**Adam's post made no sense...is Greg Peter? Because Peter's good....really confused right now. And Please don't make Peter, Greg, and Greg, Peter.**

Huang hit the ground with a thud. "God that hurt." He shook off the dirt on his shirt. He looked up and saw Alexx with Matt. "NO!" HE turned back into his goopy black form and shot up the side of the building.
"Leave me alone you creep!" Alexx shouted, leaping out of the way of the huge black form, luging at her.
"GIVE ME THE VAMPIRE!" Huang leaped on to Alexx surrounding her."I will watch you die! Both of you!"
"No you won't." Peter flew by, ripping Huang off. "Long time, no see." He threw Huang off the side off the building.
"Thanks Peter." Alexx got up. "Wait..WHERE"S MATT?" They looked off the side to see Huang resting on and ledge, holding Matt in his hand.
"Looking for something?" Huang evily laughed. ALexx leaped off the side, tackling huang and plunging to the street below.
**Alexx didn't die. Remember she has powers**

"I know what I got to do." Peter turned around. If he had to die to save Greg than let it be. He turned around and charged head first into the Black Claw army. HE knew his purpose. It was time to fufill it.

Sara followed Peter while Owen chased after Alexx. As Peter formed a trail towards Greg Sara chased after him. As she ran she forgot that it was her husband that she was running toward, and she thought she was running toward Peters latest incarnation.

Which in a way it was.

When the Black Claw army started turning on Peter, Sara fought to get free and passed. She managed to grab a dagger as she ran.

Greg looked out into the death of New York. The "heroes" had arrived. I grow tired of them He focused and transported to the battle in a swirl of darkness.

Sara was blowing away his army one by one with her magic. So powerful she was, but not strong enough to stop Greg.

a blast of Darkness sent her into a wall. She looked up to her Greg standing over her. "Can you kill me? Do you have the strenght?"

Sara faltered. She second guessed her resolve. It was her husband. The father of her children, the man she vowed to love forever more.

"I thought so." A ball of darkness formed in his hand. The final Strike, the word seemed to stand still.

"I love you," whispered Sara. A sudden flash engulfed them. A nearly transparent version of Greg floated between the solid one and Sara.

"No!" screamed the Dark Greg. "How can this be!"

"Kill him!" cried the bright, ghostly Greg.

"What is..." Sara gasped.

"Strike him the Heart!" Sara found her resolve. This...man was not her husband. He looked a lot like him but he was not Greg!

"You will not tear my family apart!" Sara plunged the dagger through the ghostly appearence of Greg into the Heart of the Dark one. His grew wide in shock.

"I..was so close this time....you havent heard the last of me!" Greg's body shattered, leaving the glowing version behind.

"Thank you, I knew you could do it." said Greg's ghost.

"What..is happening?" Sara asked.

"I..have to leave you. Take care of our children. I wish i could promise to see you again....but it would be a lie." The ghost Greg started to glow brighter and brighter. His form gaining height.

Alexx and owne stared up with the Dark Claw army at the shining beacon. It pulsed a brilliant light. So warm and inviting. With a powerful burst, Light engulfed all of New York City.

Good bye.....My friends......

The light faded. Newyork was back to normal. All the people, buildings and Central Park were back.

A tiny shard of crystal fell in front of Sara, "Greg?" tears fell at once. She couldn't feel him at all. His presence was gone. "GREG!"

A month went by, and Sara rarely got out of bed. She could greive now, Matt was home and safe, and she knew Greg loved her, before he died.

Life was of no interest to her anymore. She had started dreaming of Greg, the time they spent together. Each dream was so beautiful that she forced herself to sleep longer just to stay with him longer.

She barely woke up when Alexx and Owen came over to pry her into the daylight. Everytime she looked in the mirror she could see him behind her, and when she turned to see him, he was gone.

Another month went by, and sara kept finding it harder and harder to get out of bed.

Four months had gone by before she decided to try living again. She still had her twins to think about and she would like to be able to go to a hospital when she was going to have them.

Alexx greated her at the door with coffee. "Oh bless you," Sara said taking a cup.

"Sara, I was thinking. I know it isn't really my place, but perhaps you should try getting a job?" Alexx asked quietly, as she messed around iwth breakfast.

"I was thking just that," Sara replied. "I was also thinking of going back home soon. I hate to intrude like this."

"You aren't intruding, and you know it!" Alexx cried, turning around and facing her friend with a stern look. "Sara, we lvoe having you here! Matt adores you, and you're great adult company! We honestly are dreading the day you move out! Why don't you stay? Please!"

"I'll think about it," Sara replied grudgingly.

"That'll do for now."

Sara said she needed to go for a walk, which was met by protests from Alexx and Owen, she was in her ninth month but she had to get out, she had to do something.

She didn't know how long she walked, or how far she went, all she knew was at some point she cried out in pain and her water broke.

