I bolted when I heard the screaming. Forget talking to Sano, people were in danger.

"Alesha!" I shouted over the crowd, looking for her as I entered the streets. Panic was everywhere, and it was impossible to find her. "Shit!"

I looked up. Black dragons were swooping in on the town, rampaging and killing and destroying. I gasped as a memory came forth. I had seen these dragons. I had seen this pattern. I had seen their wrath. I had seen it all, and survived it all. These were the dragons that had killed my family, ruined my life.

Fury overtook me, and I attacked. I put all of my force into my magical attacks, beating and tearing into one dragon - literally - with my Darkness until it fell out of the sky. Then I moved on to another. And another.

They would all die for what they had done to my life.

Alesha:

I heard her call my name and turned towards her. I saw Ray race across. I ran after her and let out a scream as claws ripped into my back.

I could feel blood running down my back. I screamed again as more was taken out. I heard a curse and saw someone change before I lost conciousness and callapsed, bloody from the dragons claws. Before I callapsed, however, I shot an arrow into one of their hearts.

My eyes strayed back over to the dog demon that didn't leave. It was strange that I was ignoring the screams, that I was listening more to the dog's conversation than my own. I looked over to Draco see if he moved at the sound of the shrieks, but they ultimately wandered their way back over to the dog.

He hadn't said anything back to me when I called him a mutt. Why did this feel like he punched me in the stomach? And why did it feel like another punch when I was listening to them. My hands clenched into fists, harder though. My nails were probably almost breaking skin.

Why I saw him get up, I couldn't help but do the same in response. "No, wait!" I said, almost in a shout as I stood in front of him. "Why didn't you say anything back?" my cheeks felt warm.

"Because I didn't want to start a fight, what's it to you?"

"I-I just never had an argument with someone t-that didn't respond." why was my voice quivering? I sighed and unclenched my fists, turning my head in the other direction because I could feel the warmth in my cheeks intensify. "I-I'm s-s-so-sorry." the word "sorry" was definitely near the bottom of my vocabulary.

Stupid apologies, stupid human words... I growled to myself in my mind as I peeked up to see his reaction, then to Draco, and then back to the dog demon.
Our happiness here is all vain glory,
This false world is but transitory,
The flesh is weak, the Fiend is slee
Timor mortis conturbat me.

I kept blasting at the dragons, making them scatter and lose focus. Perfect. But...I was the only one fighting. Why?

Fine, then. I would do all the work myself, but leave one alive. Leave one alive, and I can find the leader.

A dragon swooped low, diving for me with claws open. I snarled as I made a giant blade with my magic. Keep coming, bastard...keep coming. It did. I roared when it drew only feet from me, reaching out to tear me to shreds. I thrust my magical blade into its chest, letting the weapon literally cut the beast open. It collapsed in an unattractive heap behind me, lifeless.

I was panting now. They had my in a rage. It would take someone knocking me out to stop me now. I began my assault again.

*Lt's get us all together, now.*

Lethero Jr.

Lethero stood outside of the makeshift barraks on the night shift. All was quiet as people lied down to sleep. All the weapons were placed on racks and the leather armor was laid beside the sleepers. A cry rang out through the night.

"What happened?" Lethero asked running towards the screams of pain.

"I don't know," an Elf said. "An arrow came out of nowhere and hit him."

"Dammit. We're under attack. Everyone grab your weapons." Everything was thrown into chaos as everyone scrambled to get their armor and grab weapons as arrows flew into the camp from the night.

Lethero turned as he heard a scream from the town and saw the bar on fire. "Get to town!" he yelled. "Protect the town!" Drawing Moonblade Lethero and slipping into Werewolf form ran towards the town as soldiers ran from the dark treeline with swords drawn. He down any soldier in his way he made his way through the town looking for his father.

Lethero Sr.

Lethero parried a blow from a human soldier and ran Bloodblade through his stomach. He slowly slipped into his Werewolf form as another soldier ran at him and with a quick movement took the soldier down and prepared for the next one.

"Father!" came his son's voice from a few houses over. "They're attacking!'

"Tell me something I don't know!" Lethero yelled as he dispatched another soldier. "We won't be able to fight them. Get everyone you can and tell them to get the hell out of here."

"What about you?"

"I'll be fine."

**So, we're being attacked by dragons and humans... Awesome! Kittykat, I'm going to have to go with everyone else's post so it doesn't get confusing. Can that be something that happened before everyone ran out? Sorry!**

::Travis::

Travis sunk his, now dog form, teeth into a dragon's long neck, feeling its neck snap in his jaws. He threw it aside and looked around at the other dragons that were there. He was at full size and was having a hard time maintaining it, trying to concentrate on it and not what Alesha had asked earlier and the dragon girl from earlier.

