From time to time, you may come across a bug. If you do so, try the following steps first: 1. Clear you cache. In Firefox, go to Tools ->> Clear Private Data. You only need to check cache. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools ->> Internet Options ->> Browsing History (Under general tab) ->> Delete. You only need to delete 'Temporary Internet Files.' 2. Make sure you have cookies enabled. Go to http://www.google.com/cookies.html and follow the instructions for your browser. 3. If step one & two do not work, then do this, but only if you use Firefox. Go to Tools ->> Options ->> Privacy ->> Cookies ->> Show Cookies. Scroll down to "youngwriterssociety.com," then select it with your mouse (click once). Then hit the "clear cookie" button. If you're using IE, unfortunately you can't clear individual cookies, and I don't recommend clearing all cookies. Hey Nate! The Writer's Corner isn't working right now. I'm using IE 8. I don't know if you're updating or such, but I'm getting this error:

General Error
template->_tpl_load(): No file specified for handle body

EDIT- I get the same error message when I click on a blog over a user's profile.

EDIT 2- When I click between entries over the selection list (I hope that made sense. Basically, when I try to click on a blog entry anywhere but the Blogs page) I get that error message.

EDIT 3- And now I can't see blogs at all? I click on "Blogs" and get the error above.

EDIT 4- Cleared my YWS cookies and the problem is now fixed. :D

Sorry for the double-post!

I was poking around portfolios just now, and every time I clicked on an item I got a message saying "The requested topic does not exist." I clicked items in my own portfolio, ones I know I haven't removed, and I got the same message. Folders work just fine; I only get that message when I click on an actual story.

And there seems to be a glitch in the Knowledge Base. Whenever I look at the main search screen I can't see my list of articles I've made favourites. I can view them when I'm looking at an article, but not when I'm searching through articles. (There's also a slightly minor thing with my avatar and username not showing up in the User Menu. It says " 's Menu." But, as I said, that's minor.)

I'll take a look at all that Rosey! Chances are, it has to do with the update yesterday from phpBB 3.0.5 to 3.0.6.

The Safari thing is a known issue that has to do with the cookies. Clearing the cookies does help, but I'm still looking for a better solution.

Rosey, I'm not sure if the portfolio issue has something to do with moved topics? If you posted a piece in Other Fiction and moved it to fantasy, it will show in your portfolio, but will take you to a dead topic.

June- I was clicking topics that have never been moved.

Nate- These bugs only showed up after the update, so you're probably right. I'm also happy to hear that you're looking into that cookie issue. :)

EDIT- It would appear that the About Us page hasn't been updated for the new rating system yet. I'd think that needs to be changed? (Sheesh, will I stop finding things today? :P)

Well, I have more.

I clicked on every JM Crew listing (one per cluster) and got this error every time:

Also, for everyone, I just discovered a curious bug. For some reason, most groups now require approval of all posts. I don't know how this happened, but I'll fix it tomorrow.

It should be noted that this error was so consistent I basically gave up clicking on each Crew listing in the forums and did random spot-checks for each cluster.

That is for all Crews of the forum/Big Brother. I also clicked the JM listing at the bottom of the Community Forums page, and got the same error.

Though I uploaded an attachment of a word document ,the work does not get submitted.It says a general error occured and the file cannot be viewed.

I was told I should post this here. For the last two days when I tried to post something I got a message that I needed to wait for the thing I wrote to be approved before It would be posted. The first time this happened the message was posted about an hour after I wrote it, but today I tried to post something around 4:30 pm. It's past midnight right now and it still hasn't shown up yet. I tried looking in the community forums to find any announcements about it but couldn't find any. If this really is a planned change to the site, then I don't think it would be very efficient.

It seems to be only happening in the Double-Trouble Writing Huddle usergroup. I'll contact the usergroup moderator about it, but I thought I should post this message here to let some of the admins know.
