My grandpa told me of long ago
When people traveled in cars
When the world was thought
To have the only life
(But now we know of Mars)
I wondered if they used a drodger
But Uncle Richard said
To catch the daily news
that they used television instead!
What if you woke up one day
On a mattress made of foam
Instead of gell pads
With dream absorbers
Would you feel at home?
I guess it wouldn't be too bad
with styles for our clothes
instead of gear protecting us
from growing ozone holes
Well I guess that when I'm old and grey
I'll be telling my kids too
Of when the world had stranger things
But I'm sure they'll have no clue.

I loved this poem. Your writings are very thought out-I think- and very different in a way.
<<i love that smiley face!
It's cool how...I don't know..old people can relate. Haha Obviously, because they might blabber on and on about "the good old days". Or even your parents telling you "When I was your age..."
Loved It!
Interesting perspective and well put together. I enjoyed it.
Reminds me of how some of the little kids I know that don't believe me when I tell them about cassette tapes.
uuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm...okay, M.J....
uh...
this was um...another interesting poem...
joey's sitting beside me saying it makes no sense...but i'm not sure if he read all of it...
its relatively abstract in how it's written...
i'm not sure what else to say about it...spelling and grammar checks out okay, but i'm pretty sure you don't care about that.
sorry. this didn't help much.
