Wesley

"Hello Children" went the same voice from the room, it was Zachariah. "Now just to inform you all, the games have begun and already there seems to have been some deaths..." he let out a chuckle. "For our first game, we'll be seeing how many of you can with stand... seperation" he laughed again. Seperation... what was this guy playing at?, I asked myself and then it dawned on me, Cody to. What Addison had said... They were going to seperate us, or worse, have the two of us seperated from the group and put together for the joy of the shadows to watch. "I have shadows coming to get those special teens out there, do not resist them or you'll be killed instantly and where is the fun in that?"

It was a long, silent pause until I heard the shadows coming and Cody stood up. Brahn was already at the cave intrance, ducked down because he had seen the shadows to...

Frost ~ 16 ~ Were/Vamp ~ Night Lands

Frost quickly put the fire out, picking up her blades and setting them in their rightful places, sliding one into her boot, two on each of her sides, and one onto her back, shifting into her wolf form. Her pelt shimmered and turned black, the jewel and her eyes turning a crimson. He crouched at the mouth of the cave, her senses picking up all kinds of shadows. "Only three headed are way right now. All the others are going after the smaller kids," she whispered, backing away from the cave slowly and in between Shinar and Brahn, teeth bared and ready for the fight. She rocked back on her haunches, waiting impatiently as her eye and back seared angrily. She glanced up at Brahn, whose jaw was clenched and hands on his blades, ready to whip them out at any given moment. Frost silently summoned a large group of black wolves that waited in the shadows behind all of them, their growls silent and only edible to extremely sensitive ears. Frost's pelt itched in anticipation, ready to play the games for a second time in her life.

"You ready?" Frost asked Brahn mentally, her features softening for a moment before hardening again at the snap of a twig right outside the cave.

*Note: Frost can grow larger and smaller if she wants, as can Shinar*

*you have to let the shadows take you sooner or later, but you can still try and fight if you want, do not try to protect erin or wesley*

Wesley & Erin

"Hello children" said the voice of Addison, using a mocking tone of voice from her brother. "Don't worry, I'm only here for two of you... the others are coming for the rest" she said and eyed me and Erin, "Wesley, Erin, your wanted for the Night Games" she said and gestured for us to follow her. I picked up Erin in my arms and walked past Frost and Brahn, not looking back at Cody. Why...? .

Brahn, 18, Night Lands

"Hey, stop!" He yelled, drawing Addison's attention as Wesley and Erin approached. "That Nathaniel person said it was about separation, and we all know well enough it's about making each other suffer. So why take those two? Only Cody is attached to them, you'd be doing yourselves great injustice by only affecting one person."

"Brahn, stop!" Frost yelled in his mind, pushing her body up against his legs. Addison chuckled.

"Why, you're right." Smirking, he grabbed Brahn's shoulder and kicked him on the leg where he had been injured. As Brahn fell, the shadow took his blades and threw them deeper into the cave. "We'll take you, also."

"No, Brahn, please! Frost's voice seemed scratchy, as if she was trying to hold back feelings she held.

"Frost, grab by blades, bring them with you, I need them."

*Wesley and Erin are going to have to lead this one, I'll just follow along with what happens during this game.*

Frost:

Frost watched angrily as the scene played out before her eyes. She shifted into her regular form, calling a wolf forth with Brahn's blades and making it drop them in her hand. She sucured them onto her waist, staring into Brahn's eyes as Addison led him and the others away. Tears stung behind both of her eyes as she stood there, taking Shinar back out. She turned to her wolves and called the larger one forward, whispering something into its mind and sending it off to follow Addison. Frost channeled what the wolf saw with her bad eye, her good one open to anything else.

"Please, be careful," she said to Brahn. Listening to the sadness in her voice made her cringe lightly. She looked over at Cody and Max, whom were both also watching.

Brahn, 18, Captive of the Shadows

Brahn sighed, struggling to loosen the bonds around his wrists. The sound of Frost's voice lingered in his mind, the obvious fear and worry in her tone devoiding him of all sense.

"Cut it out, boy. The bonds are enchanted, they won't break, not even for you." Addison grumbled, leadng their group through a large, open valley. Brahn opened his mind to Wesley's and Erin's.

