***Someone bring our people to your people, cause I don't know where y'all are.***

Laney:

Laney heard Velna softly singing. She always did that when she was bored.

"Where are you from, Aren?" Laney asked over Velna's singing.

**We're in a bar inside the town.**

Ra'enya

I shrugged as he took a seat. Alesha shied away slightly.

"Just being friendly," I responded coolly. "Is that so wrong?"

Aren:

I smiled. "Everywhere actually." I grinned and looked at her. she was...I gulped and looked away. sMaybe it's not a good idea that I travel with you." I said hesitantly. I wanted to kiss her. I really do. Child, my mind hissed. But I couldn't see her as a child. I gulped and diverted my gaze. I couldn't look at her.

Alesha:

I nervoudly looked at her. "Are you insane?" I hissed. "We shouldn't get inbolved!" I paled. I was scared stiff! I twitched nervously.

Laney:

"It's up to you." Laney replied as she spotted a town.

"What Laney means to say is if she didn't want you following she would've chased you off already. So Unless you want to leave you can stick around." Velna smiled back at him. She yawned and laid on Laney shoulder closing her eyes. "She is just not too good with people."

Aren:

I was nervous. I was so stupid sometime. I saw the town in front of us. "Why did you let me travel with you?" I asked, a serious expression shadowing my face. I pushed some stray strands of black hair out of my eyes. I looked into hers and clinched my fists so I wouldnzt touch her. I didn't want her mad at me. I felt sick. I sighed and waited for her answer.

Laney:

"Cause traveling with just a fairy get's old at times. I haven't been around another wolf in years. As Velna said, I'm not sociable." She replied. "Now I think this is where Lethero is supposed to be. Least I hope he is here, it will make life easier."

Velna:

Velna sat up when she heard what Laney said. "If he isn't then what do we do. This was the last place on the list of places he could be."

"I'm not sure, Vel, I'm really not sure."

Aren:

I couldnzt look at her. "C-can I ask you something else?" I said softly.

"Of course." she smiled.

I figited nervously. I gently raised her hand to my lips and kissed it, feeling my heart pound. "Thanks." I said softly. "For letting me come."

I released her hand and straitened, heading toward the town. "Lethero right?" I asked, trying to act casually.

Ra'enya

I looked at her, finally putting my hand over hers. "It's okay, Alesha. Remember what I told you."

Sano looked at us curiously. I turned my attention back to him.

"Actually...I was hoping you would help us. We're on a quest...to avenge my clan."

Ryder ran swiftly past houses, markets, and children playing their games. Her home was practically in the woods it was so far from the village, but she liked it, it was quiet. As she passed the rests of the houses she saw the back of hers, it faced the woods and...it was really quiet. Something was wrong. She walked around to the front of her house and different emotions raged over her. Shock, anger, fear, sadness. Her door was ripped off its hinges, she stepped inside and the whole place was ripped apart. Things were carved into her walls.

"YOU FILTH DESERVE TO DIE!"

"AN ABOMINATION OF GOD!"

Ryder kicked a broken chair and looked for her sythe, she was going to rip the heads off whoever did this to her. She found it, along with everything else strewn on her floors, broken into two. She screamed.

Ryder stormed out and flew into the air, she was looking for any people not from this town, maybe they new something. Two people were entering the village. It looked like a man and a woman...maybe werewolves? She soared down and landed in front of them.

"Who are you?" They both took a step back. Ryder's stare was ice cold. "I said, who are you?"

"We are Laney and Aren. I am looking for Lethero." The female said.

"Oh, all right. You can follow me then." Ryder walked fast to Lethero's home, and without knocking opened the door with force, they all looked up. She held the two pieces of her sythe up.

"Someone trashed my home, and I want their heads. Can you fix this?" Ryder said, anger making her whole body shake.
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

"My desires were bestial, obviously." -Jeffery Dahmer.

