Tyrant frowned, "What's so funny?" He asked putting his hands on his face to see if there was any more fur. THere wasn't. He sighed and walked to the window looking outside again.
Renian smiled gently and sat down on the bed. A thick cloud of silence fell over the room. You do! I don't! You do! I don't! Her heart argued with her mind. She shook the voices away and looked at the ground, silence growing so thick that you could cut it with a knife.
What do you know about me? Her mind shouted angrily. Renian blinked and looked up at Tyrant. "I'm usually like this," she teased, "you know not having anyone around kindaputsa toll on you." She smiled softly.
"Are you saying my cabin isn't safe?" She glared at him teasingly. Tyrant looked baffled.
"N-" Renian cut him off.
"I'm just kidding,"she laughed. "There is a cave on higher ground a little ways from here. We can go there." She stood and grabbed a few blankets, throwing them over one shoulder.
"Let me do something first." She said as she opened the door. The cat shot it but was immediately covered with a blanket. "He can breathe and he wont scratch anyone." She smiled as she grabbed more blankets.
Renian looked around the room, seeing her twin blades. She grabed them, sticking them on a belt loop. "That's everything," she sighed, walking down the stairs, out the door, and into the dark cave. Knowing that Tyrant coulddn't possibly see her from where he sat she allowed her wings to protrude from her back. RENian smiled. "I've never asked you this but, have you ever heard of Dragon Knights?"
