This might be a bit slow but here's some world-building I'm quite happy with and hopefully the dialogue will be fun enough to pull it off.

On re-reading this it's maybe more rushed than I remembered, but well... Janny makes a choice. And I am proud of him for that.

Janny discovers more about those politics he hasn't been paying much attention to.
