A troubling turmoil over twelfth months ago,
where a lie was perpetrated under the
eyes of Guardians, blind, as they allow
past, demons and vile vermin into this
holy place.
Lying instead of the palace behind these
gates, a labortory, where acts of horror
committed, where sounds of torture scream
from the silent walls of this place. Experiments
into the human condition of sanity and how to
destroy, how to lie, how to decieve how to make
all hopes burn out of sight.
He told you his name, without reserve, slept with you,
took your trust, broke the words he sang to you, sang in
seductive fashion while drawing his sword, slicing the
knot.
In the night, demons came.
In the night, humanity wept.
Jekyll was now Hyde, robbing your aspirations,
with broken promises and strong lies, sweet words
taste like vanilla as he bedded you night and night.
The Guardians hold back the true Knight, lost and confused
to what is done.
Tumbling into bed as the game plays,
Hyde turns to Jekyll, Jekyll to Hyde,
all dreams wish for a better life...
But the Knight grows tires of this,
he weeps his final tears before
dropping all pretense, as you are
trapped behind nonsense.
Hyde stalks as you hide.
Mirrors show facades, you
dare not face. Eyes that cry
with your puny sighs.
Demons dwell, dwell in this place
the mind expanse, wide and vast.
Alone...
Alone...
The door is locked.
Hyde approaches with his swagger,
grinning maliciously, "You stupid fool."
In the corner of the minds eyes, a light
sparks. Oblivious to the candle of dreams,
burning bright. Dreams wish for more, and
sleep pleads, robes of brown, Cinderella alone.
Her image of the Happy Prince, shines in the cortex,
idealist dreams thrive on the fractured mind.

" he sang to you, sang in"
You repeated 'sang' wayy too close together
Overall it was good though, congrats
These are only misspelled words I found.
Wow, I really love this. The rhythm is perfect, the imagery too and the whole thing is just wow. I've got nothing else to say. It's just beautiful.
Keep writing!