The dragons were slowly but surely retreating. One girl was fighting dragon after dragon, about to chase after the ones that were flying off. Travis could tell she was in a rage. He quickly hit her upside the head with his thick black tail, knocking her to the ground, unconscious. He lifted her up and walked back towards the pub, laying her right out front and slowly turning around. The sight wasn't pretty at all. Many dragons littered the area, some completely sliced apart, some beheaded, and others still kicking and roaring in agony. Travis said something quietly and transformed back into his human form, blood trickling down his forehead and he drew his sword and severed a few moaning dragon's heads.

As he sheathed his sliver, glowing sword a familiar scent wafted past his nose, making the black ears that had been laying flat against his head perk up suddenly. Travis cocked his head to the side, surveying the area to his left, then to his right. That's when he saw her. Alesha lay on the ground, bow in hand, unconscious, and bleeding badly. He ran over to her, examining the area where the claws dug into her skin. He let out a hiss of anger and lifted her quickly, walking over to where the other girl was and quickly begininng to tend to their wounds.

::Peyton::

Peyton let out a laugh as the sounds of the shouting men grew further away. She stopped and waited for a minute, wanting to play with the dumb humans more. Once she realized that they weren't coming she whined and padded back to where her brother last was, astonished at the sight in front of the pub. "What happened here? Some dragons get to drunk?" She snickered and her brother just glared up at her. Peyton grinned, looking at the two girls he was trying to bandage.

"Not funny Peyton! Can you heal them?" Travis asked, sounding a little desperate. Peyton glared at him, her face turning hard.

"No," she answered simply, sitting down to watch the show.

"Why not?!" Travis snarled.

"Because... they're not one of us, and if I heal them there is that possibility tha-" Travis snatched Peyton off the ground by her shirt collar and glared at her hard.

"I don't care just heal them!"

"Fine! But if that happens again it'll be your fault!" Peyton slapped her brother's hand away and sat next to the girls, quickly healing the unknown one but moving both hands over to Alesha to heal her. "Her wounds are alot more serious. Are you sure you want me to finish it? The chance is hi-"

"Just do it," Travis growled. Peyton sighed, shrugged and continued to heal her, the blue light getting brighter as a bit of crimson light mixed in with it.

Alesha:

I slowly woke up and saw Travis standing to the side scowling. I saw his sister, Peyton to the extent that I could reason, using her hands and a blue light was shining from them. I winced as pain flooded my senses. I tried not to scream, but it hurt so bad! It eased slightly, but not by much. I gasped and bit my lip hard, causing blood to drip out. I shut my eyes wishing for unconciousness again.

Ryder ran out to see the chaos, sythe in hand and heard a near by person shout.

"The humans are attacking!" Ryder groaned, she thought they'd have more time. Oh well, she wanted revenge for what they did to her house. No one messes with Ryder and just gets away with it. A young male came running up to her with his sword. She swung the sythe right into his side and then when he fell to floor she picked up his sword and stabbed into his chest. Ryder took off on her wings and spotted two other men, about to slaughter a young werewolf pup. She swooped down and took both their heads off in one clean strike.

"Get out of here, kid." She said and took off again.

"Ryder! Ryder!" She heard Lethero Jr. call from down below. She landed in front of him.

"What is it?"

"You need to get out of here, now, we can't fight them all."

"Well we can sure as hell try."

"It's too much of a risk, get out of here, now."

"But Lethe-ahh!" An arrow had pierced through her wing. She growled as she pulled it out. "Whoever shot that is dead!" She kicked off to fly but Lethero grabbed her arm.

"Ryder, please, get out of here. It's not safe."

"Ok, but where do I go?"

"We'll meet up in the opposite side of the forest, now go!" Ryder started to take off when Lethero shouted to her. "Don't fly, they'll spot you easier!" She nodded and ran out of the village, and into the forest. She felt like she was abandoning her home in it's time of need...
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

Moonie-

Moonie ran behind Ryder, her long bow in hand. She had an arrow ready for the first human she saw. "Ryder! You must take a right! I can smell a whole other group of humans comming from the left!", she screamed.

"Lethero said we had to meet him that way!", Ryder yelled as she ran her wing bleeding.

