Verse 1
Today, it's Halloween
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Trick or treat, you and me
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Door to door, get candy
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Don't know what I'll be
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Chorus
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating everyday
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating everyday
Every day
Every day
Verse 2
To Wal-mart, we go to buy
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Costumes for you and I
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Go out when there's no light
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Walk to every house in sight
(uh-huh, uh-huh)
Chorus
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating everyday
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating everyday
Every day
Every day
Bridge
So head out, to get candy
Head out for some treats
Head out to get some luck
Head out for some sweets
It's our time to make a move
It's our time to knock on doors
It's our time to escape curfew
So let's begin
Chorus
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating every day
And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick-or-treating every day
Every day
Every day

Hello, Artemis28. I'm pretty late on this review, but I love X Ambassadors and had to read this. I am re-listening to Renegades as I write this, for reference.
I really liked the way you fit with the song's beat and pattern, especially for the lines in the chorus.
"And I say hey, hey hey hey
Trick or treating everyday" made me smile.
Connecting Halloween with this song was an interesting idea, and you kept the theme together throughout the verses.
There was just one grammar edit you may wish to make, on "Costumes for you and I." The correct word would be "Costumes for you and me," but I realize you may have to keep this line the way it is in order to maintain your rhyme scheme. I didn't find any other errors in grammar, spelling, or punctuation, so you did a great job in that area.
I would really like to read some other lyrical parodies like this, perhaps on "Unsteady" or "Unconsolable." This was very good and accurate to the song.
This is Meerkat signing off. Have a great day, and thank you for writing!
Hello Artemis28, Amindor here.
First, Happy review day! Second, I really enjoying reading this and playing out what the tune would be in my head. Was this meant to be a parody for the song 'This is Halloween' by The Nightmare Before Christmas? If so, then you played out the rhythm really well. If not, well, either way, it's still pretty awesome. I enjoyed this, and I can't wait to read and review more of your work in the future! Keep writing on!
No, for Renegades.
