Greetings crewmates, captains, and onlookers! This week, four ships dared to brave the Tsunami, and all four have made it through to claim their riches! This is an impressive feat for all four of the ships, and it deserves recognition that their fourteen crewmates were able to ride the waves until the very final week, writing a total of 400,000 words over 20 weeks. In this final week, the week of the Tsunami, these four ships wrote a combined total of 165,000 words!
But, there can only be one ship that can claim the title of the
Last Ship Sailing.
Last Ship Sailing.

Now! Without further ado, I am pleased to announce the results for The Last Ship Sailing: Round II!
Now, before I reveal Second and First place, I must add a disclaimer first! This was an extremely tight race. The difference between first and second place is only 260 words, and word counters have some area of error in them. I double, triple, even quadruple checked these wordcounts. That's how close this race was towards the finish line.
...Enough waiting!

Now for some nitty gritty details:
Spoiler
The gap between first and second place was so close that I couldn't just take one wordcounter's numbers. So, in order to arrive at the conclusion I did, I used four different wordcounters: thewordcounter.com; wordcounter.io; Microsoft Word; and Google Docs. I then took those four different numbers and took the average of them as the final wordcount. Below are my numbers:
Death from the Depths
47571 - thewordcounter.com
47467 - Google Docs
47592 - Microsoft Words
47479 - wordcounter.io
47527 - FINAL
The Fools' Quest
47825 - thewordcounter.com
47732 - Google Docs
47868 - Microsoft Word
47722 - wordcounter.io
47787 - FINAL
This method is not foolproof, nor is it a great method, but it was the best method I could do to get as accurate as possible number for both ships. GG everyone