"Please just trust me on this!", Moonie screamed. Ryder ran alittle faster and turned right, "Just keep running!", she called again running left toward the humans. It was a smaller group of maybe 8 but she could definitly take them. They started laughing at her when she aimed her bow at them, it instantley turned bright purple and it shot at the ground infront of the men. It blew up into bright blue smoke and Moonie ran away from it, hearing the humans coughing and screaming. She had to go and find Ryder again.

Dalea-

Dalea walked swiftly through the trees of the forest, she could hear screaming and smell blood comming fromthe small town at the edge of the trees. She went into a full fledged run grabbing her opal sword.

She ran through the streets of small town, she could see the purple smoke only produced by the brownies of her once large village home. She ran faster and faster and was soon knocked off her feet, she rubbed her head and looked infront of her, a small jet-black brownie had run into her. Dalea looked deep into her amber moon eyes, "Moonie?".

Ryder was almost at the edge of the town when her path was blocked by a mob of human soldiers. There was no way she could get around them, and if she tried to fly they would most likely shoot her down. She gritted her teeth in frustration.

"Step aside." She turned to see an old man walk past her, stopping between her and the soldiers.

"What are you doing?" She shouted, "Get out of there, old man!"

"You need to get to the forest, don't you?" the old man asked.

"Well... yeah, but-"

"Then I'll make a path for you." He pulled off his hood and roared at the top of his lungs, it was the kind of roar that only dragons had. In a flash of light he transformed into a black-gray dragon that was large enough to take up the whole street with its body. Its scales were cracked from old age and fur grew on the underside of its neck and belly. The fur on its neck was considerably long, closely resembling a beard. The soldiers began to edge away from the towering dragon.

::Peyton::

Peyton quickly finished up the healing and looked at the other girl who was still unconscious. The sounds of battle and shouting was coming towards them. A light haired, middle aged human ran at the group, only to have Peyton ram a sword through his gut. Others were coming, fast. Peyton transformed into her dog form and grew a bit, making her back wide enough for four. "Everyone get on!" She barked. "Even you Travis. Don't transform. They'll get suspicious." Travis just nodded and helped the dragon and Alesha on. Her grabbed the last girl and climbed on Peyton's back. "Hang on," she instructed and shot towards the woods. A few humans got in her way and she just stepped on them, her only intention being that of getting away safely.

Alesha:

I cringed as I as jolted about. I just wanted my pounding headache to stop! I felt quessy, sick. I heard screams and felt their pain, which made me scream in turn. I kept my eyes shut, not wanting to see the damage. Then I felt soothing hands running through my hair, soft, gentle words being whispered in my sensitive ears. I felt calmer, safer. I concentrated on that wonderful voice. Nothing else. Just that voice, in my ears, telling me it would be okay.

Zel-

I ran out of the house after Ryder, though I did not follow her to where she ran towards Lethero. I turned my eyes towards the sky and frowned at the group of black dragons circling there as a few broke off and continued attacking the town. One came crashing to the ground, blood seeping from numerous wounds.

Before I could figure out why or how the dragon had died, I changed forms and launched into the sky, aiming for the nearest dragon. He saw me coming and roared viciously, flapping it's huge wings to gain altitude. I followed it up before spitting a small stream of flame at it, hitting it's tail and causing it to roar again and flip to face me. I continued to fly at it, mouth open and claws out and ready.

We collided midair with a sound similar to dull thunder, ripping and tearing at each others face.

More dragons had appeared, tearing into the others, and the grey dragon from before was fleeing...with Alesha and another on its back.

I picked out what I thought to be the leader of the dragons, and focus all of my strength into my newest attack. A swirling, crackling orb of black magic grew in the gap between my palms, eventually reaching a diameter of three feet. I launched it...

Another dragon came in behind me, grabbing me in its claws and lifting me off the ground. I swore as I thrashed, but it was not letting go. I finally laid both hands against its paw and unloaded an attack. It roared in pain as its paw was severed and fell toward the forest, in the path of the grey dragon, with me still in it.

And there was no stopping...

Sano ran for the woods. He was no good there. After trying to fight a dragon he barley took down he decided he had over stayed his welcome. As he reached the edge of the wood he heared a scream from above. A dragon had a girl in its claws. He realized it was the elf from before. He saw her shoot of it's foot, but she was still trapped and falling fast with other dragons closing in.

"Son of a..." Sano took off in sprint holding onto the handle of his axe. When he thought he had a clear shot he took it straight from his back and threw it spinning at the closed claw. The large blade cut through the talons and the elf fell more quickly missing the dragon. Sano settled under her a waited to catch her.

He caught her, but he fell to the ground a swore in pain. When he was helped to the ground he sighed, "I thought you elves were supposed to be light and graceful."
I will always fight back, no matter what.
