Lucinda~friday,August 8~right before school starts

It was a new day and I was running late. I hopped around my room trying to get my jeans on.
"Dangit, come on!" Once I finally got dressed i ran into the bathroom to put on my make-up and do my hair.
I thought about Tanner, today was the day she had to help her dad, I sighed. I was going with her wheathter she liked it or not.
I looked down at my shoes and noticed it was two different ones. "Shit!" I ran to my room and got the matching one.
I got into my vintage bug and drove to school. I made it to my locker and opened it. An evolope fell out. It was an invite to a party for tonight. I smiled, Tanner and I weren't going to help her dad.

Sybyla~Friday~August 8th~Right before school starts

I murmered and shouted obsenities as my bike crashed into a pole.

"Ouch. Fuck!"

I pulled myself to my feet and started peddling again, I was glad for the bottle of tylenol I kept in my locker.

Marissa: 1st hour

Marissa ignored the girl and continued to talk to the guy.

"It's ok, I know how you feel." She told the guy.

"Really?" he asked sarcastically.

"Yeah, My moms a dope head and my dad....well its har to explain him..." She said before turning her head and laying her head down, memories flooding back. A silent tear rolled down her face. The guy looked surprised.

"You ok?" He asked hesitantly.

"Huh? Oh yeah. Sorry." She murmered.

Marissa raised her hand.

"Yes?" The teacher asked.

"Sorry to interrupt your presentation, but may I go to the bathroom?"

"Umm..sure."

Marissa got up and walked out.

Mark: (Friday, First hour)

"hey teach!"


"What is it now Mark?"

"Can I use the bathroom?"

"Wait untill Marissa gets back."

"but its 'mergency" Says Mark "i really gotta go"

"Fine" he nods Mark out the door.

As soon as he is in the hallway, he looks around, and sees Marissa walking in the other direction, He jogs to catch up with her, and whispers from behind

"Hey!"

"What?" she replies, turning around, "Oh, its you"

"hey its ok, about your family. i mean... " he starts, and then stops...

"I really dont know why im telling you this," he continues after a moment "my ma, she sleeps around...well, she a whore, so ive never been entirely sure that my dad's acually my real father."

"and even if he is, im not sure i want him to be." he says, his voice betraying anger "he's an ignorant asshole, who doesnt desrve the air he breathes, drinking up all his wlefare money, and then some of Ma's money as well,"

marissa: hallway 1st hour


Marissa hesitated before saying, "Yeah, well at least your life aint as screwed up as mine."

"What do you mean?" He asked, stopping her.

"Um....well...I live withy my grandma because...of my dad."

"Why?"

"He.....he raped me." She said before running to the bathroom. Mark just stood there, shocked.

Lucinda~Friday, August 8~Firsts hour

I moaned my disgust in math. I looked over to see a Elijah, he looked as bored as I did.
I smiled when I saw one of the invites in one of his books.
"Rosalie?" The teacher called.
"Uh... Yes?"
"The answer?" She looked annoyed.
"Oh right, the answer, 5?" I said and she rolled her eyes.
"No actually you were about 220 numbers off."
"Oops?" I said, shrugging my shoulders. She rolled her eyes and gave a huff, turning back to the board. I looked over to Elijah. He was slightly smiling while he wrote down the answer.

**Vampy, I thought your character in this was Lucinda? Rosalie is in the coffee one**

Elijah -- First Period -- Math

I ripped a sheet of paper out of my notebook and scrawled down a few sentences before passing it to Lucinda.

Are you going to that party?

Lucinda grinned and wrote back.

Yeah, you?

Who'd seriously miss a party thrown by Megan?

Good point Lucinda passed this note to me just as the bell rang.

Arabella -- Hallway between First and Second Period

People flooded into the hallway where I had been sitting. There was a substitute for choir, so I asked to be excused about five minutes into class, and had been sitting at my locker doodling on a random piece of paper and listening to Anberlin, which were my new favorite band.

Someone stopped in front of me, and I looked up.

**Haha. It is Lucinda. I mixed it up.**

Lucinda~friday August 8~ betweent first and second hour

I picked my books up and walked out of the classroom, smiling. I met up with Tanner in the hallway.
"You get one?" I asked her.
"Yeah, but I ca-"
"Oh come on! It's one of Megan's parties, you have to come. I'll help you out, don't worry." I smiled, thinking of my devious intentions. I looked over my shoulder to see Elijah exiting the classroom.
I smiled and waved, calling over my shoulder to him. "See you tonight!" He nodded and started the other way.

Friday, August 8th
Between first and second hour~

"I don't know Luc. You know I'm not the party type...besides my dad is angry at me for low sales last weekend. He might let me go," Tanner answered with a small, sad smile. She grabbed her books out of her locker and began to walk towards biology class.

Lucinda~ friday august 8~ second hour.

I sat beside Tanner at our lab table. I wrote her a note while the teacher turned on a movie.
You are too the party type. You go to parties with me all the time! I'm sure you'll dad will let you go. He likes to see you acting like a teenager...
I put it on top of her books and looked at the screen, not really paying attenetion.

Friday, August 8th
Second hour~

Ugh! Fine I'll go! She wrote back, turning to the screen. It was a short movie on the disecting of a cow eye. Tanner sighed and began to doodle lightly in her black and neon binder. Once the movie was over she relooked the doodle and realized she'd drawn Colt with little hearts around him. "God, I'm so hopeless," she groaned, hitting her head on the table.

Lucinda~friday August 8~second hour

I looked over at what she'd drawn and giggled.
"I have to agree, hopeless." She looked up at me in mock terror. "Kidding." I said, laughing some more.
"Maybe he'll be there." I said under my breath, looking over at her.

Friday, August 8th
Second hour~

"I'm not going," she glared, gathering her things and standing up. She stopped outside the classroom and sighed, realizing what subject she had next. "I'm skipped Phys Ed." She growled to Luc as she walked out.

Lucinda~friday August 8~ skipping second hour

She was lucky she slid by the teacher! I ran after her with my stuff in hand.
"Oh yes you are!" I said when I caught up to her. "I'll skip with you but you are coming to the party. You don't have to speak to him but you are coming."
"You've said that 3 times." She laughed.
"That's how important it is." I smiled at her. "I'm picking you up at 7:30 whether you like it or not." I leaned against the lockers.
