I lost you too fast.
I loved you too soon.
My heart swelled to the clouds,
just like a balloon.
~
I doubt it everyday:
the way you feel for me.
Because over time,
feelings grow like a tree.
Its branches stretch
to the unknown
and a blossom, anew,
is soon to be grown.
~
I know soon you will forget about me,
and that small seed that grew into a tree.
But if I were to tell you one thing,
Just one more.
I would tell you,
you were the hope I was looking for.
~
I would tell you all of the times,
where you made the sun shine
The hard seemed to soften,
and the trials became fine.
~
And you didn't know,
and you never will.
What was actually happening,
the worriedness it filled.
The hardships I was facing,
the struggles that killed.
~
Saying goodbye stabs into my heart,
I couldn't bear it once more.
Sincerely,
The one who you fell for.

I really like this poem. It is emotional and invokes sadness because it’s a sad poem. I love the similes and metaphors that you use. Your words are elegant and smooth, which makes your sentences flow very well. My favorite part of the poem is the second to last stanza. I also like the inconsistency of the lengths of the stanzas. Most of the poems I have read in the past all have the stanzas all the same length. However, I love how each of your stanzas are different lengths, it adds character to the poem. Overall, your poem was fantastic. Keep up the good work!
thank u
hey v, e here for a short review (or a long one idk)
This poem really caught my eye, especially since it reminded me of a certain author. (Lemony Snicket) in the series of unfortunate events series. This sort of gives off a gloomy type of vibe as you are saying goodbye.
Glows
It flowed really well.
I loved the poetic devices, such as similes, metaphors ect.
it was heartfelt, many poets can try to mimic heart break as a rock hard type of way (i know im not making sence here, but just hold on for a sec) but you describe it sort of a sad, yet airy.
