I prayed for independence: the freedom to cook my own food.
I'm not overly fond of humans. I much prefer creatures with fur.
I prayed for a fluffy companion.
And people say there's no God!

Hello there fellow writer, DrFeelGood here to review your work.
Honestly speaking, I have no idea how to 'review' this work. I can however give my opinion on this work.
I specially like the intrigue factor. Unlike the reviewer before me, who found the "Do not read this if you're sensitive" warning weird, I can see what you did there. It's a nice way to confuse your readers. They expect something sensitive or controversial when they see such warnings and it helps you increase the comic nature of the piece.
Moldy bagel as the fluffy companion is funny and the short description before the image is certainly hilarious. The only thing which didnt make much sense to me, was the title. Since you're skillfully conning the readers with that warning in the descriptions, I expected you to come up with something bizarre and eye-catching title. The one at the moment is more of a give away.
Come up with something more random next time. I can't give much suggestions but I got to say you have sharp comic timing and this work had me laughing!
Good Job! Keep writing!
You had me worried when I clicked on this. It turned out to be funny, and I liked it. What's could be considered graphic about a picture of a moldy bagel?
Pretty funny, but this should be in poetry or something else. I don't know who'd be that sensitive to a picture of moldy food, but eh. Anyways, I enjoyed it! Thank you for your work!
I dont know if this is a poem, or if this is...actually I dont know what this is period. Honestly I'm not much of a sensitive person when it comes to moldy food but it's still nasty to see. Why you'd confuse the reader by not telling them what genre this is but, why you would say Animal instead of food. It'd give us as the readers more of a visual of what you're talking about. Either way I think you need to fix it to a genre because it looks like a poem but it doesnt at the same time. Also maybe a bit more creativity in the words rather than a picture of a nasty rotten piece of food would work best for you.
hope this helps

It's a joke. The fluffy companion I prayed for is the moldy bagel..it is fluffy with mold.
Makes sense to me. and for the record I laughed till my lungs decided I wasnt allowed to laugh
