My face pressed up against the glass
The branches striking the window
I caught a glimpse of lightning at last
And whispered a sigh of content
My head was whirling round and round
From the rushing water, the terrific sound
As the thrill of the storm ran through my veins,
Whistling, pulsing, chanting.

i know, not consistent rhyming. i like it better that way.

Very well written piece of work!
Even though the ending threw me off a bit it was very good.
Keep up the good work. I would love to read some thing from you again!
-Much encouragement Tiffany
nice. I like the way this poem flows. It's very rhythmic (is that a word?)
I'm pretty sure you have all the punctuation stuff right.
all in all, it's a electrifying poem.
