"My dad's a drug dealer. The biggest one in the North as a matter a fact." Tanner blushed and glared at Lucinda, wishing she would at least offer some help. She smiled sheepishly at Colt and looked away quickly. He probably thinks I'm a idiotic drug addict by now...She wrote and sighed.
"I've tried guitar," Vincent said. "I'm pretty useless at it."
He guided Arabella's hands toward Middle C, then the E and G above it.
"Now, the trick to piano is to learn the chords," he said. "If you know your chords, then you can play almost anything. This one we've got going here is C, which is one of the most basic because we've no sharps or flats--those are the black notes.
"One of my favorite songs starts with a C chord. Here."
Vincent pressed Arabella's hands down lightly so that they played the C chord twice, then shifted them down to G, also played twice, then A minor, then F.
"That's the first part of the Beatles's song Let It Be," he said; they played the four chords again, and this time Vincent sang along. " 'When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me...' Then we hop back up to C, and go down again: 'Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.'
"That last part is a bit tougher, because the chords change faster."
"Buy, buy, buy, buy; sell, sell, sell
How well you've learned to not discern;
Who's foe and who is friend,
We'll own them all in the end."
I stared at the keys he'd helped me to play. Chords, huh? I'd only thought of the combination of notes, not their names.
And he was amazing. He could sing, too? It was great!
I shifted, moving my hands to another place on the board. "Did music show you that?" I didn't wait. "That would explain my ignorance; I've always learned by ear, not sight..."
If only I could learn how to do that...it would take time, though...
I looked up at Vincent, sighing.
"Guitar is much more fun, though."

"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery." Timothy 4:14 KJV
I kept my mouth shut and looked down at the note. I shook my head and wrote:
No he doesn't. You don't even look like your on anything.
I shoved it to her with a smile. "So, let's talk about something else. How about the school's basketball game last night."
"You hate sports." Ally said. I kicked him under the table. When he said ow I smiled with satisfaction.
Some say laughing is the best medicine but what do you do when you can't laugh anymore?
Multiple personalities are just good social skills.
I would like to join, but I may not be active for a while, exams and that.

**JC Bella you guys wright uber-fast, sorry for not keeping up. and hey SingeroftheNight, what class is it supposed to be that your character is in first hour? i decided to stick myself there, if you dont have anything in particular planned, make it an English class, kay?**
Mark:
In first hour, there was a new girl, he gathered that she had arrived during his last trip on a 5-day vacation.
"you the new girl?" he says,
"yeah, but who are you? you haven't been here the last couple of days"
"Im Mark, and i ent been in school cause they kicked me out"
"Hey," the girl on the other side of her says "you don't want to talk to him, he's a good-for-nothing, his fathers a drunk."
"hey bitch, how 'bout you shove it?" Mark says
"Mark!" shouts the teacher, "watch your language!"
"Hey" says mark, "she deserved it."
"Mark, you just got back, are you trying to get yourself kicked out again so quickly?" says the teacher in a voice that brooks no attitude. At this point the rest of the class is looking at him like he is being a pest, making him wish he could turn invisible or something.
"No" Mark says.
Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive
Interruption -- Please Read!!! If you don't you may become extremely lost.
Okay, the timing was off earlier for this storybook, and I'm not sure where everyone is. Some people seem to be in first hour, while others are still at the before school stage.
So, I have decided to start here. The date and time of my next post will determine the rest of the posts. Please try to stay within the time period. If the person before you has the bell ring to end first period, don't go back and have your character doing something at the beginning of that period.
Also, it may be helpful, (although this is not mandatory), to put your characters *hesitant* schedule in the discussion thread. It is of course subject to change, but that would give a rough idea of who's where when.
Also, Ayumi, Phindin's character was helping my character.
Arabella -- Friday, August 8th -- Before School
I was running early this morning. Early enough to see Megan, one of the many popular girls I didn't know, running through the hallway. She was shoving envelopes into the top grates of certain lockers.
As I walked down to my locker, and pulled it open, an envelope fell out of my locker. I picked it up, carefully opening it and the card inside.
Elijah -- Friday, August 8th -- Before School
Party. Megan's house. 8 pm to Midnight.
It was a simple enough invitation, especially considering that everyone knew who Megan was.
I grinned, knowing how Megan played. She would have everything imaginable at this party.
I noticed a girl I vaguely knew, Audra, reading an invitation also.
"Hey," I said, grinning at her. "Are you going to this party?"
