ᑎᗩᑭO ᗩᗪᐯEᖇTISEᗰEᑎT ᑕOᑎTEST
NaPo is just around the corner, and I'd like to enlist your help in spreading the poetry vibes! It can be a bit confusing trying to figure out what exactly NaPo is with all the different threads floating about, so an advertisement that puts all of that information together in a short, easy-to-read, aesthetic way can be very helpful. If you're passionate about poetry and are handy at graphic design, then this contest is for you!
In short, the contest is to design an advertisement about NaPo that can be used around YWS in lead up to and during NaPo. You're allowed to submit as many ads as you like - please upload your ads as images (a link to an image is perfectly okay as well).
Criteria
How much or little information you put in the advertisement is more or less up to you. However, some details you might want to consider including:
-> what NaPoWriMo stands for (National Poetry Writing Month)
-> what the goal is (to write 30 poems!)
-> why you should participate!
-> all the fun poetry stuff that happens on YWS during the month (you can check out 2021 NaPo Information Center for a nice overview.)
Psst something to potentially keep in mind while you're designing: NaPo on YWS is jam-themed this year, in honour of poetry jams!
Prizes
First and second place ads will be used around the site for pre-NaPo hype in the last week of March and throughout NaPo as well. If you make an ad that doesn't get nominated for first or second place, you are still of course totally welcome to use it on your wall to spread NaPo cheer around YWS!
First place - 1000 points
Second place - 750 points
