Ryder smiled at Ray even though he either did not notice or ignored this. She had never even heard of a Mazoku Demon before...but the word "Demon" didn't exactly sound flattering.

"Sooo...Lethero, you know, my place is pretty empty, besides me of course. Ray could stay there." Ryder smiled wide and held back a giggle. Lethero raised an eyebrow at her and scoffed.

"I know exactly what will happen if I leave a young man at your place over night, he'll stay with me. Moonie and Laqu can stay with you unless they have other plans."

"But...come on! That's not fair!" Ryder stomped her foot and ruffled her wings in frustration, scattering a few feathers into the air. Lethero plucked a feather off of Ryder's shoulder.

"Yes, well life isn't fair, little bird." He smirked.

"Don't call me that!" She growled and then blushed, remembering Ray. She thought she must be acting pretty childish and dropped the subject.
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."

Moonie kept glarring at Ray, his scent reminded her of something but she didn't know what. Her ears twitched as Lethero said she might be staying in the city, "I would rather sleep outside in the forest, thanks anyway".

She kept keeping her amber gaze at Ray, and kept a grip on her long bow. They had yet to see what Moonie was capable of, Moonie's ears twitched and she sniffed the air. She thought she had heard and scented something out in the distance but she didn't bring this to the others attention.

*Sorry guys my internet crashed*

Azrayel-

They weren't human. They were like him, and yet not. It was strange not having to hide what he was. Then again, it could just be he'd been avoiding people to long. The rag tag group wound the bend and the town came into view. It wasn't big, just a small town nestled in the valley, there were deep forests and meadows on all sides and a river ran beside the town.

He glanced at Ryder and Lethero, "So you two have lived here all your lives?"

*agh! Writer's block.*

(My parents may be deciding on not going camping this weekend so I'll leave an open post for you guys.)

Before the two of them could answer they heard a thundering roar in the sky. The wind suddenly picked up as a giant dragon flew over their heads only a few yards above the treetops. Leafs were thrown off the trees and dust came off of the ground as the giant creature passed overhead. As suddenly as the creature had appeared it was gone.

"What was that!?" Ryder exclaimed.

"I think it was a dragon," Lethero explained, "and I think it was heading for the town."

Ra'enya smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready."

They were gathering their things when they heard a thunderous roar that echoed through the forest. Before they knew what was happening a giant creature soared over the forest. The wind generated from its wings threw their hair into their faces. The creature was gone before they could get a good look at it.

Alesha's voice was breathy when she asked, "Was that a dragon just now?"

Ra'enya nodded slowly. "I think so." A pang of fear struck her gut when she realized what direction it was heading. "Oh no, it's heading for the town nearby!"

(Just so you know, my character isn't going to be killing any of the townspeople. In fact, by the time your characters get to the town he'll have already turned into his human form.)

Ra'enya

I led the way as we followed the dragon, hopeful that we may be able to stop whatever chaos might start. I had drawn both of my weapons, ready to use them if necessary.

We stopped outside of the town, concealing ourselves in the treeline. The dragon was nowhere to be seen...

"Where is it?" Alesha whispered.

"I don't know," was my only answer, then I entered the village. But I will find you.

Laney:

"Me leave. HA! I'm not going anywhere when someone is around that could shatter the peace that has been worked so hard to get. IN fact I'm of mind to take you to Lethero, if I can find him." SHe growled. Velna flew up to her shoulder and whispered in her ear.

"I can still find him if you will stop being stubborn." Velna said clinging to Laney's neck so she didn't have to flutter her wings.

I growled. Why was she being so difficult?! The children had left so I moved out behind the trees. "I don't take orders from anyone, especially little girls. How old are you? Fifteen? Sixteen?" I smirked, hoping it would make her mad. I wasn't the kind of person who liked traveling companions. I didn't want anyone getting too close to me. I continued smirking at the "little girl" but couldn't help thinking how beautiful she was. I shook my head to clear the thoughts. They were stupid and irrational. I couldn't be attracked to this...child. I growled and turned around and started walking away. She shouldn't even be near me. I shifted and raced off, hoping she wouldn't follow.