*Lethero Senior will be my second character. His description is basically the same as Lethero Jr., but he is eighty something. History: One of the survivin' heros of the War. He is hardy and wise in war.*

Lethero Sr.

Lethero sighed. "Is there any indication to who did this?"

"Isn't it obvious!" Ryder yelled. "It was the darm humans!"

"Are you sure of that?"

"They wrote abomination and filth on my wall!" Ryder pulled out the remains of her scythe. "And they destroyed my scythe. "When I find who did this I will skin them alive and hang their skins on my wall."

"You have two people following you it seems."

"Oh, them. They were asking for you in town."

"Are you Lethero?" said one of the strangers. "The Lethero, the hero of the War?"

"I am not the only hero of the War, but yes I am the Lethero you seek. Why do you seek me?"

Zel-

I stepped up to the girl who had brought out the broken scythe as the older Lethero began to talk to the new pair.

"May I?" I asked, holding out my hand and nodding towards the broken weapon. She nodded slowly and haded it to me.

It wasn't heavily damaged, and the break was clean. It looked like it had been done with a sword instead of with a knee. I gripped each broken end so that they touched and closed my hand around them, murmuring the words that would mend it.

After a moment, I smiled at her and opened my hand, revealing a unbroken scythe. There was no mark on it from where it had been broken. I handed it back to her and watched as she turned it around and swung it to test whether it would stay fixed.

"It can still be broken again, but for the meantime, it's fixed to exactly what it used to be. Later, if you want, I could try to toughen the material so that it would be harder to break. But I would need to make sure I still remember the spell before I try it on your scythe," I said, shrugging nonchalantly.

Ryder squealed and hugged the man who had fixed her sythe, and as he grunted she turned red again and backed off of him.

"Er...sorry about...that...yeah..." Ryder stared at her feet and Lethero Jr. chuckled at her.

"She gets a little over excited." He said and Ryder shot him a harsh glare.

"I actually didn't mind the hug, it was the end of the sythe sticking into my side that was a bit unfomfortable." he laughed and Ryder blushed even more. "Would you excuse me a moment? I just need to sit." He walked over to sit down on a chair.

"So who is he?" Ryder asked Lethero Jr. who was still hanging around there.

"That's Alje's heir, you know, the dragon that fought with my father...and your mother."

"Woah...what's his name?"

"Zel I think it was." Ryder giggled.

"Zel huh? Man he's-"

"Say cute and I will have him use a spell on you to mold your lips together. Actually...that doesn't sound like a bad idea...hmmm..." Ryder's eyes widened and she squeaked.

"No No that's ok, I won't say cute."

"Good."

"He is kinda hott though." she giggled.

"Ryder...." he growled and she ran over to sit around the others, smiling back at him triumphantly.

Laney:

"I'm Laney, Nicarga was my mother." Laney said looking at Lethero Sr. He looked just like her mother had said he would. There was another man that looked like a younger version of her.

"Was?" Lethero Sr. asked.

"She died." Laney replied. Velna poked her head out of Laney's pocket and looked around.

"Remember, you were supposed to tell him how!" Velna said looking up at her. Laney chewed on her cheek.

Velna:

Velna frowned. Laney wasn't going to tell them that Nicarga had been murdered. That someone was out after all the heros of the war. She would probably tell him that he was in danger. But the fact that Laney's best friend had killed her best friend was something she didn't want to tell. That was Laney's battle, at least that was what she told herself. Velna shook her head. She didn't understand Laney.

*Hope that is ok.*

Aren:

I waited for the answer. I didn't belong here...I shouldn't have come. and yet I couldn't leave either. I looked around. There were so many different type of creatures. I smiled at the brownie and saw a bird women blush at a young dragon. I bit my lip. I ran a hand through my hair and tried to avoid watching Laney bite her gorgeous lips...the way she stood...

I shook my head. I was an idiot. we were on the verge of war and I was fantasizing about a "child." I sighed. she was three years younger than me. She was off limits. But...

I growled lowly and turned my attention back to the conversation at hand.