"Are you two okay?" He asked, trying to sound worried.

"Yes, we're fine. Why'd you do that Brahn?" Wesley's voice boomed in his head, and the small noise that meant agreement from Erin.

"I wish I knew." He replied, clenching his jaw.

"Well you're the one who did it, so you're the one who should know." Wesley's voice sounded cold and demeaning. Brahn mentall sighed.

"You're right. I didn't want them singleing you two out. You could handle your own, but Erin is too young and too small." He replied, hiding the real reason for doing what he did from Wesley. Exactly what kind of a man would want to protect a young girl just because he murdered his sisters? Better yet, exactly who would understand?

Wesley & Erin

Erin was practicaly attached to my hip as we walked through the forests, other shadows had joined us in time and with them bringing other children I'd seen from the room. We were all scared by now, even Brahn I knew, was scared. Just don't let Cody come after us..., I thought to myself.

"Wesley... Where do you think they're taking us?" Erin asked, her whisper breaking the silence that had iovercome or group.

"I don't know" I lied, knowing that the most likely place was to the Night Keeper where he would then have all of us do something for his game. Erin sighed and everything went quiet again.

"Addison!" went the unfamiliar voice of a shadow from ahead of us, whoever it was had to have a lot of authority to speak to Addison that way. What I saw made me blink twice to make sure I wasn't dreaming, she was actually kind looking, as far as shadows could get, but still had the look that she was a friend. The shadows leading us gave small gestures of bowing and stopped us all, making us bow as well.

"Yes, Night Queen?" Addison said and made a face, obviously she didn't like this Night Queen.

"I've come for the two, Wesley and Erin" the Night Queen said in her melodic voice. Us?, I asked myself and felt Erin tighten beside me. "Don't give me that face Addy, I have straight orders from Zachariah" she said and smiled at Erin who fearfully looked away.

*Natasha is the one who helped Erin's mother win the Night Games, she recognized Erin and Wesley reminded her of a young boy she knew a couple of decades ago who she helped win the Night Games as well, this boy was Wesley's father*

Darkness gently tongued Whispers face. She rose and River and Sunny were...gone.
Whisper jerked around as she heard a gentle breeze that wasn't the wind. A shadow, Whisper thought.
"It's about time you woke. You must of had a tiring night. It took us thirty minutes to find you," the shadow said sourly. Whisper had then realized that she was surrounded by her kind. The shadow continued."The first challenge of the night games is separation. Yes, this means your pretty little kitty comes with us." As the shadow reached for Darkness, he fell and screamed. His night mare had began. Whisper gave the horrific glare that she had given many before to let them know she will fight. As the shadows dove after her they fell, one by one.
After her victory all the shadows that were defeated were clutching their stomach, neck, legs, chest, or head in pain. As she was about to turn around, her head was pounded against. The last thing she heard was Darkness roar in pain.
Whisper moaned as her eyes slowly opened. She was in an enclosed room. No, an enclosed cave. No, it was....a cave but it wasn't enclosed. There was...water. As she regained her sight she realized she was on a little island in the center of a lake. The forest was noticeable and not far. Whisper looked around and threw herself upon the ground. She was suddenly lost in thought.
"Great. Just Great. Darkness is gone. Sunny is gone. And....*gasp* River! River is gone. Oh, stop it Whisper. He is just a guy. Why are you so obsessed with him? It's not obsession. It's more like.....oh, dangit! I don't know how to explain it. Maybe love? NO! Stop, stop, stop! You think about him again I will put you in a nightmare! No. I would never do that to myself. It's to terrifying. All the blood. The screams. The faces." Whisper shuddered at the thought of the terrible dreams she created as she was lost once again."All the faces. So many faces. Well what in the world am I going to do now? I have nothing. Nobody. Shut up, Whisper! You don't need anything or anybody! Who am I kidding? I need something. They changed the games up. We never had this part of the game last time I played. Hell, I was the one who helped decide the games last time. It's in my blood, my nature. The shadows. I am a murderer. An enjoyer of murders. An enjoyer of screams, of the faces...oh, the faces. Whisper! An enemy! Shhh. Listen. Sounds like a one hundred sixty pounds. Mm, six feet tall. Oh my goodness! It's a turtle-bear. Just leave it alone. It's a baby looking for its mom....I wish I was looking for mine. Yours is dead! I could still look for her. She could be alive. Whisper, just sleep. No! How dare you think that! You can't sleep! You haven't slept in ten years! What makes you think you need to now?" Whisper stopped thinking and stood. She looked at the dark water. "Why is this water so dark?" Whisper asked herself. She had to get to the forest so she dove into the water. She came out on the dirt. She stood up and looked at herself. Whisper screamed in horror. The water was...blood. Crimson red...blood! "What now? I am fearing my own culture. This is going to be a long game." Whisper thought as she, once again, searched for a clear spring.

