Travis grinned and laughed lightly, shaking his head and propping his feet up on his sister's empty chair. "My sis and I are just running through. We're looking for a couple of people that owe us an explanation. We're from a small village in the south called, Dalaran. Our parents left us when we were kids and well, to be honest that's who we're looking for. We vowed to never stop looking until we found them, dead or alive. We join small wars here and there. Some over parts of land, others over governmental issues. Nothing huge." Travis grinned sheepishly, still looking at the girl. "Why can't I look away?" He spoke aloud and on accident.

Alesha:

I flushed bright red. and looked into the brown strong selling horrid liquid. I could feel my ears burning. "Travis, right?" I asked shyly. I was too curious not t try the liquid. so I dippd a finger in and brought it to my mouth, licking off the drops of ale. I madde a face and pushed the drink away. I looked back at Travis and smiled. "So, how old are you? And your sister, of course." I rushed, still blushing.

Travis shook his head, unbelieved at what he just said. "Uh... you know I'm sorry about what I just said. I... um... wasn't thinking." He mentally slapped himself and sighed, laying his elbows on the table and his chin in his hands. "Eighteen, turning nineteen in a few months. You?" He saw that she pushed her drink away and ordered her an ice water, unsure of what she wanted. He took a drink of his ale, which was soon finished and waited for her to say something. He was grinning lightly and politely at her, trying to to do two things, one, freak her out, and two, blush himself crazy.

I smiled. "Twenty." I answered. I looked into his eyes, and sighed. a water was brought. "Thank you." I said politely. Then I bit my lip worridly. "Would you like me to leave so you can go find your sister?" I asked. I didn't want to keep him if he didn't want to be here. I chewed on my lip, causing a small droplet of blood to fall. I paled and looked away, waiting for his answer, hoping he would say no.

"No, she can take care of herself. She's a big girl," he laughed lightly and looked up at her. She was pale and biting her lip awfully hard. "Unless... you want me to go. Then I'll stop bothering you and head out." He smiled lightly, still trying to be polite as possible. Where are you? He asked his sister.

Hell... Peyton replied with a mental grin.

Haha, very funny. Don't hurt yourself.

I'm gonna go inspect a few ogres.

You better not.
Peyton just laughed and cut the connection off, irratating Travis.

Alesha:

I looked up in utter shock. "You really want me to stay?" I asked softly. It was hardly audible. I would be surprised if he could hear it. I din't want to leave, but I didn't want to bother him anymore. I looked back down and waited for his answer. I felt sick. I was being so stupid. why was I being like this? Maybe because I was always invisible. No guy took a second look at me. I sighed at the memories and awaited his reply.

Travis laughed lightly and nodded, hearing her clearly thanks to his dog features. "Of course! Why would I pass up a chance to get to know someone amazing?" And beautiful. He added mentally then slapped himself in the mind again. "You're cool A-le-sha." He grinned and noticed how pale she was. "You okay? You're pretty pale, despite your red ears and cheeks," Travis teased with a light laugh and grinned at her, ordering his own water and taking a few sips to get rid of the ale taste.

I blushed more and giggled. Then I had a horrible thought. "Are...are you seeing someone? Or married? Or engaged?" I asked, avoiding eye contact. I foun that I could speak better if I didn't get lost in those glorious eyes. I whipe the blood of I had created earlier with a napkin and took a sip of water, trying to steady myself. I was sz confused. why did I care if he was attached? it wasb't like it was any of my business. I sighed and took another sip of water.

Draco looked down at Reone after the argument with the two dogs. His gaze made her uncomfortable. She shifted in her seat and said, "What?"

"Why did you do that?" he simply asked.

"Do what?"

"Start a fight with two strangers?"

"Because they smelled really bad."

"That's no reason to start a fight. Only a fool would want to anger someone for a reason like that. Besides, I'm very much older than you so my sense of smell is much more acute, how do you think I felt when they walked by?"

Reone thought about that for a moment. "I guess you've got a point. By the way, you still haven't told me what species you are."

Draco ignored the question as he turned back to the bar. "Two ales please." When the bartender gave him his drinks he went over to where the dogs were sitting. One of them had left a few moments ago which left the male dog and an elf. "Pardon me."

