The New and Improved Twisted and Completely Out There Story

She was clear and glowing. It became real, she was gone. Sperated from her body.

"Good bye...My love," Sara smiled back at him, speaking but no words came out. She mouthed the words: I'll be waiting and she was gone.

"We have to continue," said Caden, "Pain is hard but you knw we have to go on." Alexx was sobbing into Owen, silent tears running down his face.

"I know we do. For Sara we go on. For the world we will finish what we started."

Caden also added, "for your children, the part of Sara you will have forever." Caden looked around and said, "Do you need a new car?"

Greg nodded.

With a whisp of her hand another car appears, a red Jaguar. The hottest car Caden owned, and the one she could most easily replace.

She hopped into the drivers seat and waited for everyone to join her.

"What about Sara's body?" Alexx asked.

Sara's body dissappeared, everybody started, "She's at her old home, waiting for you to return so she can be buried properly." The compassion in her voice was genuine.

Silent tears still running down her face, Alexx climbed into the backseat of the car with Owen. Greg sat in the front passenger seat, next to Caden.

"What did you mean when you said you were supposed to replace her?" Greg asked suddenly. "Just on the mission, right?" he looked worried.

Caden shrugged, "thats what they told me." she turned a raised eyebrow to him, not focusing on the road, "what did you mean?"

Greg looked embarresed and turned away, "nothing."

Caden laughed, "no Gregory, its not like that."

Greg breathed a sigh of relief. Caden was way too cocky right now, and he didn't totally trust her.

"You can trust me you know," she said, reading his thoughts.

"What?"

"I won't hurt you, or Alexx or Owen. I was sent to help you save the world."

"Sent by whom?"

Caden shrugged, "I just woke up one day and knew I had to do this."

"We've all had that moment," sighed Greg, "hopefully you end up better than we have."

"Meh," she put her foot all the way down on the gas, no one seemed to be driving today so she took advantage of the speed of her car.

"I just want this to be over already," Owen muttered.

"We have a lot of work ahead of us, you know. None of us have our Elder powers," Caden informed them.

"Our what powers?"

"We're replacing the Elders, remember. We still need to get our powers."

"And how do we do that?"

"I was hoping you guys knew or something." Caden made a sharp turn sending everyone to the right, and then went into a feild.

"Where are you going?" Greg asked.

"Tokyo, remember?"

"Yeah, I remember, I just didn't think you did."

"Peter is causing all sorts of trouble, he'll most likely be waiting in one of the old temples." Alexx said, "

"I where our new powers are?" Owen pondered.

Nearly an hour later they were walking on foot into the now ruined city. Peter had nearly leveled Japan's capital. Once tall and proud building now lay in giant piles of metal and ash.

Flames were still reaching for the sky, bodies around them. Some alive, most not.

"This is terrible," Muttered Caden.

"Come on," said Greg, "Thw sooner we find him the better."

Caden fought the bile as it rose in her throat, "why would he do something like this?"

"Its not really his choice," Alexx said, "he's kinda being controlled."

Caden turned to see a child on the ground, Greg grabbed her arm and tried to turn her back, "the only way to help is to find Peter."

"But," she swallowed tears, "he's just a child."

"This is Okri Minuchi reporting for English-Japanesse Relations Network." Oriki spoke into his microphone with discomfort. He couldn't take much more of this. He almost lost his job, his powers went crazy yesterday and nearly killed his family, and now this. Suicide was not far away for Oriki. If one more thing happened...
"C'mon...this is live." The camera man whispered menacingly to Oriki.
"Great...Just great. My life is a waste..." Oriki threw himself to the ground.
"Don't worry. I can make it all go away." Oriki looked up just in time to see his camera man drop to the floor. Dead.
"AIII! Whose there?" A man in a black trench coat appeared next to him.
"Just look into my eyes and it will all go away." The last thing Oriki saw was a flash of red.

"He's more than just a child," Alexx said quietly, holding Owen tightly. "He's my brother. Dammit, why's everything gotta be like this. Peter's always getting sucked into bad things."

"Don't worry, we'll sort it out," Owen assured her. Greg nodded his agreement.

"SOmetimes I wonder if hte only way to end this is to kill Peter..." she whispered.

"THere has to be another way," Greg decided immediately.

Peter walked down the old subway tunnel, anticipating the battle to come. He had awaited this day for a long time. Today would be the day he would once again begin his rule of terror. He would become the leader of this weak, useless planet. He would make this world whole agian. Several men walked ahead of him, cluess to his presence. They would soon respect him.

"Hello." The men whirled around.
"Who are you?"
"You're worst nightmare."

Greg felt a sharp pain go through him, Peter was killing. "We need to hurry this along, Peter is moving quickly."

"I can feel him too," Caden said, "He's so powerful and so conflicted."

"We wont be able to kill him directly, but maybe we can appeal to his light, it's in there, fighting for freedom. I think we can do it."

"I think Alexx can do it." Caden looked back, Alexx didn't lok ready, but she had to be.

Peter's whole body coursed with power, his very being seemed ready to snap with the weight of the strength. His jeans and Mountain Dew t-shirt were soaked in blood. He hadn't felt like this in years. It was so good. He had just two more people to kill and it would be done. He would have gotten rid of the barriers and the world would be weak. Without these dream men, the world would become a nightmare. Total hell would break loose. And it just so happened his middle name was Hell.
