*er... I think everyone is still in that bar, right?*

[Reone Transentios]

A black-haired girl with sort of pale skin stared back at me. Her face looked seriously annoyed, yet, it also had a sad sort of look to it. Hardly any of her hair was still in its ponytail, strands hanging down by her cheeks. I watched her eyes for at least five minutes before I finally figured out that it was... me. Did I really look like that? When had I gotten black hair? It all seemed so distant-- my human self.

"How long has it been?" I wondered out loud, my fingers shaking towards the water.

This couldn't be real, could it? I didn't think that I was still able to transform back into a human. Ripples blurred the image and I had to step back. Fingers. The word sounded unfamiliar, even when I thought it. I clenched and unclenched them, standing there stupidly in pure awe that I could pick things up. I had to try it.

I shoved it into the water and grabbed a handful of pebbles. Interesting... I dropped them and tried to pick up the water, but it kept falling through my fingers.

"Why can't I grab you!" my voice sounded different, so much more softer than the roar I use to use instead.

Out of the corner of my eyes I could see people watching me, confusing painted on their faces. Suddenly, my face felt hot. I looked back into the fountain and saw that it was... red? What happened to the paleness? I had to get out of the open, I felt so unprotected now.

My first instinct was to fly, but I couldn't do that. I had just gotten back to this body, I didn't want to change just yet. What did humans do to go fast? Oh yeah! They ran! It looked simple enough when they did it, so, why not me? At first my feet just grazed the ground, barely getting into a walk. Then, I got faster and faster, until finally... I was running.

It wasn't as great as flying, but it would get me around. The buildings didn't look like a blur and I was so sure that they would. Maybe I wasn't going fast enough? Right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot...

THUD!

Something hard hit my forehead and I was sent flying down. Which made another thud!. A wave of laughter washed through the building and my face felt hot again. What was this feeling? I looked up and found that other humans in front of me, holding bottles and glasses filled with vile smelling brownish liquid. I set my head back down and took in deep breaths. It had been awhile since I felt pain like this... Someone grabbed my arms and started lifting me back onto my feet. My mouth stumbled for the word that humans used to show gratitude.

"Thanks?" I guessed, my voice sounded more of a whisper compared to the slowly dwindling laughter. Suddenly, I forgot how to stand up straight and my knees buckled underneath, but I was caught. "Thanks..." I mumbled out again.

(Actually, this is perfect for me to bring in my own character.)

"You're welcome, young one." Reone looked up to see the man who had helped her to her feet. He was old, that much was certain, with gray eyes and a white beard. He wore a black hooded cloak and had a walking stick in his other hand. As she looked into those gray eyes she couldn't help but feel an odd sense of familiarity with him.

The old man motioned toward the door to the bar. "Let's find you a place to sit."

Name: Peyton Threshel

Race: Dog demon (Not wolf, dog)

Heir of: No one

Age: 18

Personality: Peyton is bubbly and fun loving. She acts like a five year old and loves to anger her older brother, Travis, who always gets angry. Even though she acts young, in battle she is completely different, as a matter of fact it's like she's a different person. In battle she's feirce and easily angered. She hates it when people do something wrong and worries to much about her sides well-being.

History: When Peyton was younger her parents left her and her brother. They left Peyton and Travis standing in the middle of a town, saying that they'd be right back. They never came back. Until the siblings were both officially teenagers they were stealing off people. Once they turned thirteen they began working as assasins, offering a high price each time. When they both turned sixteen they stopped and began to travel around to see everything they could in their life and hopefully find their parents, so they could get pay back.

Lethero Jr.

Lethero walked around town seeking requests to join the militia to fight the evil. Most Magical Creatures believed him and accepted to join, but none of the humans could accept that the War would happen again.

After he gathered everyone willing to fight he outfiited them with armor and weapons. "Magical Creatures," Lethero said to the gathering before him. "There is a war coming, one that my father thought was finished long ago. I know for some of you it's hard to believe the humans would betray us. Some of you have human friends, but while they may be at peace with us there are humans out there willing to kill us, to destroy us and we cannot let that stand. I promise to bring you all home, victors of this war, or I will die trying.

"Tomorrow, we march."

