This is an eye-opening poem about all of the things that go on, things we don't know about and choose not to look upon. It also has a hint of paranioa and insanity, depending on how you want to take it.
Onto the construction of the poem, I thought is was really well written and effective. The repitition of the line "Strange forces are at work," really emphasises on the matter at hand, and then you tell us where it is at work, and makes us think about what we may be missing.
The last three stanzas is what really takes me in. The three words in the fourth stanza show that what was at work was different, alien even. The fifth stanza shows that some cannot see them, yet we are drawn to them oin some way. The last line, "We are what we look upon." Is saying that we may choose what not to see and that we avoid such alienation to maintain our hold on reality.
All in all, it was a very powerful poem. well done and keep writing.
