I looked down at her, I wanted to know her thoughts and it drove me crazy that I wouldn't know unless she wrote it out in blood or spilled her guts. Which in my opinion doesn't sound good either way.
"Your not afraid of me." I said, narrowing my eyes turning them from aqua to icey blue, I let her see my fangs, and I let my skin turn paler. "You sure?"
She stood perfectly still and didn't cringe. This time it's her freezing hand that touched my cheek.
"I'm positive." She didn't let her voice shake, which made me like her a lot more as a human being. She stood on her tip toes her lips inches from mine, her hands on both sides of my face, she closed her eyes and her lips brushed against mine. I took her wrists gently and held her away from me. I couldn't kiss her, it would bring so much pain emotionally back to me, she was trying to climb a wall I had built to keep the world out.
"Lets look for that firewood..." I said had her lead the way I was sure to stay several steps behind her.
