For those who enjoyed my work 2 minutes- here is the continuance! It is longer, and explains everything! All questions will be answered, even the ones I had while writing it! ;) Hope you enjoy, for this will be better, I took my time instead of only having 5 minutes! I advise you read 2 minutes because it starts off from there! There will be one more part after this, that will lead straight up to the action! Let me know if you want the last part!
Perhaps I should start from the beginning before this whole mess happened. I will start from about a day ago. My name is Amy Lyles, and I am 14 years old. I live a pretty normal life, have a family, go to a local public school, and I get along with people pretty well. I have a good small family, for it's only my parents and I. They both worked selling houses, while I worked hard in school. I have a few friends who come over and do things every now and then-but other than that, my life is pretty dull.
"Hurry up Amy, I swear I saw an iceberg go by the window!" my best friend Alexia exaggerated as I slowly made my way to the lunch line. I was feeling kind of tired because of the nightmares keeping me up at night, and had no desire to be running anywhere at the time. Alexia gave my a fake pouty face and I sighed a quickened my pace. There was no other way to appease her constant nagging and teasing. As I finally joined her in line, she gave me a quick smile, and began to tell me about her morning classes. It seemed to be the same story being told on different days, with the occasional difference of a substitute or classmate. As Alexia came to a stopping point on her conversation, she took a good look at me, and finally realized how tired I really was.
" Do you not sleep at night?" she said to be with a slight tone of concern in her voice. I nodded slightly, and decided to tell her about my weird dreams. She seemed eager to hear my new story, because even she knew her daily routine got boring after a while. I took a deep breath and began to describe the horrors I have been living in my dreams for the past few nights that kept me from my sleep.
" Well," I started, getting ready to talk fast to avoid others to overhear, "For one, you have to understand, it is the same dream over, but I do not know why it keeps on repeating. If you really want to know, I will tell you. Okay now, in this dream, I am walking down some pavement from school one day and this man is following me. I do not know why, or who he is, but he seems to keep up with me. I notice every time I sped up, that he did as well. Near the end of my dream I turn a few corners and I am gone. As a forget about it, and I am almost home, I feel a quick jerk from behind me as I held, and a soaked cloth is put upon my face. It all seems so real, the way I lose conscience, and fall into his unfamiliar arms, unable to get back up."
She gives me a look of pure shock, the concern. I see the my hands are shaking and are strangely pale a shaking slightly. I can tell that I scared Alexis, as well and myself when I told her about my dream.
"Why do you think you are having it? It seems kinda strange, having the same bad dream over and over, and it seeming so real! What are you going to do Amy?"
"I am going to try and forget it, and if that does not work, I may have to talk to my mom." I answer still unsure of myself. I am worried for myself, and what the dream may mean, and hoped that is would get better. I knew they would not, so I tried my best to concentrate the rest of the school day, and got home to tell my mom. She was home for a short while before I got home like she usually does. My dad was not there yet because he was showing an extra last minute house to a new family in town. They did fairly good at their jobs, so we were not exactly poor-but not rich either. My mom was starting dinner while I strode into the kitchen to approach her. I was a little nervous to tell her about the dreams, but I knew it had to be done, so that there could of at least be some other way to fix it. She gave me a look and could tell that something was wrong. I pulled out a stool surrounding the isle, and began to tell her my troubles.
I repeated what I had told Alexia, and her face began to grow with concern. At the end the began to grow with panic. I was confused at this response, but she did not give me too much time to think.
"Your not going to school for a while." she says to me in a semi calm voice. I am confused, for I am only having bad dreams, why does the effect if I go to school? I begin to protest but my mom stops me. There is something that I do not know, but I can sense that it is not good.My mother was always weirdly accurate when it can to suggestions like 'Do not go to that movie theater'. No matter how much I begged or pleaded I had was forced not to do it. Then something would happen in the place that my mom did not want me to go, like a robbery, or just something bad happening exactly where I would have been if she let me go. It was almost like she was psychic!
"Mom, it is not like it is going to happen- it was only a silly scary dream that keeps happening! All I wanted was something like a pill to help me sleep or something..."
"Amy, you may just think it is a dream, but it is way more. I have been keeping something from you for a long time and I do not think I can hold onto in for much time."She said it in a quick hushed tone."Stay in the house, and wait for your father to come home."
"What are you talking about mom? Is everything okay?" I asked worried.
"Hush, I need to call your father. Stay right there and chill for a second." she said as she was pulling out her cell phone.
After a what felt like forever the front door burst open as my dad came rushing in.
"Is she okay?" he asked as he ran over to me to give me a hug.
"She is fine,as long as we keep her in our sites." my mom assured him.
"Tell me what is going on!" I demanded.
"We really need to tell her hun." my mom told my dad.
They sat me down on the couch and sat down next to me. My mom let out a long sigh as she turned to me and gave me direct eye contact.
"Amy, we are not like other people," she started. "We have this unique ability that almost no one on this earth has. We have this gift that allows us to see into the future. Not necessarily like a physic, but something close that that sort of idea."
"What-" I let out but I am quickly interrupted by my dad.
"You told your mom about this dream you were having, right?" he asked. I nodded as he began to continue. "You 'dream' was not just a dream Amy. You are starting to receive your gift. To you it is just a bad dream because you were not aware of your power, but it is the starting of you seeing the future. In your dream you were seeing yourself being kidnapped, and it is a high possibility that it will happen."
I look at them in disbelief as my mom continues to explain.
"Because our gift is so valuable, people are willing to do anything to find our people with this gift for their own selfish needs. There is a chance that the man you are seeing in your visions are one of those people out to find you. We could not tell you before now because we wanted to keep you safe. It is easy to let a secret such as this get out, and we just could not risk it, but now as this vision has come into the picture and given your age, we had to tell you."
I am speechless at their revelation. I have a million questions in my head. This really could not be real-could it?
"This sounds kind of cool..." I say slowly. "So I am not allowed out of the house anymore?"
"No honey, if you do leave the house, we need to have you with us the entire time. No more school, no more events with you friends, nothing."
"But mom, I can't just not see my friends!" I protested.
"We are not trying to punish you! We are trying to keep you safe until we figure all of this out." my mom assured.
"Fine." I say. I am at a loss of words. My life is literally gone because of a stupid dream. I knew they were making up a story. I don't believe them.
I head up stairs to my room and close the door. I lay down on the top of my bed a sigh. I am startled when my phone starts belting 'Funky-town'.
"Great," I sigh. Now I have to explain I will never get to see people ever again because my parents are crazy!
"Hey Alexia." I said in a tired tone.
"Amy, you forgot you homework, and I have it for you, can you come over and pick it up? Maybe we can hang for a whole as well."
"Sorry Amy, I will never need to do HW again." I reply annoyed.
"Are you crazy Amy?!" she cried in disbelief.
"You would never believe the stupid story my parents told me! I swear they may be crazy!"
I then start to explain everything to Alexia as she would let out and occasional gasp or ask a question.
"You have to come to come to school Amy! Tomorrow is the pep rally-remember! You are doing the lead cheer stunt?!" she stressed.
My heart stopped. I totally forgot about the pep rally!
"I guess I will sneak out tomorrow for one last day of school."I say."I will just sneak out after my parents eave for work in the morning."
My plan was set. If only I had listened to my parents...

