'A bandit that masquerades and
fools its prey into
normalizing its parasitic ways,
A drug so desirable it consumes your days,
causing confidence as fraudulent
as the reflections from a carnival mirror,
An addictive substance that manages
to viciously dictate your mind,
And slowly drives you into a
physiological craze,
A desire that seems to take away
your pain,
But turns logical people insane,
A chameleon capable of secluding
itself in billions of forms,
It suffocates you silently,
without triggering any alarms
How must you escape its
hypnotizing dance?
As your insides cave in from
overdosing,
On its hellish trance ...

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
A newly improved piece! Thanks for the suggestions.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The rhythm is almost non-existent. But, I also feel like this poem has more to say and would benefit from being lengthened or tdragged out a bit more. I appreciate your consistent punctuation. I feel like the excess of ellipses at the end is unnecessary. Stick to three or so. Then, there's the third line. I desperately wanted that line to work, but it just doesn't. It's far too long and it feels like it's trying too hard. I usually am not one for metaphors, but yours are more unique than most, therefore tolerable. The random rhyme in line four throws me off, as my brain seems to prefer either consistency in rhyme or no rhyme at all. I feel like if you swap the final line and the second to last, removing the ellipses, that would help the flow, at the very least.
Keep it up! I'm sure if you try you can fix some of these problems. I'm sorry this is so short, but I was almost out of time and I wanted to finish this review. Have a good day!

The rhythm is uneven because all the sentences varies in number of feet (syllables), I think it would be better if you formatted it like this so it emphasises key words like 'physiological craze, pain and overdosing, and the rhythm per sentence is mostly the same throughout the poem:
'A bandit that masquerades and
its prey into
normalising its parasitic ways,
A drug so desirable it consumes your days
An addictive substance that manages
To viciously dictate your mind,
And slowly drives you into a
Physiological craze,
A desire that seems to take away
Your pain,
But truly turns logical people insane,
A chameleon capable of secluding
Itself in billions of forms,
It suffocates you silently,
Without triggering any alarms
How must you escape its
hypnotising dance?
As your insides cave in from
Overdosing,
on its hellish trance ...
Another suggestion: I don't think its necessary to write truly in this sentence
Thanks for the review! I think I will take your advice!