**I'm so lost, (I've read all the posts) But if this is wrong whatever**

Cody

I stood frozen, I knew the look I was staring at the ground, the same look I had when my mother died before me, frozen, helpless, anger... Something else, something painful. I stood and stared at the ground.

"Cody... Cody... Damnit, Cody!" A voice said, someones voice... who's voice???

Brahn, 18, Captive of the Shadows

Brahn averted his gaze as this Night Queen looked at him. She walked up to him and grabbed his chin. "Hmmm, handsome indeed. I have heard a lot about you, Brahn Ravahldar. Seems you have one odd past." She smiled and laughed, scanning the crowd. Brahn closed his eyes.

Just let me return to Frost soon...

**Erg.. a bit confuzzled here. Don't know what to write but I'll give it a shot**

Frost:

Frost watched what was happening through her wolf, her lip raised in a snarl as Natasha greeted to group. Shinar nudged her leg, a growl raising in his throat. She glanced over at Cody (where's Max?) and studied him once over, still pondering to trust him or not. Frost growled when Natasha gripped Brahn's chin, then gasped and fell back as her vision eye showed Addison walking towards her wolf, raising a blade and stabbing through it. Frost held her eye tightly, crouched on the ground in pain. She whimpered and the vision blacked out completely, the wolf sinking into the ground. She spat out profanities and finally stood back up, her legs itching to chase after the shadows.

*okay... a bit bored here, so i'm allowing you to go after the shadows, by order of Natasha the shadows can't kill you, but they can fight you*

Wesley & Erin

"What do you want with us this time?" I asked the Night Queen as she walked up to me, her unusually kind eyes staring me down. She had opened her mouth to speak until Erin interupted her.

"I know who you ar-" but the Night Queen shut her up, Addison gave her a long, hard stare and smiled to herself.

"The other children are coming... how stupid of them" she anounced and poised herself to fight.

Night Queen

Brahn shivered as I stood next to him. Growls escaped from the lips of so many of the others around me. Seeing for the need of my departure, I turned away.
"Farewell all," I said.
Addison stared at me in disgust as I took Erin and Wesley. The children were frightened, probably wondering if they should trust me. The night was cool and dark. It was the perfect time for the Night Games but I did not like them. As the two children whispered amongst themselves, I wondered what I would do with them. Zachariah had never found out about me taking these children to safety or if he had he would never approve.

Cody

"Are you alright?" I asked the one they called Frost, she looked pale as a ghost and I was afraid she would pass out. I held out my hand to her.

She slapped it away and growled. "I'm fine, I don't need your help."

I pulled my hand back. "I'm not the enemy you know... You CAN trust me." I told her.

She looked uneasy and hard to convince but it was the truth, I was the one who could be trusted.

**Yessss!**

Frost:

"Whatever," Frost spat, standing up, her eye burning. "Let's just go get them. Well, I am, you don't have to if you don't want," she finally gave into the urge and shot after the shadows, not bothering to look back at Cody to see if he was following. She ran through the tree branches as Shinar and the other wolves ran below her, barking loudly for the coming battle. She flipped onto a branch right above the group, watching as her wolves attacked the countless shadows. Right when a large shadow turned its back to the tree she was in to fight one of the red eyed wolves Frost jumped down, lunging her large were-wolf marked sword through its back, listening to it scream and pulling out her blades before it hit the ground. Her eyes glew red and her lips were raised in a snarl. She was angry, a side of her that nobody would ever want to see.
