Summery- One of my darker works (no need to worry about overly-cute stuff here! ). It's told from the perspective of a dark elf during an earthquake, and why earthquakes are caused. (It's got magical roots, of course. )

Brief Summary: Set in a parallel universe where people have wings. A girl without wings is discovered, as possible proof that travel between universes is possible. First chapter in what will hopefully be an epic novel, or whatever.

This is a contest entry. It's in Other Fiction, called 'Green with Envy' for the moment, and is kind of hard to explain without killing it completely. Though it's not the same contest as Dakota, it has the same deadline, and I'm really looking for a harsh review. Please and thank you.