Somebody from the nearby park came over and hailed a cab, he seemed to know what was happening and how to handle it. He whispered reassurences in her ear with a voice that sounded so much like Greg's.

He pulled out a phone and dialed a number just as Sara had another contraction. He spoke urgently but Sara couldn't tell who he was talking to.

Less than five minutes later she found herself in the hospital being wheeled around. Her eyes still wouldn't focus.

Alexx and Owen ran through the hospital doors, refusing to stop as many people asked to see their IDs.

"We're trying to find a Sara Kinith," Alexx snapped at the receptionist.

"That way, third room on the right," the receptionist replied lazily. Alexx ran down the hall, closely followed by Owen, and threw the room door open immediatly.

"Oh my god." she fainted when she saw who was standing next to the bed.

Sara felt a bit dazed but she could make out Alexx's fourm burst through the door and then faint. Another pain shot through her and she cried out in pain.

When the realization of what was happening dawned on her, she could feel the already broken pieces of her heart shattering.

When she woke up several hours later she saw Greg's face she burst into tears. Tears of joy and of sorrow. She had died, she would get to be with Greg again, but she'd never be able to hold her children.

"whats the matter? Are you in pain?" he asked wiping a lock of hair out of her face.

"no," she shook her head, "i'm just... I wish I had had a chance to hold our children, before..."

"Before what love?"

"Before I died."

"Honey, you're not dead."

"What the hell are you doing here you stupid bastard!" Alexx screamed once she came to and saw Greg sitting there. She swung at him, hitting him narrowly in the jaw. Blood began pouring out of his mouth at an alarmingly fast rate, and she went to hit him again. Owen ran over and grabbed her around the waist, holding her back.

"Don't, honey. Calm down!" he ordered, pulling her away from Greg.

"I deserved taht," he consented, wiping his mouth with his shirt.

"You deserve more than that you crazy--"

"Honey, please!" Owen said, turning her around. She burst into tears in his shoulder.

"He can't be here," her voice was muffled but hearable. "After what he did, he can't be here. It's not right. The stupid bastard has ruined our lives far too many times; I can't see him hurt her again." Greg sat next to Sara's bed, listening but at the same time not.

"Enough!" yelled Greg, "You dont even know what happened! You want to come and judge me and you dont eve know the truth. None of us have knwn the truth sonce everything started!"

Alexx seemed to withdraw a bit. Sara was still fading in and out. A vampire pregancy didn't seem to be as comfortable as a human one was....not that a human pregnancy is comfortable.

"Then enlighten us," asid Owen. He was calm but at the same time, on edge. Greg fadded a bit and then returned to focus.

"I wonder how long I have...."

*note she's already had her kids at this point*

Sara gripped onto conciousness, "Greg, honey, tell us later please," she begged, clutching his hand, "I just want to see the twins."

"Um... honey," Greg said in a hesitant tone.

"What?" Sara replied, coming on high alert, "whats wrong?"

"There's a problem..."

"What problem?" Saras eyes began to pool with tears, and she did nothing to wipe them away when they spilled over. "What's wrong?"

"What'd you do?" Alexx asked, immediately sure that it was Gregs fault if something was wrong.

"well..." Greg stared at her. Suddenly the machine next to Sara started going off and they all turned to look at her. She had gone silent, still, and pale.

"Oh shit," Owen said, running out into the hallway and shouting for a nurse. Alexx ran to the bedside and examined the machine...the pulse reader thingy..(yeah, i'm good.)

"Sara, honey," Greg swept a lock of hair across her face, it was deathly cold. Tears leaked out of his eyes as he said, "Sara, please, I just found my way back to you, don't leave me now. Please."

Nothing happened, Greg was infuriated, were the elders so grudgeful that they would yank happiness away from them again? He wanted to confront them, wanted to shout and make them save her. But he didn't dare leave her side. Not again.

His image was fading again. He wouldn't be able to maintain existence if Sara died.

"Please," he whispered in her ear, "You have to stay, I...cant go with you, please come back...."

The room started to melt away in a flurry of light. Peter stepped forward. He looked....holy. Alexx clenched her jaw as Owen held her by the shoulders.

"We cant have her diening now can we," with a wave of peter's hand Sara sat straight up gasping. Greg's image returned to solid as she wrapped her arms around them.

"Peter?" said Owen quiziclly.

"I'm taking charge of the situation. The elders are all gone," Peter said. He waved his hand again and two small children appeared.

Greg caught her in an embrace as he shot foward, "G-Greg?" she asked looking at him. "Whats going on?"

"Peter saved us."

"He what?"

"He saved our lives and," he handed her a tiny baby girl, "our twins."

Sara's happiness was unbelieveable, and at the same time so was her confusion. She couldn't figure out whats happening, or why it happened. Something in her told her it was a dream, but she wasn't going to let that part wake her up. It was way too good for that.
