Ah! That fear of
Opening another book
When you've just finished
A masterpiece.
The uncertainty
Whether this one will be good enough
Compared to the last.
The denial
To live in any world
Except the last one
The most beautiful you experienced;
Whose words had captured your heart
And trapped you in their golden cage
That when you were set free
You no longer wanted to leave
That blissful world.
Ah! That fear of
Beginning a new journey!

Hey there! I really like this poem, and I certainly can relate! It's cool how you've used the line "Ah! That fear of" at both the beginning and the end. It helps give the poem a unified quality. I also think you've done well evoking the feelings that come with this experience.
Your format is nice and clear, and your spelling and grammar are great. I really admire the clean, organized appearance and the good flow. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot for the review Winny! Glad you liked it <3
“The uncertainty

I will never forget Harry Potter……… and how empty I felt after I finished it!!!
True that <3
I agree with that I was so mad when I finished too!
And when I opened another book, I was convinced it would be stupid, but hey! Guess what? Not so bad.
And you didn't really describe the fear. You should focus on staying with wanting to be in that world.
sure you can
Thanks for the review..<3
^Love these lines!
Some nice musings about reading you have here c:
Thanks for the review ^-^ !
Hello Hikari here with a review!
Let's jump right in shall we?
I loved this poem everything about it spoke to me on that level that all book lovers know.
{Ah! That fear of
Opening another book
When you've just finished
A masterpiece. }
Oof way to hit me in the feels right from the start lol.
{Ah! That fear of
Beginning a new journey!}
I think this last line here was my favorite! I don't really have any criticism it was a wonderful poem, kudos! ❤
Thanks for the review Hikari! <3
Hey anne! Incoming review!
I think you meant to put "The most beautiful thing you experience;" But that was the only minor thing I found to critique.Your poem perfectly describes book hangover. Ah, the struggles of an avid reader. Anyway, onto the review!
I'll start out with critique first.
Let me praise your work now! Your use of an interjection in the beginning catches the reader's eye and wants them to understand why it was used. And the words just flow together so well. And I feel this every time I read a new book because my book taste has been tainted with The Outsiders lol.
But that's all I have for today. I hope you found some of it useful. Sorry I didn't have more to critique or say, most of what you wrote spoke for itself! You're a great writer, keep it up! Anyway byeeeeeeeeeee<3
Thanks for the review FireEyes! <3
I love this poem, it's so relatable!
Thanks LadyTano!
