Tyrant didn't know what to say. He finished the food setting the plate on the night stand next to him. He forced himself up to a straighter sitting position and took a deep breath as pain coursed through his back. He looked at Renian while she fittled with something probably as bored as he was. Her long white hair looked smooth and silky. Her ears stood out a sharp black against her snow white hair. Her eyes were what always seemed to catch him. They were such a beautiful blue that it was unbelieveable. He smiled and rested his arms behind his head. He could sit here and look at her forever, but as soon as she looked up he looked away. He didn't want to scare her.
Renian blushed once she noticed that Tyrant had been watching her. Suddenly Striker ran into the room, hissing madly and his fur on end. "Striker?!" Renian screamed as Striker jumped onto her head, tugging at her ears. "There...must be...a storm...on the...way." Renian choked as she tried to pull the cat off her ears.
Tyrant jumped forward and helped pull the cat off her head. "Does he do this when there is any storm or just a bad one." He said holding the hissing cat in his hands so he couldnt' scratch anyone.
"Every storm...but he usually attacks my arms instead of my ears." Renian replied, taking Striker from Tyrant and tossing him out the door, shutting it behind him. She helped tyrant back into the bed and sat back down, breathing a sigh of relief.
Tyrant looked at her, "Like a girl friend? Nope, no girl in her right mind would try and snag me." He smiled looking back out the window.
"Why?" She asked,
"Just cause." He said, he couldn't tell her he was a dragon knight. "I'm kinda an outcast." HE replied. And so are you. He sighed in his mind. Best not think about that, you'll get her hurt or yourself.
Renian stood up to follow. As Tyrant reached for the door she remembered something. "Oh wait! The ca-" but it was to late, the black and white cat was running around the room in a flash, scratching at anything and everything.
Tyrant jumped back as the cat jumped onto his face. He hurridly grabbed it before it could do any real damage. "It really doesn't like storms does it." HE said putting it down and closing the door.
