Report A Site Bug

Just a bug that's been about off and on since the New YWS got put up, but the second pages of blogs doesn't always exist. Sometimes it skips to what I assume is the third page, but don't have a clear way of knowing. There are definitely a group of entries missing between the first and next page, though. Doesn't seem to matter what browser I'm using, though I use primarily Firefox and Chrome. Default template.

Don't have an exact time, because like I said, this has been off and on since we got the New YWS. I thought I'd let things calm a bit before I mentioned it and see if it didn't get fixed on its own in the mean time.

Here we go again...

Blogs, 9:30 pm in Southern Ontario, the same "bad request" error as before when I tried to comment on three different blogs (Jon's, Gry's and Shina's). Cleared my cookies and the problem's fixed. And I believe you know by now I have Safari.

Today was an anomaly when it came to blogs, though. I made 18 individual comments and a blog post of my own (the comments being mostly on different blogs. On Snoink's and my own I made multiple comments. Two and three, respectively). There certainly seemed to be way more cookies than normal, but I don't have any official numbers. I was just scrolling a bit longer than usual.

Since the blogs is a third party product and there's an update for it, I'm going to try applying that and see if it solves the issues. However, I won't be able to do it until Thursday.

I checked the Items With 0 Comments search, and discovered there is no rating shown. I checked one work and it was rated on the boards, but not on the 0 Comments. The same goes for the 1 Comment search.

Location on site: Everywhere, so far.
Bug: The navigation bar up there with My YWS, Community, Read/Write, etc. is clear. The words themselves are still white, but over a slightly grey-ish strip of white that, when the bar was black, was the darker part of it. So you can still sort of see the words, but not very well.

The YWS ball thing, however, is still black.

What's happening to Dreamer on Chrome browser is happening to me on Safari browser as well.

It's happening to me too. My browser is firefox.

I'm having trouble logging onto the chat. When the window opens the picture is shifted all the way over to the right so that the login button isn't accessible. Not sure if this is a site bug or just my computer.

Stori- Mind giving the forum that happened in and your timezone, so Nate knows where and exactly when to look?

Bug of my own: After looking at Randomness for the first time in ages, I noticed the "number of comments" column is one higher than it should be. Posts with zero comments are listed as having one, one comment shows up as two, ect.

I lost a critique draft. TT_TT I don't know exactly what time I saved it yesterday, but when I looked for it to complete it just now (1:30 EST), it was gone. The draft was for this work.

If anyone is still getting the weird white bar thing, just hit refresh. I have no idea how it happened, but it probably has to do something with making the site more compatible with IE 6. It just figures that making everything compatible for IE 6 also happened to break everyone else's browser...

If it is still going on after you hit refresh, let me know.

Kyllorac: I checked, and there's nothing wrong with the draft system. Are you sure you hit 'Save' then hit 'Yes' when the message appeared asking you to save the draft?

It worked when I refreshed! Using Firefox on some sort of school computer XP system... yeah. Not very helpful.

I'm thinking I may have accidentally deleted it when I was deleting some other saved drafts while half asleep. >.< Sorry to bother.

This is just insane.Apparently "Scrape" is a bad word in chat.I can figure out why, but the S is present at the beginning.Should this error be rectified?

So is the case with scrap.

I think chat censors need some revision.