The dog demon gave him the stink eye. "Yeah, what do you want?"

"I just wanted to appoligize for my friends behavior back there. She is young and she does not know how to hold her tongue." He set the two ales on the table. "I've already paid for them. Enjoy."

**Great...I've missed so much...unless someone can bring me in, I'll have to drop out. (Newbies, my character's Ra'enya, the stoic and aggressive elf.)**

"Um... No problem. Thanks," Travis looked down at the ale, taking a small sip as the man turned and walked away. He remembered what Alesha had asked and stared at her, grinning. "No, I'm not interested easily. I only get into relationships if that person really interests me," he grinned and raised an eyebrow, never looking away from Alesha, "So... how about you?"

::Peyton::

Peyton grinned as she skidded to a spot, right by a human encampment. She stopped her pelt from glowing and she stalked around the side, getting closer to the ground to listen to the humans talk. An old looking man was talking about a war fifty years ago. "There were these two dogs demons. One was midnight black and the other was a pure snow white. Both had emerald and sapphire eyes that seemed to mold into each color. I was carrying on a fight with an elf a little bit away from where they were playing catch with someone dead. As if war was a game that can be trifled with. Once I had finished off the elf I ran at the large black one, which I guessed was the male, he picked me up by my torso, his long, razor sharp teeth digging into me. I pounded on his snout, even stabbing a dagger into his nose. As if he was obliviuos to the pain he grinned and tossed me in the air. Swinging a large paw around he clipped me right in the back, flinging me into a tree, where I lay in ago-" Peyton moved her paw slightly, cracking it on a stick. The men all looked up at her in suprise.

"A dog demon!" One yelled.

"Get her!" Another shouted. Peyton quickly flipped around and ran back through the forest, the men on her tail

Alesha:

I blushed. "No...no one was ever interested." I answered truthfully. He was...I couldn't describe it. I sighed and looked at the ale. I felt bad for not drinking it since the man had bought it for me, but I just couldn't stand th taste! I sighed and looked back at my elven companion. I didn't want to leave, but I felt bad for deserting my friend. Besides, it wasn't like I was attached to Travis in any way, right? Wrong. My mind answered sharply.

"Nobody ever interested in you?! That's hard to believe." Travis grinned and studied her further. Everything about her was amazing, like capture your heart amazing. Travis shook it off, slapping himself as a blush crept across his cheeks. He turned his head away, trying not to let her see the blush. He noticed her look over at her friend and sighed silently. "Hey... I'm going to let you get back to your friend. You seem like you feel bad for leaving her over there. You and her order anything you want and stick it to my tab. I'll pay it on my way back through. Nice talking to you A-le-sha," he laughed and began to stand up, regreting every second of it.

I looked at him sadly. "Your..." I shook my head miserably. I knew this would happen. He'd walk away and never remember me. He didn't even care. I sighed heavily and nodded. I didn't want him to leave. I looked at him and bit my lip. "Ca-can I travel with you?" I askd, blushing profusely. "My friend will be fine...I just..." he didn't want me to come. "Never mind. Goodbye." I said, not even looking at him as my eyes started to shimmer. I was such an idiot.

"Why did you do that?" Reone asked when Draco came back.

"Is it so wrong to make a gesture of goodwill?" Draco asked.

"You're very strange, old man," she said.

"Perhaps, but I am who I am, and nothing will change that."

"Are you ever going to tell what species you are?" Reone asked.

Draco sighed and looked at her. "I suppose I should since you may not stop pestering me about it. I am a d-" He stopped in mid-sentence at the sound of screams outside. Without hesitation he grabbed his walking stick and ran out. The dog demon from before obviously heard the screams and was already out first. Draco let out a gasp and whispered, "...They followed me."

Black dragons were raining from the skies and tearing up the town.

(Since the plot was barely moving as it was I decided to liven it up a bit. This isn't some random attack on the town, though, these dragons were sent to kill Draco by the leader of the black dragon sept, Baltic.)

'Hush, hush!' I whispered; 'people can have many cousins and of all sorts, Miss Cathy, without being any the worse for it; only they needn't keep their company, if they be disagreeable and bad.
