The New and Improved Twisted and Completely Out There Story

"OK, what the hell is going on?" Alexx snapped, once again enraged. "Peter was evil, we killed him, he came back and saved your lives?"

"And made me mortal," Owen added.

"Shut up!" Alexx snapped. "Greg was evil, and in love with Hannah...and now he's here and being...nice."

"People change," Sara noted.

"How about Greg tells us the real story, as i"m sure he knows it so well," Owen suggested, sitting his wife down.

Peter simply nodded to Greg. They both knew the story all to well.

"Well....First I want to apoligize to all of you for what I did. I...wasn't in control."

"A likely story," snapped Alexx.

"Alexx, sweety," said Owen, "Shut-up" She crossed her arms with a humph and let Greg continue.

"There is a being. A very very dark being. He cant manifeste himself into physical form but he can infect a person's soul and take control. That's what happened to me and Peter.

"Hannah took The being from peter and stuck it with me. But i guess my soul was stronger than he thought it would be. I stopped him long enough for Sara to destroy my body. Then I destroyed my soul."

"But...How are you here? If you have no soul how can you be alive?" asked Sara.

"You, Your memories and love have given me life. I guess Love really can overcome all."

"Greg...there's no time." Peter began to put his coat back on and head for the door.
"No time left for what?" Sara lept up from her chair. "My husbands returned from the dead and you just expect me to let him go?"
"Honey...I can explain. Peter and I were able to escape his rule but others might not be able to. We have to destroy him. Now. It won't take him long to recover and strike again, creating a new evil. Now i think Peter should tell you what he knows." All faces turned towards Peter.
"What do you know Peter?"
"Well...the creature that imprisoned Greg and myself, Him as mortals call it was Odin."
" We knew He was Od-" Alexx began to talk but Peter cut her off.
"No. Mortals may never speak that name again. And well, that's not all. The elders have betrayed us. They were working for Him all along. That's why all of the rules were made in a way that legalized my action's. From now on, we're elders."

"The balance was screwed out of whack and has been for a long time," said Greg, "We have to fix this."

"We'll go with you!" said Sara. Owen agreed instantly. Alexx did too, but she seemed reluctant.

"What about the babies?" said Peter

Sara looked down at the little babies in her arms, what should they do? "We can't bring them along," Sara declared. "But I'm not staying behind."

Greg sat as close to her as he could on the bed, "well what do we do?"

"We could," Sara swallowed, "put them up for adoption?"

"But, we dont know what will happen to them. They're not exactly whole human." argued Greg

"We cant raise them like this. As much as i want to keep them, we cant. We have to think of them first." It sounded final. Greg knew they wouldn't be able to care for the children like they should.

"It is settled then?"

Sara nodded, allowing the tears to flow, "Alexx, you'll have to do the same with Matt."

"No!" she stood up enthrawled.

"Alexx we have to! Theres nothing else to do! We can take them to the police station with a letter, asking somebody to take care of them until, god willing, we can come get them again!"

"Not adoption though," Alexx snapped. "Foster care, or something, but not adoption...if someone adopts them then we can't take them back...ever."

"She's right," Greg agreed.

"Well, what're we going to do?" Owen asked.

"Can't we get fulltime babysitters?" Alexx suggested, in one of her ditzier moments.

"No..." Sara gave her friend the crazy look.

"Wait...Alexx, that's a brilliant idea!"

"I'm not leaving my kids with a couple teenagers!" Greg exclaimed.

"No," Owen continued. "Alexx's parents. THey could take care of them...if they're willing."

Sara's eyes became so wide she thought they would shoot out of her head, "that is brilliant!" she said too loud. Her babies started crying. After she calmed them down she looked at Alexx who was pulling out her cell phone and dialing her parents number.

She turned to Greg, "we should name them."

Greg took the little girl and stared at her, "how about Margret? For the grandma she'll never know."

Sara smiled and looked at the little boy, "how about Keith, for the grandpa he'll never know."

It seemed fitting, Margret named after Sara's mother and Keith named after Gregs father.

"My parents would be thrilled," Alexx said, closing her phone. Everybody sighed in relieif.

Once they were allowed to leave the hospital, the grabbed a cab back to Alexx and Owens' house and packed some things for the kids. Then they put everything into their car and started the logn drive to Alexx's parents' house.

The drive to Alexx's parents house wasn't that long. It was just two towns over. But it seemed to take forever with three infants in the car.

Sara and Greg couldn't take their eyes off of their twins. They were so beautiful, it was hard to believe.

Tears filled Sara's eyes which she quickly swipped away, "I like this plan better than mine."

"What plan?"

"The plan for what to do with the kids, I like this plan better."

Greg kissed her, "I like it better too."

"Thanks Mom," Alexx said as she handed Matt to her mother.

"No problem dear," Alexx' mom replied. "It's about time I get to see my grandson. And Sara's practically a daughter to me, so her kids are family too." Sara cried as she handed one of the twins to Alexx's dad.

"So, where are you kids headed?" he asked as he took Margaret.

"Um..." Alexx began, giving Greg a sideways glance and hoping he had an answer.

"We have to go meet an old friend," Sara intrupted with a smile. She wasn't lying, Orion had once been her friend, but for a very short time. Orion had once been her boss before she got her job tailing people.

"And he's not all that fond of children," Alexx added, catching onto the idea.

"Ah, and three little tikes is just too much," Alexx's mom said.

It was better that Alexx's mom didn't know, but she had to tell them to get to a safe spot and stay there. Orion would love slaughtering all five of them as a means of torture.

As if Greg could sense her concern he said, "we'd appreciate it if you didn't take them out much, they're still very little."

"Of course," Alexx's dad said, then in a lower tone added, "if theres a problem, with you know him tell me now, and I'll take us somewhere safe."

Sara and Greg nodded, "we don't know how long we'll be."

"Alright, we'll keep them safe."

Sara hugged him, allowing the tears to flow freely, "thank you."

With a lot of tears they left Alexx' parents house.

"So, where exactly is this guy?" Alexx asked, turning around in her seat so she was facing Sara and Greg, who sat in the back.

"It's been so long, I dont know if he's still there or not," said Sara looking at her hands.

"Well," said Greg.

"Last I saw him, Orion was in Japan." Everyone groaned a bit. this looked even harder.
