning tail. "Someone please. Tell me who I am." He thought.

Taking a deep breath Syn opened the door and stepped inside.

*I'm tired, I can't really think of a way to start this conversation.*

Elysia

Elysia curtsied politely to the earthbound goddess. "It is glorious to see you my dear Philomela."

Philomela smiled, however unconvincingly.

"What brings you to my fine forest tonight?" Elysia asked.

Hector

"What are the gods going to do now? Kill me?" he laughed. This visit is absurd, don't most of those up in mighty Olympus know I am already being punished?

The goddess raised an eyebrow. "That is exactly what they could do, but you are lucky that I heard you as I am not as quick to punish as they are."

Hector couldn't believe what he was hearing. "I am already being punished. They couldn't do anything worse to me."

"Death is not worse?" the goddess' companion jumped in.

Hector rolled his eyes. "Look at me, do you not see how my feet touch the ground yet do not disturb the grass? Touch me, you can feel your hand go right through my body. I am already dead."
