Velna:

Velna blinked dirt incasing his feet and causing him to fall. She flew over to him and pulled vines up frowning. "Now you listen here, til you get it all out you ain't never gonna feel better." She said crossing her arms.

Laney:

Laney walked over and grabbed Velna behind the neck. "If he doesn't want to talk about it down make him." She said stuffing the fairy in her pocket. She felt a rock hit her head and she let Velna go. She fluttered back out of Laney's pocket and glared at Laney then fluttered back over to the guy.

"Please."

Aren:

I shifted back and growled. I looked down at my mud covered self. "Look, I just..." I sighed and sat down. "I had a sister. It was my job to take care of her since we didn't have parents anymore. Unfortunately, I got...overprotective. I didn't want anything to happen to her. She decided it was too much and left. I haven't seen her since." I sighed and chocked back tears. "Happy now?!" I asked angrily.

Velna:

Velna fluttered over to where he was and frowned. "Guys are so hard headed." She snapped her fingers and let the vines go back where they were before. "It wasn't that horrible, was it?"

Laney:

Laney was mad that Velna let him up. She didn't want him taking off. She still had a lot to yell at him.

I sighed. "I...I don't like my past. I don't like remebering. And I don't like people knowing." I glared at the little flying creature. I looked up. It was getting dark. I wanted to leave, but the girl reminded me so much of my sister. I couldn't leave...I growled and stood up. I need to wash off all the stupid mud. I looked at the female. "My name's Aren. Where are you headed?" I asked.

Velna:

Velna looked at Aren, he was caked in mud. She looked at the stream that was right next to them.

"Do you want the mud gone?" She asked.

Laney:

Laney rolled her eyes and frowned grabbing Velna up again. "Ignore my little winged friend here, she doesn't know what is rude and what isn't. I'm Laney, and this is Velna. We're headed to find Lethero. Don't know where he is, but oh well."

I grinned. "Well, Velna, I'd love to get rid of this mud." I said amniably. I could be nice if I wanted to. "It's nice to meet you, Laney." I chuckled as I thought, "child." I looked at the inviting stream. If I was alone, i'd strip and jump in, washing away all the mud. But I wasn't alone. I sighed and smiled at Laney. She was so...entrancing. Her eyes...her hair..every bit of her pulled me in. I shook my head again, trying to clear the image. I sighed and looked down at my now ruined clothes. I'd have to bye some new ones in the next town.

Laney:

"Sure, sure. Now you learn to be nice." Laney growled walking to the stream and splashing water on her face.

Velna:

"Ok." She closed her eyes and mustered all her energy pulling the dirt off of him and his clothes. When she was finished, she fluttered to the ground passing out.

Laney:

Laney stood up and looked at Velna's lump form. "What did you do to her?!" She demanded.

I growled. "I didn't do anything! I answered her question!" I glared. "Why is this automatically my fault?" I roared. I clinched my fists and tried to control my anger. If I got angry, I would shift. I didn't want to shift! I took a deep breath. "It's not my fault." I said softly, my blue eyes begging her to believe me.

Laney:

Laney picked up Velna then noticed he didn't have mud on him anymore. "In a way it is, sense she used so much magic or whatever it is on you she got tired and passed out. Sorry for jumping at you, Velna's all I got." She started walking through the woods gently tucking Velna in her pocket. "Come if you like, just leave the additude."

I sighed and followed. It wasn't like I knew where I was going. "She must mean a lot to you." I said softly, looking deep into her eyes, then turning away. "She seems nice...incredibly so. How did you two meet?" I asked, genuinely interested. I smiled softly, trying not to smirk like I normally did.

Ra'enya

We made it to the trail without problems, but I could see Alesha was still frightened. I put a hand on her shoulder and stared at her pointedly.

"You have nothing to be afraid of, Alesha," I told her, using my free hand to summon a sample of magic for her to see. "I won't let anything happen, and it's hard to beat me. Okay?"

I gave her a small smile before turning my attention back to the town.

Alesha:

I nodded and watched carefully. I was still fascinated by the dragons. I had never seen one before. The younger one who had arrived later was so striking. I was amazed. I wanted to touch his scales. How much more fascinating could you get than a dragon. I sighed. I had never had a boyfriend before. I had never had someone who was so fascinated in me. I wanted a person to be. I sighed and looked at him lovingly, blissfully unaware of anything else.

*yes, I know it's sort of late in the story, but Boon gave the okay! :D*

Name: Reone Transentios

Race: dragon

Heir of: was the heir of the Transentios, a unique family of dragons that has the power of transparency when in dragon form and standing still or in sunlight

Age: 19

Personality: fiery temper and very mischievous, Reone is stubborn and reckless, she's determined to get the throne no matter what, but of course like most people there's always a soft spot; she loves being melodramatic and is an adrenalin junkie

History: After trying to take the throne before her time for the second time, and failing yet again, she was exiled out of her country and taken off of the line of heirs. Now, unable to return to her castle, she roams wherever she please. In search of helpers to take back her place in the kingdom and take the throne. But it's always hard for her since she has little trust in anyone other than herself.

______________

The mountains below looked so much like a spikey spine, crawling along the earth. Dots of blue and dark green sprayed across them. I still wasn't out of the kingdom, the guards would still be behind me, watching, making sure that I got a good way past the boundry line. Finally, when a mossy green line stretching from the ocean to the right and the valleys to the left, signaled that I was out. The Trees of Crossing, they were usually called.

Your out Reone, now please fly another three miles away. the voice sounded deep and angered, but there was still a hint of sadness in it.

Good. I wanted them to feel bad for kicking me out like that. Embarrasing me in front of everyone and telling me to never come back. The trip was quick, it didn't even seem like I traveled that many miles. A town was up ahead, it seemed quiet and calm. Fore some reason I was really hoping for a little action... I guess this would have to do for now.

The wind changed directions and so did I, charging downwards and headed straight to the middle of the town. As I made my deceant, the scales started changing colors and began to get a solid look to them. I was glad I didn't have to been seen in the air, it made it easier to fly in open spaces. A feet from landing my body changed again, back to human.

I didn't bother to check if my hair was okay from the flight, or see if anyone saw me. I didn't really care at this point, I just wanted to sleep. It felt strange getting back onto my feet and I think I wabbled a little as I paced towards a fountain in the middle. It had been awhile since I saw my human self. Just as I had found my way there and looked down, different smells started coming to me. From the smell of it, this didn't look like a regual village.

Laney:

Laney looked back at him and shrugged. "When my mom died I went looking for my mom's old pack. I was going through some woods when I found a bunch of human kids throwing something back and forth. It was glittering. So I caught it before one of the others did. When I saw what it was, I just bout killed someone. She's been following me ever sense., sometimes I even make her follow." She smiled softly. "She's all I got."

I smiled back. Laney was enchanting. I couldn't help it! I made a pact to myself that I would protect with every fiber in my being. I wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

"Well, she's lucky to have you." I looked at her intensely, my blue eyes gazing into hers. I looked away and blushed. "Um...so, we're going to find your mother's old pack?" I asked, clarifying.