[Reone Transentios]

This man, he smelled funny. It wasn't that hilarious sort of funny, or that strange kind, but the one that made you think back. Had I met him before? His grey eyes kept me out, kept me thinking. He looks familiar...

"Two ales!" the old man called out, nodding at the bar tender.

I shifted myself around in my seat until I was sitting like him. This was seriously uncomfortable. It felt better to sit on the clouds or the ground at least. Note to self: wood = hard.

"So, you've, uh..." I shifted to a different position. "No wait, I mean, I'm Reone Transentios of the Transentioses. Er, well, I was until I got kicked out..." my new fingers clenched into fists and I had to keep myself from slamming them against the table.

The old man laughed loudly and stuck his hand out, "I'm Draco,"

This man was strange, what was the hand for? I stared at it until he finally took it back and grabbed the glass in front him instead. I looked at the drink in front of me and my nose wrinkled in response.

"What is this?"

"Ale, try it," he took another sip.

I pushed the glass towards him. "I'd really rather not,"

The door creaked open and two more people came, they smelled funny, too. A boy and girl both in black. This smell wasn't like the old man, this was different. Something I had never smelled before. It was intense as they got closer, my nose wrinkled even more and I had to cover it.

"What reeks!" I said almost in a shout.

Whoops... The two of them stopped at our table in an abrupt halt that almost made me jump.

"Were you talking about us?" asked the man, his eyes narrowing.

I stood up, wobbled, and then grabbed onto the table for support with one hand as I poked the man in the chest with the other. "Yes, I was." my eyes narrowed to copy his. "I'm sorry, but you smell sort of like... like, what's the word? Oh, dog."

The two of them growled, and then the girl spoke. "Yeah well, I'm sorry to say that you smell like... like, what's the word? Oh, dragon." her voice was high pitched as she mocked mine.

I growled, almost a roar, and then sat back down, turning my head the other way. "Mutts," I muttered under my breath, my nose wrinkling in disgust.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see both of them glare down at me. And almost simultaneously, they both shouted, "What'd you say!"

Alesha:

I cringed. I didn't want to go to war, but I knew I had to. I looked over and saw a new creature I had never seen. There were two of them. They seemed related. I blush when the male's gorgeous eyes met mine. I drained of color and looked away.

Aren:

I frowned. we were going to war? This didn't sound good. I looked over at Laney. she didn't seem to like the idea very much either. I wanted to tell her how I felt, but I knew that was a bad idea. she probably didn't even care. I didn't want to die without her knowing how I felt about her. I sighed and clinched my fists. "child" my mind chimmed, but I knew I couldn't see her that way. I sighed and refused to look at her.

Peyton && Travis::

"What'd you say!" Travis and Peyton yelled angrily. Travis was now growling and Peyton was more on the verge of attacking. Nobody called her a mutt. Not even a dragon. Not matter how strong it was. Peyton snarled and reached for a dagger just as the dragon spoke again.

"I called to two smelly dogs, mutts! Are you deaf to?!" The dragon, who looked slightly amused and irritated, grinned. Peyton finally blew it. She lunged at the dragon but Travis stopped her quickly, grabbing her around the waist and yanking her backwards. Without a word he snatched her dagger away and walked to another part of the pub, sitting Peyton down in a chair and trying to calm her.

"Imma kill that dragon Travis! I swear it! No one calls me a mutt and gets away with it! I'm one hundred percent pure dog demon. Not a mutt!" Peyton spat, finally calming down.

"Well ya can't kill it today. She's got another one with her. Really strong to. If there was to be a fight you know that he'd help her." Travis growled, calming down himself as Peyton nodded solemly. They both ordered a drink, still shooting daggers at the dragons.

Travis::

Travis grabbed the girls wrist before she could run. "C'mon now. It was so fun listening to you studder. I'm sure you can carry on an actual conversations with me and my sister before running off. Please?" Her grinned at the girl and sat her back down. It was as if all anger had melted away the second she came over.

Peyton::

Peyton just waved at the girl and grinned, quickly thinking of something to say. "So... I'm Peyton. The idiot right here is Travis," Peyton laughed lightly and playfully punched her brother's shoulder, he looked as if he was blushing, which cause Peyton to giggle. "So, what's your name?"