Alesha:

I looked at my friend nervously. "Maybe we should just make sure the village is safe, then leave. we don't want to make a..." I trailed off, entranced by the gorgeous creature standing in front of me. A male, dusting himself off. I drew in a quick breath. I was being stupid, irrational...but he was just so entrancing! Then several others appeared and started talking to him...or it. "Maybe we should leave..." I said quietly.

Zel-

I wandered aimlessly through the forest, not wanting to admit to myself that I was lost. But it was becoming clearer and clearer that I was. Alje had sent me to find Lethero or any of his descendants. She hadn't told me where he would be. She hadn't even told me which direction to look first.

Looking up, I sighed and changed forms quickly before launching into the sky. I kept my eyes on the forest floor below in case there happened to be anyone who could tell me where I was. Off in the distance, another dragon dove down into the forest and was gone. My mother had told me it was best to keep a distance from other dragons unless they approached you first, lest they be territorial or aggressive.

After only a few minutes of flying at a comfortable speed, I spotted a small group of people in the forest ahead. Deciding it would be better to appear in a less threatening form than a dragon, I landed quietly and changed back before running to catch up.

"Excuse me," I said, coming up behind them. "But could any of you tell me where we are?"

They turned around, a little black brownie approaching first. She sniffed me cautiously before turning back to look at the others. I dug around in one of my pockets, brought out a toadstool, and offered it to her. She glanced at it before snatching it out of my hands.

I laughed lightly. "You're welcome."

"You are outside the town of Zeinta," Lethero said surprised by the strangers presence. "It is a town of Magical Creatures."

"Would there be anyone by the name of Lethero in this town?" the stranger asked.

"I would be Lethero," he replied.

The stranger looked surprised and surveyed Lethero closer. "I thought you would be older. It's been fifty years since you brought peace to us."

Realization spread across Lethero's face. "Oh, you mean my father then. I am his son. Why is it you wish to see my father?"

Laney:

"Don't be stupid." Velna cried as Laney shifted and tore off after the guy.

Velna:

Velna growled as she flew after Laney. She couldn't believe Laney was being stupid again. Laney caught up to him and then rammed into his side knocking him over and growling.

"I'm not a child, I've been fighting my whole life with those wanting to destroy what my mother fought to keep." Velna frowned as the fur on the back of Laney's neck went up and she waited for the guy to get up.

I chuckled merthlessly and shifted back to my human form, turning. "You don't know what this stupid war has cost me then. Or what happened in my past. In fact, child, you have no right to accuse me of ruining the peace when there never was any in the first place!" I glared. Why did she have to be so infuriating! Then it struck me...she reminded me of...I shuddered and closed my eyes, holding back tears threatening to fall. why did I always have to be so stubborn?! why did I run off my sister? I sat down under a tree. "Please leave." I said almost pathetically.

(Turns out after paying for the parts to fix the van's brakes my parents don't have enough money for gas so I won't be going camping this weekend and I'll be able to post. I will, however, wait for most of the characters to arrive in the town before revealing my character to them.)

Ra'enya

I hushed Alesha as more of the people congregated in front of us. There had to be a way around them, to get into the city. I looked down the treeline...a game trail walked right into the town down there.

Come on, I gestured to her, leading her down the path, away from possible danger. Stay quiet, and stay close. But act casual once we reach the trail.

Laney:

Laney growled and shifted form. "I am NOT a child, I'm seventeen. And secondly, there is enough peace to keep us alive."

"LANEY!" Velna growled landing on the ground breathing hard.

Velna:

When Velna caught her breath she fluttered over to the werewolf. "You ok? Cause to let you know, Laney ain't bout to leave, she's to hard headed."

Aren:

I looked at the flying creature, touched by it's kindness. I sighed deeply. "My parents were killed in th war. I was left with a little sister...she would be seventeen now. She..." I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the tree. "She..." I growled. "Never mind, okay?! Can you just leave me alone?!" I growled and jumped up, running again...running from my past..from the memories.

Alesha:

I bit my lip and followed her cautiously. I was scared. What if something happened?! I looked worridly at my friend. I followed blindly, hoping that this would work!