Hey, CHRISSY321! Happy review day!
I read the first part of this little trilogy, but I decided to put my review on the second part, mainly because I'd like to get it out the Green Room for you!
I do really like the idea you have going here, with the powers, and the kidnapping. It reminds me of an old show I watched, Heroes, where they "bagged and tagged" people with powers, so they didn't pose as a threat to any civilians in society. Very good show, by the way. Anyhow, there was just some technicalities that bugged my inner OCD.
First off, sometimes you put Alexia's name as "Alexia" and other times you put it as "Alexis". I'm sure this is just a typo, but it did leave me wondering whether there were two best friends with similar names, but I'm fairly certain that there's only one.
Secondly, your paragraph formatting was a little inconsistent. Sometimes you had indented paragraphs, and the next paragraph was not indented. Once, near the middle, you indented an entire group of one-line paragraphs, when the dad came home.
There were also a few other typos that I thought I should bring to your attention. At the end, when Amy is talking to Alexia over the phone, Amy says "Sorry Amy, I will never need to do HE again." She should have said "Sorry Alexia..." I think, and I would recommend that you spell HW out (homework). That phone conversation has a few more typos, but with a little proofreading and editing, this story will be polished off and complete.
I am definitely looking forward to the next part of this story! I hope this review helped out!

Hi! I'm going to come back after I get a good night's sleep so the review will be the best it can be. See you then!
Yay!
Hi CHRISSY321, Felistia here with a review for you on this wonderful review day.

Story: This is an overall a very compelling story, a bit slow at first, but man do you know how to build it up. By the second paragraph it had drawn me in and I just had to keep reading. I only realized right at the end that this was part two so I am going to go read part one now.
Characters: Amy is a very realistic character in my opinion which really helps my connect to her. Her parents also seem to be sweet. Her friend I didn't connect to so much, but then I didn't get much from her. Your dialogue is superb, especially in the urgent moments.
Description: Your description is really good and matches the theme of the story by not going over the top with the descriptions, because I feel like it would take away from the story. I would maybe insert some more colours and a bit of description about what the parents look like, but other than that it is perfect.
Small problems: (As a forget about it, and I am almost home,) The first part of this is a bit confusing.
(They did fairly good at their jobs, ) Replace (good) with (well).
(At the end the began to grow with panic.) The line is a bit confusing.
(weirdly accurate when it can to suggestions like) I think you meant to say (came) instead of (can).
(parents eave for work in the morning.") I think you meant to say (leave) instead of (eave).
Over all a great chapter and I look forward to the next one, if there is a next one. Never stop writing and I hope you have a great day\night.
P.S Please tag me for the next part when you post it, if you do.
I will! Thanks for the corrections! I will correct them when I can!
I will write another part, depending on how long it ends up it may be either 3 or 4 parts total! I will tag you in a post as soon as I post it! (Though it may not be for a while)
Amazing!