Alesha:

I blushed. "Alesha." I said timidly. My stomach felt light. I was so nervous and giddy at the same time. He gave me strange feelings. I could still feel where he had touched me. I giggled slightly, then blushed. "What are you?" I asked, then paled. "I...I..." I bit my lip afraid I had offended them. I wasn't looking for a fight, just curious.

Lethero Sr.

Lethero walked into the bar. He heard fighting going on and he thought he would check it out. He walked up to the bartender and asked, "Whose been fighting, Tom?" He pointed out two dragons and two wolves.

"They're strangers, just came in," Tom said. "We've been getting a lot of strangers lately. A lot of Magical Creatures. I don't got a problem with it, but the other humans do."

"There's going to be a war, Tom." Lethero said. "Just like the one all those years ago. Well, I might as well see what this is about." Lethero stood up and walked to the two Werewolves.

"What do you want, old man?" said the male.

"I hear there's been a confrontation between you and some dragons. What was it about?"

"Why do you care?"

"Because I do not want to see us Magical Creatures fighting amongst ourselves with a war about to start."

"A war? But this is a time of peace."

"I'm afraid not. So what was this confrontation about?"

"They called us mutts and dogs," the female said.

Lethero raised his eyebrow. "That's it? Well, do not let it anger you. They are just words."

"We know, but we have pride," the male said. "So, can we have your name, old name?"

"It's Lethero." Lethero stood up and walked out of the bar without speaking to the dragons. He knew how it was to be those young wolves. Feeling the need to fight for your pride, but those days were behind him. It reminded him how Telayna always insulted him. Lethero decided he would take a walk through the town and see if defenses were being prepared.

::Peyton::

Peyton giggled, downing another ale as she watched the man walk out. She turned back to the girl's question and smiled. "We're dog de-" Travis pinched her under the table, making her yowl in surprise. She rubbed her leg where he had pinched her and glared at him, scooting her chair a little bit away from him. "People call us werewolves, because they're out family and all but we're really dog demons. Messengers of the underwolf... I mean world," she finished, glaring at her brother, who was looking at the girl. Peyton snickered and devised a plan in her minds, thinking through it all. "So... what are you?"

::Travis::

Travis glared at Peyton and ordered three ale, sliding one to Alesha, one to Peyton, and keeping one himself. He could tell by how Peyton's eyes twinkled that she was scheming up something evil. He looked back at the girl, captivated by everything about her. Her hair, her eyes, even her scent. He shook his head, knocking every thought out of his mind and growling at himself.

Alesha:

I flushed bright red, all the way up to my slightly pointed ears. "I'm an elf." I said. I looked at the brown liquid in front of my and wrinkled my nose. I thought about holding my nose, but I felt like that might be rude. "What is that?" I asked, trying not to be rude. They looked at me oddly and I blushed. "I don't normally come into places like this." I explanined, lowering my eyes. I was just so timid. I was afraid to look up. Today, my hair was loose, and therefore a tangled mess. I absentmindly played with a strand, twirling it around my finger. My violet eyes stayed lowered. my dad had always told me I had my mothers eyes. I looked up and gazed into his eyes. they were entrancing. I couldn't look away. I was captivated. I blushed when I realized I was staring and looked away.

::Peyton::

"Ale," Peyton answered truthfully, grinning at the blushing girl, and also feeling like a third wheel. "I feel like a stroll. I'll see you later Travis," and with that Peyton walked out of the pub and away from it. Once she got out of town she transformed, racing through the forest at a blinding speed.

*Anyone can literally run into her...**

::Travis::

Travis gaped at his sister as she walked off. So this was her plan all along! He shifted nervously, taking another sip of ale. "It's not as bad as it first smells," he grinned lightly, still unable to look away from Alesha's face completely. "So, where do you come from and why're you here, A-le-sha?" He sounded out each syllable with a slight grin, trying to lighten up the nervous mood.

Alesha:

I blushed again. I couldn't help it! I just got so nervous. Especially around guys.

I looked down at the mug and placed my hands around it. "I have been a lot of places and I met someone in the woods the other day and she brought me here. she's over there. the other elf." I said. Then I looked at him quizzically. "What about you?" I asked, smiling brightly. "What's your story?" I tucked some stay hairs behind my ear and smiled at him, giggling again.
